It’s so funny how..

It’s so funny how many think paypigs are the most common sub. I have been doing in person sessions for 5 years, and have only encountered a small handful of men claiming to be paypigs. Maybe 3 actually were. Of those 3? 1 of them could truly afford to be a “good pay pig.” I really can’t wait for this vanilla side hustle that is twitter findom would get boring to people soon. Or at least stop ending up in my feed. Mostly though I wish the confused young subs would stop messaging my booking number asking me to answer their questions. If you don’t know if you’re a sub or a content buyer or a paypig? Do the research? I feel like the amount of traffic in my fetlife inbox, and to my booking number has gotten way worse in quality over the last 2 years. I wonder if I am alone in this..? I believe it is some sort of ripple effect from this online domme sensationalism that’s been a fad in recent years? The lack of training those subs get makes for some bossy bottom bitches, let me tell you. And no, just because you were paying women for nothing before does not mean you can now pay me for services, and expect the world and give nothing in return! I don’t care what you experienced on the World Wide Web little sad sack sub! When you approach me like the scared boy you are, why would you think you deserve more attention in person just because you got ignored online? I can’t wait to go on tour, and visit my home city so that I can have some better quality subs. Cities that don’t have many dommes or even a commercial dungeon? Those cities have some of the worst subs I have ever encountered outside of my DMs on X. More proof that they need us to whip their sorry asses into something that, if you squint hard enough, might resemble a shape.

I crossed a boundary, but not sure how. Now what?

Hi! I have been messaging a dom back and forth on a daily basis since early November after some level of exchange since August.

I have been very respectful and protective of thier time and also have sent them money (out of respect for thier time and a desire to be generous). They have often commented on how respectful I am of thier time... then they assumed we had an agreement and may have assumed I was submitting to them already (when we don't have anything in place or have a conversation). I pointed this out because if there are explicit expectations I need to know this.

I haven't heard from them in a week. The lonest I've ever gone with hearing from them is 2 days. I appologized and asked for clarity (even if that was no longer wanting me to contact them) and still haven't heard. What do I do?

Hello beautiful Dommes! I am fairly new to Reddit. I have not posted much. The site is a bit confusing but I'm really trying. I stopped interacting for a while because I just wasn't getting it. I tried a few things but is there some tips anyone of you can share please? I am trying to also get OF subs but it's just not working. Please help.

Irl and the law

Hi! I'm a new online Domme (been Domming in my personal life 8 years) and I'm toying with the idea of also doing live in person sessions, but I don't know the legalities in my area as far as what is allowed, what is not, what kind of space is required. I would love to do live sessions if I can do them legally but I'm not about to play around and take legal risks with this kind of work.

(I would, of course, vet clients and bring a bodyguard person with me for safety)

Where to advertise

I have been providing sensory and domination sessions, advertising mainly through FetLife and word of mouth. I would like to increase my advertising to reach additional clients.

Where is a good place to start?

Pro domme mentoring/training

So my girlfriend and I have recently been exploring a domme/sub dynamic in our relationship (where I am the submissive), and while she has done a bunch of research on the matter on her own in order to learn (Reddit, podcasts, forums, internet searches/websites) she has decided to take the next step which is finding a pro domme to mentor/train her. She has found Mistress Damiana Chi and the Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy, and is very intrigued by a lot of what is advertised from them. The only thing is it’s incredibly hard to find credible reviews and testimonials on the academy outside of the things posted to Mistress Damiana Chi’s/the academy’s directly affiliated pages and platforms.

With that said, I was wondering if anyone has actual information or input on her and her academy? Does anyone have real life experience dealing with her or her academy? (I understand that this particular mistress is a legit pro domme, just thinking more so about if the academy is actually worth it)

Also, are there any other credible mistresses and/or academy’s that can be recommended?

Furthermore, in person for this is not out of the cards, it’s just been difficult to find someone that is aligning with what is being looked for.

How many of you offer Oral Services?

I don't know if it's common, or men are just hoping I'll say yes...but 80% of clients that contact me say they want queening/facesitting/forced cunniligus. Like uhhhhh, I don't know anyone who offers anything like that, escorts or dommes. I suppose there's dental dams but those are so unsexy, and even then I don't want them down there to begin with.

So, is there anyone out there that does this? Because it seems like they just want to jerk off to the thought of it, they just like saying it 🙄

Personal slave frustration

It seems that personal slaves are predominantly a waste of time and I am immensely more capable of serving myself after charging for a session than expecting a man to ever serve coherently. They are usually so clingy and desperate for attention. Seems to me that the requests to become personal slaves has increased with an inability to pay a tribute. Basically, these guys wanna be in your space and in your life without contributing any money. Also, never encountered a man who can actually do any of my chores well.

Aftercare room

Hi there! I am a professional Dominatrix, with a background in psychology. Before I become a dominatrix, I worked in mental health services. The skills I gained whilst doing this inform the work I do now. I noticed very early on how transformative the space after the session was for clients. Because of the level of vulnerability we get to and how quickly they trust me, the aftercare often becomes therapeutic in nature and I find a lot of the transformation happens there.

I have a play space in my home and I am now creating an aftercare room. What things do you think would be beneficial in an aftercare room?

