So I have been playing Aoe2 for a long time, and have just now started Celeste. It feels so far like an incredible game, the best part about it is of course the progression system with all the gears, advisors, city building, etc.
I feel like the actual gameplay (during quests and pvp) have been standard and not much of a challenge to pick up, given my experiences from AOE2, but still would highly appreciate it if any veterans here can provide some tips or tricks for a player like me? Thank you.
Hi, I've been recently playing Project Celeste, and I'm so in love with the game. We've done some online matches with a friend and we had a blast!
However, we tried playing against the AI in skirmish mode (the one you access through Cyprus, if I'm not wrong) and it totally destroyed us, even in the standard difficulty level. Later on, I managed to win against a single AI opponent in standard, but it was literally one of the most challenging AoE games ever for me (I'm talking about the whole franchise). I consider myself a relatively AoE skilled player, and I am pretty sure that the AI had really strong units and economy, more than should be expected without any kind of bonus.
Neither I nor my friend played through all the PvE quests that the game offers for the first hours of gameplay. Is it possible that, by doing so, we will be able to unlock more powerful gear/units/whatever to play fairly against the AI? Or is there something we're not taking into account?
I can't just play offline skirmish now since the last update in late Sept 2024. I get to the select the 8 civilizations screen, but you can't click any of them. Is that because there is still updating going on or another reason?
Also, I feel the jump from weak computer player to standard computer player is pretty big ... I know I know just play better but seems a little harsher than the old game I remember.
Hello, Last time I played the game was a long time ago and I wat to restart all the progress in my account, start from 0. How can I do it?
Ahoj, chtěl bych se zeptat, jak se dpstanu na váš Discord? nechce mi to povolit přístup :(

Event #8 game of the week - Rotten vs Smiga - Can the artist formerly known as Libo survive Smiga's forward towers in the Norse mirror?
Event #9 game of the week - qeast vs Indoors - Who will be king of the swamp?
So I just installed the game but it is insanely hard. I can consistently defeat the hard AI on AoE2, the Very Hard AI on AoE3 and AoE4 but on this game I get destroyed incredibly easily against the standard AI on my first skirmish.
Does the online component of the game affects the gameplay? (for example need to equip items or boosts to my units) or are the unlockables just cosmetic?
