Since I was young I’ve had several experiences with dreams. But I grew up in a cult, 4th generation Jehovahs Witnesses-you mighta heard of them. So I tried to ignore it, but I always feared I had a dark side I didn’t understand.

I’m happy to say that last year my husband and I both woke up and left that cult together. I’m new to being open and not fearful, but curious. I’ve been wondering if I have some kind of nature ability, if that sort of thing runs in families? And if i do, I want to learn to tap into it!

I’ve been controlled and repressed my entire life, I want to explore what I really am openly and I have no clue where to start! So please be gentle, I mean no disrespect if my questions are dumb!

The earliest dream I remember having, was a nightmare. When I woke my dad in fear and told him my dream in detail, I still remember the fear in his eyes, he told me I had woken him from the same exact dream.

It’s was summer. A bbq with family. I jumped into the deep end of the pool at my cousins house and couldn’t swim. I thought I had snuck away while noone was looking. I was drowning and reaching for help as I sank. I remember looking up at the top of the water and seeing a figure reaching for me as my eyes faded to black. It was too late. In his dream, he watched me wander off and walk up to the pool. He watched me jump and started running for me. When he got to me, he saw my eyes shut under water. And that’s when I woke him.

All during my life I have had dreams that have later come true.

Not sure if this is related but I have also had odd fears of something happening in my life that have come true as well.

Most recently I had an outright thought come true. An odd one. I was getting ready for bed and looked up at where I keep my earrings and thought to myself I wanted to wear a specific pair tomorrow. But then was struck with a weird intrusive fear. These are traditional native beaded earrings. They are beautiful, a friend of mine who is part of a local tribe makes them and sells them for a living. It’s my favorite pair of earrings, I wear all the time. But I suddenly felt, idk worried or nervous? And I had the thought, what if someone gives me a hard time for wearing them because I don’t look native? Wtf kinda thought is that? I’ve never felt that way. So I stopped and tried to think why I would? And all I could come up with was that the next day I was starting a new job where I expected the environment to be judgemental. The area I live in can be racist towards native culture and people. But why would I suddenly care? Why should I think that suddenly of this new job? And where would this new fear come from? No clue honestly. Anyway the next day I got up and of course i wore my earrings. Work went fine and after work my husband and I went to a store. The cashier complimented my earrings and I said thank you! But she also mumbled something about me and said the word native. And I thought I heard her, but was like…no, she did not. So I kinda smiled and politely said thank you and that a lovely local woman made them (i will shamelessly promote local business always) and she kinda laughed and said ‘yeah, I didn’t think you made them. You don’t look native.’

Wtf is that? She said the exact words I had thought. This wasn’t something I dreamed. I was awake and thinking.

I was so shocked, speechless. I looked at my husband and I think he was just shocked by the comment because on its own, especially in her tone, it sounded judgemental and racist.

I’ve also always had really strong intuition. I actively tried to ignore it and shut those feelings down, all part of the religious indoctrination.

They teach you not to trust yourself, not to think for yourself. ‘Do not rely upon your own understanding’ so I have doubted my feelings my entire life. Now that it’s been almost a year since we have left the cult. I am learning to trust my mind and body. To trust the ‘little voice’ I always ignored before. And it’s brought me to wondering if I have some natural power or ability that I’ve just been actively repressing all of my life.

I had never even heard the word precognition until yesterday. This is all very new to me. Any tips would be greatly appreciate. I want to unlock my natural potential.

A year ago I was still telling myself none of this was real and reasoning that if it is, it’s all demonic in some sense. I have felt inherently bad my entire life and feared myself. Thank you Christianity!

Basically, I keep predicting the future, mostly through my dreams, but occasionally, my predictions are verbal. I dreamed about Chadwick Boseman’s death months before it happened, (crazy, right?) then one time in school, I predicted to my best friend that dark green would kill her in Among Us, and seconds later, dark green ended up killing her. During another Among Us game, I was like “What if (I forgot the colour🤦🏻‍♂️) was the impostor?” Then the person in question ended up killing her. Then I dreamed about my formal without even realising. Then I went to my formal and noticed everything I was doing resembled exactly what I did in my dream! Sorry if I’m ranting, I just wanted to say all this in case I did before, but forgot

