Woodhaven and Metro. Can’t think of it, it’s driving me crazy.
Hi all, I'm trying to find some new indoor hobbies, especially as winter hibernation is just around the corner!
Does anyone have recommendations for adult classes for learning how to knit or crochet in the borough? TIA
Double sided color on thick gloss paper letter size (it would be monthly)
Update 11.02.24 : They are moving to Rego Park Plaza (my bad)
I was this morning there, I heard a worker telling that to a customer … I would like to know if any other stores in New York will be closing this year (I don’t know if there was a post about this before in this sub)
As Election Day draws near, it’s very important we remember that freedom of expression is a given right.
No matter which side you believe in, you have the right to express your political beliefs without a fear of retaliation. Yes, it’s okay to have an opinion, it’s okay to have emotions, but it’s NOT okay to take that out on someone else.
Wherever you vote, there are polling rules. You’re required to follow the rules. However, the moment you leave a polling site, you’re in the neighborhood of homes and businesses where owners can express their political beliefs. This is not an intimidation on voters as they go to vote.
Please be civil. Remember your rights - Americans can vote however they choose to. You do not have the right to attack anyone.
As Americans, as Queens residents, we will get through this together. Be civil. Don’t stress.
Lastly, respect your poll workers.
I mean really?!?! Come on folks! Halloween vultures.
Hi, we live near Forest Hills but have never gone trick or treating there - I’ve seen Austin/burns street mentioned, can anyone give me an idea of where the decorated /trick or treat friendly areas start?
Hello !
Looking to show a friend from Chicago a nice night out preferably in Queens. It’s been a while since my days of bar hopping and clubbing. I would love any recommendations for any spots ! Preferably nothing with a crazy cover charge and casual attire. Ideally spots for dancing, good drinks. Latin music and mix of hiphop. We are mid 30ish so NO teen clubs or college bars ideally. Thanks in advance! Open to other parts of queens!!
There have been a couple times where I've gone to Jackson Heights, and I've noticed a Filipino street festival or farmers market 2 or 3 times. I'm not sure what it's called, but it seems to be a weekly occurrence.
Anyone know what this is, and what the schedule is? Would love to go back.
Grew up on Brighton beach in Brooklyn and I’ve been craving some decent pelmeni lately without going all the way out there.
I think I might be able to get some at Shashlichnaya on Queens Blvd but maybe someone knows a hidden gem
I’ve seen a few articles saying it’s coming, but none have talked about when it’s expected to open.
