Btw: this engine is 500 lbs
The dirt where I put up inflatable holiday decorations is rock hard. I am looking for ideas on how to secure them. I also need ideas on things like lights or projectors on a stake for Halloween.
How bad will paracord or something like that fray if I tie it around a brick or cinderblock? At first I didn't like the idea but my plan A failed horribly.
I'm open to other ideas, but I'd like to avoid needing to hammer metal spikes in rock hard dirt if possible.
I tried filling little plastic buckets with potting soil, in the hope that the spikes would go in there, but the dirt is too lose. I also hoped that would work for the Halloween lights and projector. The buckets are way too light too.
Wife is painting the bathroom so removed all hanging items, includes of the towel holder. With a redneck engineer in the house, that will not stand. A finger tight screw in a wall anchor and problem solved.
Got behind this gem otw to work this morning. Definitely a new mod I haven't seen before.
Buddy put a hitch on a Coleman so he can spread de-icer faster on jobs. Peak engineering.

Needed some form of A/C today to beat the Aussie sun, so I thrown this thing together…
The speaker works better than the old one and is wired directly to the keypad speaker output. It announces door opening as it should, once more. Thanks Jawbone for your early 2000s solution!
