Sorry if this isn’t the place to post but anyone know where I can sell my dark arts ticket (all day)? My brother can’t make it so I don’t need it. Asking $116 which is what I paid for it.
I worked at John’s Market for a couple of years. 2015 was a couple of years after the sellout, but BCS was still in demand. Our allocation was always the largest in the PNW. How? Selling 1/6’s of Goose Island IPA for $38 year round helped a lot. lol. Sell more IPA, get more BCS.
It worked. For any OG beer geeks in the PDX scene, yea… that’s George DiMeo.
Miss those days!
Cheers!
P.S. I’m now in Buffalo and at a local joint (Pizza Plant) having a 2024 Vanilla Rye Stout. Tasty.
Welp, I missed my alarm and missed tickets by 20 minutes. Posting this here in hopes that someone bought extra tickets, or that if your plans change, you reach out to me!
Thanks in advance :)
I am a massive fan of John's Marketplace. A long time patron. But i sometimes errands and commitments have me on sides of town nowhere near a Johns marketplace. Does anyone know of good bottle shops in the above mentioned areas?
Does anyone here know if anyone is looking into purchasing the old HW plant? I walk past it daily and it is such a cool building. Think the brewing equipment is still inside? I know HW closed back in 2003-2004 ish so I’m sure it’s long gone. The silos are still intact from the looks of things. 12th st tavern menus are still on the tables.
I have some vintage Bridgeport stuff that dates back to the old Bridgeport, back when you sat at long picnic tables in a warehouse. Before it was Pearl’ized.
Items I have:
I’d love to find someone that truly misses Bridgeport to have these for free, located in inner NE Portland.
Confess your love for Bridgeport and I’ll pick a winner. Bonus points for any nostalgic triggers.
Edit that I attempted to include a photo, but am apparently not smart enough to do that with the tools Reddit provides. (Damn I miss Apollo)
Edit 11/19/2024 - I was giving a bit more time to bake, will make some decisions on how to distribute the items. Gonna be tricky, but glad good homes will be found.
not as bad as last time this list posted and somehow Brewery 26 is still not done.
Mostly Oregon stuff but a few from elsewhere.
Free, but I would love a bottle of stout.
Driving through Portland tomorrow and looking to have lunch and a beer. Would like some place easy to access and can have a 5 month old in!
Update went to Prost because of the food trucks and it was great
Anyone know a good place to look for new releases in one location? I'm on Instagram but unless I'm religiously scrolling I miss a lot.
I'm a bit late to the party but tried to go to Lents bottle shop twice last month and saw a posting about a license, figured it'd be back but saw it's permanently closed.
Anyone know what happened?
Will there be a Portland Winter Ale Festival in Pioneer Square this holiday season? Did it get canceled indefinitely?
Hey all! I buy the beers and run a tap takeover every second Sunday at a food cart pod. February's is the same day as the Superbowl. Normally, we only carry beers and ciders of the PNW. Do you have any suggestions for a possible theme or style for that tap takeover that also works well with the Superbowl? My initial idea is to have a handful of beers from the cities/states of the two contenders and list them as those teams beers. Any other ideas?
Hi all, I'll be visiting Portland soon and I'm looking for recommendations for breweries that produce smoothie beers. So far I found Great Notion and Oakshire, but hoping to learn about more! Thanks in advance!
Heading to Bend this weekend. Am used to all the regular good spots (Sunriver Brewing, Boss Rambler, Crux)
Anything new or different that I should check out?
Hey, curious if anyone has experience with any of the local(ish) bottle and/or mug clubs? Particularly those that include events, so it's not just a matter of buying beer in bulk or getting a larger pour size.
I've seen offerings from Pfriem, Wolves and People, Little Beast (discontinued?), Hopworks, Steeplejack...
Hello fellow beer lovers, I am curious if anyone knows the best place to find the values of some craft beers? I have some aged beers from Bottle Logic, The Bruery, etc. that I am trying to sell but have no idea if any of these beers have value or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Corey
I didn't manage to get in for the presale for the next release, and I'm trying to get a few bottles for friends coming into town soon. PM me if you're interested, I have lots of Sante Adairius and some other goodies. Thanks!
Hello all. I'm visiting from Vancouve, BC this week. Wondering which breweries to check out, particularly for an IPA and stout drinker. Thanks in advance!
I know it's early still, but can anyone recall a local bar that's might have this on cask? Still drooling over the one I had two years ago at the Brick Store in Decatur, GA.
Doing the sober October thing this month but also want to watch football with my crew. Any sports bars in Portland with a decent non alcoholic beer on tap?
