At the Avalon signal next to the fire station, I was driving behind a car that was behaving suspiciously. The driver stopped about 20 meters before the signal without using their blinkers or indicators and didn’t move when the light turned green. I decided to wait, not wanting to risk overtaking, as I was concerned it might hit me from the side.
When the light turned green again, the car suddenly reversed at maximum speed (it seemed they might have put the car in reverse instead of drive). I honked, and they stopped just inches away from my car.
The car then moved to the side, and I looked over to see the driver. It was a group of people laughing, with no decency to apologize or acknowledge their mistake.
This kind of reckless behavior puts the lives of others at risk, and I’ve noticed it happening increasingly often in this area.
Anyone else hear it too?
Hi,
AFAF - we’re looking for a lost brown leather wallet. Dropped in Luke McRedmond Park (behind Woodblock) within the last ~60 - 80 minutes. Possibly on sidewalk on Lake Samm Pkwy just adjacent to the park (by the little hill.)
Thanks for any info
Is there a way to find what happened at 156st and 40th? There's several police cars
Question
How/where can we get Harris Walz 2024 yard signs this week, or same day? I’m worried about doing it direct from the campaign because last time they shipped anything in 2016 and 2020, took 5-10 days.
There is this extremely loud car revving its engine multiple times in the last ten minutes. Does anyone know who this is?
Hi, im looking for a good neighborhood to trick or treat with my friends in! any suggestions?
Hi folks
Looking to buy a property around Redmond ridge and was looking at the commute options to Redmond. The public transport seems very limited with a bus to town center every 2 hours ? Any ideas or suggestions for a non-driver with usually adhoc calls to the city ?
Has anyone gotten a fine for parking in the garage behind Woodblock? Parked in a 2 hour retail spot, over $200 on dinner, and came back to a $95 fine. I’ve seen mixed responses on whether these fines can even be collected. Is it worth emailing them?
Hi folks,
I'll be moving to Redmond in November. My temporary housing is near Sammamish and I was thinking of using the river trail to cycle to and from work in Redmond.
Is there anything I should look out for and is it safe, especially near dark?
Thanks!
For those still looking for pumpkins and Autumn photo ops, Sound Sustainable Farm Stand has a really cute pumpkin set up right now with decorations! Their Instagram has great video and photos of everything, and it looks like the prices are great too (starting at $4 for smaller pumpkins)
The address is 14017 NE 124th St, Redmond, WA 98052. Have fun taking pics and buying local! :)
My insurance no longer covers Evergreen. I am in the process of looking for a new primary care physician but these reviews are concerning… Looking for a doctor who wants to look for the root of issues vs only suggesting bs bandaid prescriptions and I would love someone who has time to actually see their patients vs booking 5+ weeks out. Is that too much to ask for in the Redmond Area??
Any time recommendations I might find it available?
I’m curious - do people buy their meat from a butcher, regular grocery stores, or online? If you have a unique source, please share! I’m looking to buy high-quality meat.
Now that Eastside Beerworks is closed does anyone have any recommendations?
Hi there,
I lived in redmond DT.
My apartment just told me that there is only car stacker parking spot available in the building, wondering does anyone happen to have any experience with it? I am still in the process of getting a car, not sure whether I should get one anymore in this situation...
are these speedbumps/rumble strips? they're very thin
How much does gutter cleaning usually cost and any recommended companies?
I'm fairly new to the state, and am looking to donate some of my older electronics. Everything is totally functional - I just don't use any of it anymore and have less living space than I used to. There are a few game consoles and a laptop.
I'm looking for places nearby to donate these. I found InterConnect online, but it's farther away than I was planning to go. I don't want to sell them or do personal donations - would prefer they go to a humanitarian organization if possible. Any suggestions?
Edit: Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I'll look into all of these for my donations.
So I just accepted a contracting position that’s based out of the Amazon Redmond campuses. Where can I park during the workday? I’m happy to pay to park, but obviously free is preferable. Absolute worst case I can take transit from Seattle, but it would involve multiple buses so I’d rather drive.
Thank you so much!
I don't see many people there, but in case of a random attack, I'm not sure anyone would see or help. Have you ever had any problems on the 520 Bike Trail at night? It's a nice place for walking, but safety is important to me.
Anyone knows what just happened on WL Sammamish near Marymoor? I saw a car and something in the bushes that maybe looked like someone lying there? There was one police car and no ambulances.
This video succintly summarizes how the carbon tax is a hidden gas tax favoring billionaires and increasing the cost of the living in WA state. Be sure to VOTE YES on I-2117 to reverse the gas tax and see gas prices and prices for everthing else as a result go down. Jay Inslee had said it would add pennies to the gas prices. In reality it added 43 cents PER GALLON OF GAS SOLD IN WA STATE. Do the math. Vote YES. Pay less
