Subreddit for the 1989 and 2022 NBC series ‘Quantum Leap’ created by Donald P. Bellisario.
Welcome all leapers, observers, and parallel hybrid computers with massive, Barbara Streisand-esque egos!
This reddit is for all things related to the TV show Quantum Leap, starring Scott Bakula as the time travelling do-gooder Sam Beckett, and Dean Stockwell as his best friend and project observer Admiral Al Calavicci.

Sorry if this is an old topic but I can't seem to find the show on peacock ... I just used the black Friday deal to finally start watching and I can't find it??? 😔
Is this show actually not on peacock?? Where can I stream it?
When you haven't seen QL since it originally aired & watch the pilot... Opening scene over and credits started and I am crying. Didn't realize I missed it this much. Welcome home guys.
Does anyone know what this font is called? Or perhaps an extremely close equivalent? I'm doing a project and was wanting this for the title cards. Thanks in advance for any input!
Al could have been the leaper for about half a season.

According to what I'm seeing on (American) Amazon, Season 2 of the revival will be released Nov. 29th.
It initially costs $35 (!) but I understand they tend to come down quickly.
No word on extra features.
The nominations are out for BroadwayWorld New Hampshire awards and Scott Bakula has been nominated for Best Performer in a Musical playing Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha at Peterborough Players. I know a lot of Quantum Leap fans went to see him and, in some ways, to see an episode of Quantum Leap come to life, so if you enjoyed his performance and want to vote for him, voting is open until December 31st.
Also, Chelsea was nominated for the same award for her portrayal of Aldonza/Dulcinea and the production and director were nominated for their respective categories.
Additionally, if you enjoyed my (Darren Green) performance, I was shocked to see that I was nominated for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical for playing Juan in that show and you can vote for me. I'm the guy who had posted the news article from my hometown newspaper about acting in this show with my favorite actor.

If you were offered a Quantum Leap back into your life at any point as a sort of fixed point do-over would you take it?
The condition if the leap being that you leap into your younger self but that's about it.
Your present day body was destroyed in the transit and for all intents and purposes tour "soul" from the present day lives in your younger body with all memories intact.
For myself I thought about this a lot before writing this and to be honest I don't think I would change anything because of the very real fear of changing time.
I know that's one of the really silly things in science fiction that they go on about in movies but I do wonder if it was a real thing if there would be some kind of real world effect.
I might tamper with telling a couple of dear people that they should have a health check done, thus possibly saving their lives.
That's probably as far as I would take with meddling.
I think knowing what I know now I might not do some of the things that I have done and lead a bit more of a different life, same hobbies, same interests just different choices.