So the other day we had a swarm of termites in our backyard. I tell my hubby and he immediately calls a mutual friend who does pest control for a living. He connects him with a guy that knows all about termites and plans to come by the following Monday to take a look. On Monday he calls and tells my hubby he’s doing a job that turned out to be bigger then expected is two hours from our house. My hubby says no prob can you come Tuesday he says sure. Tuesday by hubby works so he remind me that the termite guy will be here at 9am,ok cool. Well the night before I had a weird dream that I ran into an ex-boyfriend and I kept asking him, “why are you here?” I don’t remember his response but I asked more than once. When I woke up my first thought was, that’s so weird why in the world would I dream of an ex-boyfriend but oh well, ces’t la vie. Anyway, 9am on Tuesday rolls around and I start getting ready for my morning walk and then I remembered I was expecting the termite guy. I was getting annoyed because it was 9;30 and the guy still hadn’t showed up. Finally I hear the doorbell ring and the dogs started barking and I start shushing them and open the door. The guy starts introducing himself to me but I zone out. As I look in his eyes they seem so damn familiar and all of sudden he stops talking and then says- “I’m sorry do I know you? …. I feel like I know you..” At the same time we say each others name and then we just start screaming OMG! It’s YOU! No way! Guys this guy was my boyfriend in middle school and high school! I’m 42 years old and don’t talk to old school friends like that. It was the most random thing ever! This guy dumped me when I was 15 after dating 3 years because I wouldn’t put out. Lol! He was my first boyfriend ever but I knew I wasn’t “in love” and certainly wasn’t ready for sex. That day we actually talked about that and he apologized for being a dumb teenager and then we talked about what our lives had turned out to be. It was a genuine and nice conversation that we had. It turns out he met our mutual friend the same time we did! My hubby had a good laugh too, he was like- so now we summon exes in dreams do we? lol! My kids call me a witch because I randomly have dreams that somewhat come true and sometimes I can connect with ppl without me even trying, hard to explain. To be clear it was not the same boyfriend in my dream but the good news is we do NOT have termites. 😄

Hi guys. I was always a skeptic person but this has been happening for weeks now and I’m really curious about it. I have adhd so I’m always having multiple random thoughts at the same time. So it’s not new to me that out of nowhere I think “oh it’s been a while since I saw this person from high school” or something like that. But yeah these would happen frequently but it would just end there. Now for about a month ago, I get those random thoughts and then later that day or later that week I come across something related to that thought. But they are always unusual and random things, so it doesn’t make sense that they always pop up in my day-to-day. For instance, with that example of thinking about someone that was in my life years ago, I think about that person and then someone tells me that they have seen them, even though it was never an usual thing bc the person lives far away or something. Or another example, I think about a random word that I KNOW is not used frequently, nor by me neither by the people that surround me. And out of nowhere, someone uses that word or someone randomly asks “what is a word that would describe this?” And the best answer is that word that I thought about, which is a super uncommon word! Idk I’m sorry if this seems stupid and I wish I could explain it better (also, English is not my first language so I’m having a hard time explaining properly haha) But I really would like to know what ya’ll think about this or if you have any info that explains this. I googled it but I can’t find any proper explanation

I had a dream about a week ago about there being a mass shooting and then a large building covered in flames and exploding. My best friend sent me the news about the Moscow incident right after it happened, and was distraught and she said I saw it in my dreams. I later had a coworker call me a witch because of my dream and that I can predict things… I don’t like that it happens

So tonight I have dreamt that the state wich I am originally from was in terrible state because of heavy rains. I don't live there, and haven't lived for 16 years. So I never have much info from there, so tonight in my dream I was there, and there were many hills that suffered from erosion because of the rains, so house, trees and such were dragged down.

This morning I turn on the TV to see the news, and the whole region from this state is in emergency state because of the rains.

Before meeting an ex, I dreamt of him naked curled in fetal position in a pitch black void.

When I woke up, I was wondering how random this dream was and I dont know who that person was.

I usually dream of people I know, familiar faces.

4 years later, I met him. We got together & remembered that dream, it looked like him. He was that person.

I saw that 'dream' happened in reality too & it clicked it was really him - the features, body type.

He abused me emotionally, mentally and physically ~ a narcissist

I guess that dream was a precognition/premonition & that pitch dark void is a symbolism of his darkness and the trauma he was experiencing in life & it was waiting for me to experience it.

Do you think that there are coincidence or meaning behind this? *new to precognitions and premonitions/dejavus

As the title says, my aunt, my mother, and I, have all experienced dreams where we, either vaguely or down to the details, saw or predicted a future event.

I've only experienced this twice, both preceding the death of my grandmother in 2017. There have been no major deaths in my direct family since then. My mother has also experienced this regarding my grandmother, her mother's, death.

But my aunt? My aunt's dreams are SCARILY accurate. Narrating a story here. TW: Murder

My aunt dreamt that her mother went to to >!slit the neck!< of her fraternal niece (i.e. not me) with a kitchen utensil specific to our region of our country that resembles a kn1fe. The dream took place on the balcony of her ancestral home. The next morning, she received a message from her niece that her other niece, that is, my aunt's other fraternal niece, had chased her onto the balcony of the ancestral home with the same kitchen utensil, trying to slit her neck.

