A subreddit where people can rate your singing!

Welcome to this wholesome subreddit :) We hope that you enjoy your time here and please take a moment to read the rules:

1) NO trolling or overly-hurtful responses. Doing this will result in a ban.

This includes harassment ,Bullying, Abuse, and any forms of toxic behaviour.

2) When you post, be aware that you may get a negative response. However, don't let one negative response be fact- these reviews are subjective.

3) When responding, give advice! Don't just say "this sucks", let them know the reasons why, or what to work on. Also, try to point out the good in the voice, as well!

4) The point of this is to have average people who don't often sing figure out whether or not they actually have a good voice. However, actual singers are free to use this as well for critiques, but please try not to use this as a vessel for promotion.

5) When breaking the news that someone isn't a good singer, just say something along the lines of, "Singing isn't for you", "Keep practicing!", or "You voice is utterly horrific and you should never display it publicly or else you will face a lifetime of isolation."

Once again, this should be an informative and helpful subreddit, so don't be outright mean if the voice doesn't match your taste.

Is this good? Is there enough soul?

Ofc trying to add a lot of weight and opening decently which makes me sound weird since it's unnatural. I maybe tried too hard to imitate Whitney I tried to add style and melismas everywhere to make it more "interesting"

Is It cringe

I'm planning on learning how to play this song on guitar for my bf for valentine's day. The guitar track is from a karaoke app, I just wanna know if the singing's ok enough for the song to not be shitty(?) (from "and when..." onward it sounds weird, my earbuds died and I couldn't really hear the music through the phone)

any potential? (better explanation inside the post)

Need professional advice I'm a complete beginner who just happens to like music, but I cannot really tell if I sound horrible or good or anything at all

I need an opinion from someone who is a professional to tell me if there is some potential to my singing??? becauseee

I'm afraid to pick up any vocal lessons if my voice is mediocre, because I'll need to ask my family for money and if I'm actually bad at singing they will laugh at me + say it's a waste of money lol

no harsh feelings too, just say as it is I genuinely want to know

Retry: i want you around - Snoh Aalegra cover

Since I never seem to get much feedback when I record on BandLab, i thought I’d strip it down to bare vocals as much was possible. Was recording and instrumental music same device so I had to hold it close lol. Ratings and feedback is much appreciated to help me improve

Did I choose the wrong song for my singing contest? I feel like I don't have enough vocal control to do it:/ (moving too fast from the last 5 years)

Hi there! I'm a complete amateur in singing, I've never had lessons before, I only sing sometimes in the shower. There's a singing contest at my HS next month and I'm really hoping to win it!! My song is 'moving too fast' from the last 5 years, and I'm hoping someone can teach me how to use my head voice/sing from my diaphragm in the ooooooh at 2:10, any advice/criticism is greatly appreciated! Thanksssss guys<3
