Hello all,
I have celiac disease, and cannot eat gluten in any amount without a reaction. It's very serious for me and i want to ensure that if I end up going here the food will be safe. I have seen some articles stating that the food is not safe for people with severe allergies, and that the faculty are not very caring towards the safety of food or cross contamination. Is there anyone on campus who has celiac disease/a serious allergy who can state their experience when it comes to dining with celiac disease/an allergy? thank you
Hello everyone!!!
I am participating in an internship and need 150 thoughtful responses to this survey: (https://mind-the-class-git-dev-mind-the-class.vercel.app/en/survey?key=d2903369-223f-4adf-9058-d5a20072b9dc)
WHAT IS IT? - This public health survey is designed to assess different areas of psychological health and identify protective factors that help prevent mental health issues. Once completed, the survey provides personalized "scores" for your Psychological Health and Protective Factors. Additionally, it generates a MindArch Health Action Plan or MAHAP (pronounced m-a-p) — a tailored roadmap to maintain and improve your mental well-being.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE IT? - By participating in this survey, you’ll gain valuable insights into your mental health and receive a personalized action plan based on your responses. Whether or not you currently face mental health challenges, taking this survey helps you be proactive in building psychological resilience and managing stress in your life.
Taking a few moments to reflect on your mental health can be a great investment in your overall well-being. The survey is open to anyone aged 12 and above, and I genuinely believe it could benefit everybody! :)
Thank you in advance if you decide to participate! (survey is all multiple choice and should take around 3-5 mins to complete)
how is the course like, any pros and cons?
does anyone know how/if you can send mail and packages from the campus?
Do any prospective students have the common app fee waiver code that they got from August visits. I can't believe I just missed out on them.
So I have a sister considering applying, and after taking a tour she really liked how the suites looked. Any recommendations about on campus housing for underclassmen?
I want to defer my offer letter for the nxt semester does anyone have a clue, when we can do that or the consequences of applying for deferral.

Would love to know if you like it. How do you like your professors? Are there passionate film students? Is it hands-on? Do you think you'l have good connections to get jobs in the industry after?
Thanks!
I keep finding mixed results from sources and i’d like to know from students what their winter break is. thanks!!
Anyone have any personal experience and know if QU decreases merit aid for incoming freshman if grades drop second semester of senior year in HS? Asking for a friend lol.
Got accepted into Quinnipiac with a very hefty transfer student academic scholarship of 28,000 annually over the 2 years (if I do accept to go there to get my bachelors) offer. However, I am seeing that the university isn’t very diverse and I am a black man so I am a tad bit concerned not going to lie. In addition, I don’t know my financial aid package so I will be waiting on that also, but that’s basically it. Would like to hear how Quinnipiac is from people who have previously gone there or currently go there. I feel like deep down I was a DEI acceptance due to the high acceptance rate but if they give me a good financial aid package I suppose it’s whatever.
Hi I’m a potienal incoming student for fall of 24 and I’m curious on what it is like being queer here. I am lesbian and definitely out and want to make sure that i will be in a safe environment here.
Does anyone have an extra ticket to the QU Theatre New Play Lab today. Something went wrong with my purchase, and I don't see a receipt. I really would be so remarkably appreciative if I could buy someone's. I'd pay extra. Thank you!
Hello! Incoming med student here. Was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction for housing recommendations, either here or at least to a better subreddit. Travel isn't an issue so long as it's somewhat quiet and within half an hour driving distance to the ned school. Thanks!
i’ll be a freshman this upcoming fall and got accepted to quinnipiac with a scholarship and admission into the 3+1 molecular cell biology program. i visited the campus and loved it, as well as the academics. the only issue seemed to be the area around the school. there didn’t seem to be anything outside of campus to do, and i’m unable to drive as a freshman. other than that i loved it. does anyone have any opinions, pros/cons? how’s the party life? thanks!!!!!
hi! i’m a prospective student and was wondering if it is easy to find people that share your interests. i’m not planning on joining greek life, would my social life be worse because of it or does it matter?

My daughter got accepted to QU and Kent State but wait-listed at Umass Amherst...she really liked the high energy at Amherst and is worried Kent is to quiet....it's a commuter school...How's life at QU? I'm trying to get her to come visit in April because I think she'd love it.
anyone here who has done/is doing the 4+2 Entry Level PA Program at Quinnipiac who can speak about their experience?