This is, of course, the most inexplicable of the lot. However, she's vividly dreamt the plot of a movie before its release and without watching any trailers or reading news about the movie too. Just wanted to share on here because it's so crazy!!

Hello so I had a dream that reoccured 3 times when I was 8,17,and 22. It was a dream where I was sitting at a table with a girl she was telling me "why would you want to be with me? See me for who I am. Humanize me, I'm flawed, lazy, selfish, procrastinate, ADHD, etc." and then the dream stops there. I didn't know who this woman was at the time until I met her at the age 25 when I was at that exact moment/ location with her. Every word she said was exactly how it was in the dream, wall colors, location, sound, look etc. But the question is, do you guys thinks it's a warning to avoid that person or is it sign to go towards her? Some thinks a warning and others think its a key from the spirits to open her heart/vulnerbility or something else in general.

I'm reaching out today because I need your help. I've been working super hard on this precognition project that means a lot to me. I've already invested a bunch of my own money, but some setbacks (ADHD, lingering COVID brain fog...) have put me behind. It sucks, but I'm NOT giving up!

Years ago my mom dated a girl from Iceland. I would have met her but was too young to remember really, but to this day my mom still says she came to her one night to say goodbye to her and that she had to leave, in a dream. There's actually written record of it, she wrote it down in a dream journal when she woke up. And later the same day, the girl's mom called her to say she'd been found dead that morning. Keep in mind, she was perfectly healthy.

Seeing as it was written down before my mom found out, and that she wasn't ill or anything, the only real explanation other than precognition is that it was a real extreme coincidence. I know my mom has always kept a dream journal though and has never had another one like this. The closest she did have was one that some actress died but she always said that one was really random and truly felt like a dream, whereas the precognition one was realistic and actually scary too.

It's only when we bring this up in conversation that I can really appreciate how extraordinary this is: It's not that uncommon for someone else to say "I had something similar happen to me too." One of them is a friend of my grandfather and is an agnostic, not really a big believer in anything paranormal and an all round rational person, and has admitted to having two such dreams, one with a neighbour and one with his brother. It seems far too common to be a coincidence. If it was just my mom, maybe I'd think it was, but with that many people I'm not so sure.

I know this sounds unbelievable and bizarre, and I doubt anyone will believe me. I expect replies to call me attention-seeking because that's what I would do if I were to read what I am about to write about. Anyways, I will just get on with it.

When I was about 4-5 years old, I had this vivid dream of being in a school I had never been in before, walking to our open cafeteria-type room. Essentially, the cafeteria reaches out to multiple other locations hosted in the school, such as a study hall, walls protecting it being a glorified trim, and a bunch of little cubicles with a simple overhead chandelier. In this dream, I walked through a long hallway with stairs leading downwards to get onto ground level, slowly passing all the cubicles. One of the main aspects of this dream that gives me the hint that the events will happen sometime next year is that I was about 5'10-5'11 in my dream. As of now, I am nearing the height of 5'10, so these events happening next year are realistically possible.

As I was nearly finished walking past the cubicles, the light emitted by the chandelier was dimming into a red color, and the other lights illuminating the room were shut off. Amid my confusion, I started hearing a female voice scream, followed by a bunch of loud footsteps and (I think) four gunshots. The sound of the bullets were very loud and very quick. I'm not a gun expert, so I don't want to go around throwing any theories about what the weapon of use was. In a pure fight or flight state, I threw myself over one of the cubicle walls and hid under its provided desk. About two seconds into sitting there, hiding, I woke up, not knowing what I had just witnessed. Mind you, I was four years old and had never seen/heard a gun in my life or had ever been informed of what a school shooting was.

If you're curious, which I doubt anyone is, the school has few windows. The school has an atrium with some windows to see inside, but inside classrooms or in the main room of the school where my dream took place, there are only a couple to be seen, aside from some of the doors having glass tops to see through. Why does the school have no windows? The leading architect who designed this school was a former low-security prison architect (yes, I googled it). I do not want to give too much information about the school's location, so this post doesn't circle back to my identity. However, I will say the school is in California.

If anyone cares, I'll provide more information about my experience with the school in the future

This isn't the first time this has happened to me but it is the most recent and most profound to date which has me freaking out. I make sandwiches for the homeless once a month and I ran out of the meat. My daughter was parked behind me so I took her car to a local Dollar General to get the meat. I usually drive a 2022 Gmc Yukon Denali so I usually back in to parking spots which I did this time, however my daughter's car is a 2015 Honda CRV. As I parked I saw the car in the parking spot in front of me, in a handicap spot and I said to myself they are going to back into this car. I went in got my stuff and as I reached the car BAM! That car backed into my daughter's car. I haven't had something so vivid and strong happen before. Maybe a fluke, maybe not, not sure what to think.

In my dream my landlord was standing outside of my home on the street next to her car. The car was full of luggage and belongings as if she were going on a long trip, or moving.

