Will there be a Portland Winter Ale Festival in Pioneer Square this holiday season? Did it get canceled indefinitely?
Hey all! I buy the beers and run a tap takeover every second Sunday at a food cart pod. February's is the same day as the Superbowl. Normally, we only carry beers and ciders of the PNW. Do you have any suggestions for a possible theme or style for that tap takeover that also works well with the Superbowl? My initial idea is to have a handful of beers from the cities/states of the two contenders and list them as those teams beers. Any other ideas?
Hi all, I'll be visiting Portland soon and I'm looking for recommendations for breweries that produce smoothie beers. So far I found Great Notion and Oakshire, but hoping to learn about more! Thanks in advance!
Heading to Bend this weekend. Am used to all the regular good spots (Sunriver Brewing, Boss Rambler, Crux)
Anything new or different that I should check out?
Hey, curious if anyone has experience with any of the local(ish) bottle and/or mug clubs? Particularly those that include events, so it's not just a matter of buying beer in bulk or getting a larger pour size.
I've seen offerings from Pfriem, Wolves and People, Little Beast (discontinued?), Hopworks, Steeplejack...
Hello fellow beer lovers, I am curious if anyone knows the best place to find the values of some craft beers? I have some aged beers from Bottle Logic, The Bruery, etc. that I am trying to sell but have no idea if any of these beers have value or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Corey
I didn't manage to get in for the presale for the next release, and I'm trying to get a few bottles for friends coming into town soon. PM me if you're interested, I have lots of Sante Adairius and some other goodies. Thanks!
Hello all. I'm visiting from Vancouve, BC this week. Wondering which breweries to check out, particularly for an IPA and stout drinker. Thanks in advance!
I know it's early still, but can anyone recall a local bar that's might have this on cask? Still drooling over the one I had two years ago at the Brick Store in Decatur, GA.
Doing the sober October thing this month but also want to watch football with my crew. Any sports bars in Portland with a decent non alcoholic beer on tap?
sorry if this has been asked before but i can't find recent answers --
visiting portland in a few weeks and i'm excited to visit some breweries, but most of the group i'm going with aren't huge beer drinkers. any breweries that also have a bar/serve cocktails? what are your favorite spots?
We’re excited to announce that all Portland Breweries, Taprooms/Bottle Shops, Bars/Lounges/Pubs, Arcade Bars, Cideries, Distilleries, Meadery, Coffee Shops and Homebrewing Stores have been added to the app, with a fresh new user interface!
We’re in the final stages of making updates and additions before officially submitting the new app name and icon to the App Stores.
If you want to be among the first to try it out, you can download the app from the Apple or Google Play stores under the current name Oregon Coast Craft Beer Trail:
• Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/nz/app/oregon-coast-craft-beer-trail/id1577993796
• Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fhmsol.tp.occbt&hl=en_US&gl=US&pli=1
I look forward to the community’s feedback as we continue to improve and refine the app!
Additionally, I’ve included a mock-up of The Oregon Beer Trail app:
Cheers!

While waiting on my app developer to finish the Portland & Oregon Coast Beer Trails app, I decided to finally finish the Oregon brewery guide I've been working on for the past couple years that covers ALL 317+Breweries in the state as well as 92+ Tap Rooms/Bottle Shops, 7 Home Brewing Supply Stores as well as all regional Beer Trails/guides. I also included breweries just over the border in Washington, Idaho and California: https://www.theoregonbeertrail.com/
Our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theoregonbeertrail?igsh=MXA5aWwzeDQ2MHo5Zw==
I'm sure I missed a few breweries so if you notice any missing, feel free to let me know and I will add them!
I'm already working on an app that we plan on releasing in February with an interactive map and the Oregon Pint Passport which will be packed full of discounts on beer at participating breweries.
I will also be using this guide to help promote the Oregon Beer Summit which will be a multi day beer fest/industry conference held next Fall in Portland featuring beer from every brewery in the state!
Cheers!

My girlfriend and I found some Cascade Brewing sours at a bottle shop we frequent after them not having any for the months following Cascade’s close. Any word about a possible reopen?
Hola todos,
Couple buddies and I planned on attempting this last year and were skunked when we went to buy tickets about an hour after tickets went up for sale. Had no idea they were so limited/so sought after. Anyone have any experience successfully buying tickets to the Dark Arts Festival and have any tips? Is this a get in the moment it opens situation (what I'm planning for this year)? Not try to step on anyones morels here, but I'm an Astoria native and huge Fort George fan who's never been and would love the opportunity!
Cheers, J
Always loved this spot and their beers, bummer to see they're leaving.
Hi all! I have quite a list of breweries to visit over the next two days, but I was wondering if there are any can’t miss beers on tap at the moment - I understand we’re in Fresh Hop season! TIA!
Edit: Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! Added stops and updated specifics to try. Can’t wait!
Edit 2: Wow, the beer knocked my socks off!! I’m so sad to be home. Made it to Grand Fir, Loyal Legion, Rogue, Living Haus, Baerlic, BeerMongers, Great Notion, Brujos, Breakside, and Treebeerd’s.
My personal favorite pours: Great Notion’s Fresh Hop Ripe (actually returned next day to have more), Double Mountain Peche Cuvée at Loyal Legion, and Brujos’s Red Communion. Bartleby at Living Haus was one of the most interesting beers I’ve tried - my first experience with the style and was surprised at the amount of flavor in such a low abv
Has anyone tried the new Kirkland’s 2024 Vintage Ale at Costco, brewed by Deschutes? Any thoughts?
Where around downtown has started to pour fresh hops on draft? I know not everyone has released theirs yet.
I'll be roadtripping to Seattle then The Gorge then back to Portland next weekend. Any recommendations for breweries/shops on that route?
Extra credit: Recommendations for places near T-Mobile Park before a Mariners game. Thanks!
