Pronghorn are not deer, they are more or less ungulates like cows...but even if they are or aren't, they are still great animals whether you enjoy looking at them, hunting them, eating them, or even (here's a whacky joke ex) having them as a pet......just joking......

Wyoming unit recommendations

Hey, not looking for anyone's honey hole but planning a DIY Pronghorn hunt in Wyoming next year. There'll be 4 of us and we all have 3 preference points. Any suggestions on units? I think we're looking to get a Pronghorn buck more than were looking for a trophy so good access to public and quality numbers are a priority but good scenery wouldn't hurt either. Thanks.

Who else is sick and goddamn tired of people comparing pronghorn to deer and deer-like creatures?

Now just the other day I was over on r/baddragon because I heard the company made super cool lifelike animal toys and action figures and I wanted to get my nephew a pronghorn toy for his birthday. Of course some jackass had to come in and start saying, "oh, well, they don't make any pronghorn figures but you could probably get a deer" like REALLY?? Pronghorns are not deer, or elk, or cervids of any kind, they are closer to giraffes than the goddamn common deer, so sick of this misinformation running around, really wish people would just respect the goddamn animal!! Was so mad I didn't even bother with that company anymore, they can get goddamned fucked for all I care!!!!!

Friend got one, will the others be back?

My friend got a pronghorn and it was one of many in the herd. How long does it normally take for them to come back to the same spot? Or will they ever come back to the same spot after one gets shot?

Everyone, please share your fondest memories of BunHein here

As you all know, Mr. Hein is currently missing and presumed dead. It would be wonderful if everyone took some time to share a few words (don't care if they are nice or not) about our beloved founder.

Alright you flapdoodles, things are about to change around here. As the voles subreddit has been sold, I will be permanently leaving it to maintain the pronghorn forum full time.

You can expect a lot more posts from me, and I will be expecting a lot for posts from YOU, you buncha lazy blighters.

How fast do you think a pronghorn could run if you gave it copious amounts of methamphetamines?

Hope Santa brings lots of successful hunts and sagebrush to eat, depending on what end you are on.