I went outside to greet her, and we hugged like old friends. I was fond of her in real life, but we weren't this close. We never interacted outside of landlord-tenant business. She put her hands on my shoulders, and smiled at me warmly.

I was then woken up to a knock at the door. I thought "wouldn't it be weird if that was her!?", then I remembered my dream and thought "oh no, it kind of seems like she might be dead...".

My husband was already awake so he answered the door. It was three of her siblings informing us that she had passed away, and they would be taking over her estate as landlords.

I was shocked, to say the least. This seemed like a scene from a cheesy 80s movie. I called my family and told them about what happened, my dad thinks she came to say goodbye. If I'm being honest I have a hard time believing this is a coincidence.

Rest in peace, kind woman. You were so caring towards me. She even bought my husband and I a bottle of wine after we got married. I wish I had gotten to know her better.

I have had precognitive dreams a few times, but I primarily experience precognition while I am fully awake. I either have visions of future events or future knowledge comes into my mind at random times. Still other times, I actively pursue future knowledge while I am fully awake and ask questions that are answered. Does anyone else have a similar experience?

I vividly remember said dreams, but haven't had them since my early teens. All of them were literal, first person, non-interactive, all 5-senses, precognitive dreams. The first was maybe 8-10 seconds long, and occured about 2 weeks later, but as time went on, they became shorter and less frequent. They were never of any real importance, and there was never really enough information to determine a specific time period before occurence, aside from general time of day and season. I've had no other precognitive experiences since then whatsoever; the ones from my early childhood are the only ones I've ever had. I'm posting here because I'd like to know:

1. If there are others who've had the exact same type of precognitive dreams before, and their own experiences with them
2. If they've had any luck getting them to happen again, and if so, how

I don't have any illusions of them being useful if I can get them to happen again, but they were nice to have. I miss them, and if it's possible, I'd like to have them again.

Despite hosting AMAs with esteemed authors such as Julia Mossbridge, a recent examination of her strong advocacy for unconditional love raises concerns about the credibility of her research. Julia's bias towards unconditional love, while inherently positive, becomes a blind spot that can be exploited by those with hidden agendas.

This is exemplified by the inclusion of a member in Julia's group, whose online presence is tainted with bigotry and misinformation. Although she links to precognition-related tweets, her hateful rhetoric undermines the community's integrity. The dynamic between Julia and this member highlights the peril of authors acting as centrists, providing a platform for individuals who may agree with them but harbor ulterior motives.

Julia's lack of thorough research is evident in her failure to acknowledge the darker side of individuals within her community. While unconditional love is a noble concept, it should not serve as a shield against critical examination. This oversight allows individuals with questionable motives to thrive within the community, compromising its credibility and fostering an uncomfortable environment for those who notice the incongruities.

It's crucial to recognize that unconditional love, while a valuable principle, has little direct correlation with precognition. If we expect rigorous research on topics like precognition, we should also demand a thorough examination of the sociological dynamics occurring within our own communities. Remaining blind to hidden agendas and biases only weakens the pursuit of truth and fosters an atmosphere of mistrust.

Our community must remain vigilant against the infiltration of hate and misinformation, lest we regress into obscurity. Let us prioritize scientific integrity and critical thinking, fostering an environment where genuine inquiry thrives and misinformation withers.

I worked as a 911 operator and police dispatcher for 3 years. During that brief job, I learned that I had precognition among other gifts and used that advantage to save innocent lives. In one case, I warned an officer I worked with who was a high school resource officer to watch over the school even more so than usual on a particular day because I had a very bad feeling that something was going to happen. He listened and he was able to stop a subject carrying a firearm and a large knife who was attempting to enter the school that day. He had them in cuffs before anyone called or even saw. I know that it can be difficult, and many are afraid to sound crazy, but when lives can be saved it is well worth the effort and risk. I would much rather sound crazy than know something that could prevent the loss of life and say nothing. When we are correct, they no longer see us as crazy. Any thoughts or similar experiences among you out there?

I have had a couple precognitive things happen this year so far. The first is lengthier so I’ll do the one that just happened tonight cause it sounds weird and I just want to type it out. I was driving home from work around 3am(I dj in a strip club). Stone cold sober, I don’t drink when I’m working. I often go thru scenarios in my head and sometimes play out conversations. So I’m alone on the road and the speed limit it 35 and I slow down to about 30. I contemplate turning my brights on even though it’s not really a place where I would need them cuz it’s pretty well lit. Then I have a conversation in my head with a police officer who would have pulled me over because I had my brights on, and my response was “well there could be a coyote crossing the road or something so I have my brights on”. Half a mile later a coyote runs in front of my car. Far enough ahead I slowed and was not close to hitting him. But shit. Really? Is that weird or am I just tired?