I want to be able to have space specifically where I can hold and care for my subs afterwards 🙏

Websites

Hey Dommes, I'm a bit late as I haven't advertised since before backpage because I had enough regulars. I moved to a different city and now have no idea where to put ads. Only one I know of is Tryst. Are there others? The traffic of Tryst is slow. Thank you!!

Newbie questions on etiquette and more...

Hi. I am interested in hearing from all perspectives sub and domme alike.

I'm new and wondering how common it is for a prodomme to get a female sub?

Also, is it common to ask for permission to get off to in person sessions after the fact? Would asking that be common curtesy? What if the dynamic didn't extend beyond the scene? Does it then become wierd?

How do you find your local domme community?

I want to start irl sessions, I love being a domme and I think it’s my calling. I have so many questions that couldn’t be answered on the internet, but the bdsm community in my country lays low and stays hidden. How can I find them?

Can you give me guidance?

Hello, my Domme name is Mistress Kitten. I received numerous offers of sub in my dms on Facebook and Instagram before even knowing what a sub was.

I decided to give it a go, when I do things I give it my all. I started a bdsm bootcamp recently on Dom sub living. I opened an account on fetlife. I even bought books and watch documentaries. I consider myself a goddess, I live in French-Canada.

To me being a pro Domme is the upmost form of respect and trust.

Anyways, I refused one offer because it was really suspicious, refused offers that included toilet play and the last guy didn't like the idea of paying.

I find that I don't have that much support for becoming a pro Domme specifically.

I'm glad I found this group. I find I have mostly difficulty approaching the fee subject, because I'm a beginner.

Hi there I’ve been doing dominating for a while but most of my subs always paid for sessions, I’ve now had a influx of subs wanting me to give them tasks and stuff but I have no idea what to price it, I’ve also had a few want to have daily chats tell me what they’ve done, show me sissy outfits etc and obviously I charge for that but I have no idea on the pricing

Fetlife doesnt work.

Which ad sites actually work for you? Do you have other suggestions you find work well?

Looking for info for Canada, and Europe/UK.

Thank you.

Dom who loves to cook!

I am fairly new here on Reddit. I have been in the erotic field for over 10 years though. A few years back I got into Findom though, and although I often get gifted fine dining giftcards from subs, I absolutely enjoy cooking!. My subs now send me money for me to buy the best ingredients to cook my meals and I love it! Any other Doms who can relate? Or subs who love knowing their doms are amazing cooks?

To be a ProDomme, you must be skilled in your craft. Understanding and immersing yourself into the BDSM lifestyle is helpful. You must be competent and RISK AWARE in all things that you do. Your client has put full trust into you. Its ok to be new, but always continue to learn and practice!

Newbie in need of pricing (and other) advice

Hope this doesn't break the no "how do I start" posts rule, but I've got a question for you all. I'm making the transition from lifestyle dominant to pro, and need some advice. I've been actively topping/domming in the scene for 2+ years now, and it's given me a lot of (from what I can tell) high-demand skills, like rope bondage/suspension, impact topping from basic floggers to Florentine to whips and canes, anal training/pegging, power exchange and brat taming, humiliation and degradation, and hypnotism. I've been doing online domming through niteflirt, and I feel like I'm pretty good at it.

So my question is, how much should I be charging per hour? A local dungeon in my city touts itself as one of the "cheaper" pro services in the area, and they charge $300/hr. A dungon rental for me would be $100/hr, so charging $300/hr doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. Is this a good price point to start with, or am I over-valuing my experience?

I would also love to pick someone's brain about a few other things I have questions about, such as basic safety, vetting, legality, negotiation/aftercare, hotel vs dungeon rental, etc, but I understasnd that the people in this sub (probably more than most) have a good idea of what their time is worth, so I'm trying to do as much research on my own as I can.

New Domme Needs help with Pricing!!

I have a guy who wants me to Dom him into completing his tasks, keep him busy & also to run my errands and clean my house. What should I be charging for stuff like this?

Any ideas on an hourly rate? OR Weekly? I don't want to overcharge or undercharge but I'm newer to actually being involved as a Domme (with many years of research under my belt)

Any advice would be great!! Thanks

How long did it take before you started getting clients?

I’m a new provider. I’m not affiliated with a dungeon nor do I have a dungeonette. I wonder if that’s why it’s taking a while to get my first client.

Pros, how long did it take before you started getting clients? Do you work out of a dungeon or have your own?

Clients, what does it take for you to take a chance and see a new provider? Do you prefer that new providers either have their own dungeons or work out of one?

Chastity training question for a sub

Hey, I have a sub that is really struggling with chastity training.

What's do you have your sub use to keep moisture in their cage? As a sub what do you prefer to use?

Also they seem to be very uncomfortable at night. I'm think he has the wrong size everything is pulling and causing pain.

Any advice is much appreciated! :)

This might be a stupid question..

I don't know how to ask so I'm just gonna ask.

Is it possible to learn and become a ProDomme when you're broke and becoming homeless??

Believe it or not I'm not doing this out of desperation I actually want to learn how to do this. I've had an interest for some time but I've been reading and I feel like the best thing to do is actually DOING. Get in there and learn. If anyone can give me some pointers or where to start that would be great. I heard I should apprentice in a dungeon... I'm just at a lost
