04 GTO Auto

Just out of curiosity, how much would you guys pay for an 04 GTO with 218k miles that runs and drives very well with cosmetic issues (rough paint, torn seats, things of that nature) Thanks!

02 firebird v6, 4l60e question.

I have 75,860 miles on the car, and i think my torque converter is going out? It has issues shifting and its hard shifts at low rpm, but smooth at 2,500-3,500. Then when i put my foot on the gas pedal it feels a little vibration, but stops if i just remain at certain speeds. Then just acceleration feels a little slow in general, then i rough idle at low speeds 0-15mph. A few months ago ( around 70,000miles) it got up to speed super quick and had no problems at all. When i started getting pass around 73,000miles is which the issue started.

Does anyone know someone who tunes Pontiac G6 base models and/or does custom exhaust work?

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 3.5L V6 and I am looking for both someone who is able to tune my car as well as a fabricator who can make a catless downpipe for my car. If anyone knows anyone or can do it themselves please let me know.

Bought my first car and I was wondering if anyone can help me with info about the engine

I just bought a 1980 Buick century with a 4.3 liter Pontiac v8 in it and am looking for as much info on the engine I can find. Pretty much all I was able to find is that it was only made in 80 and 81 and that it's fairly rare

Oil pump

I've got a 428 big block that hasn't ran in 25+ years. I want to prime the oil system before turning it over. Will a SBC distributor fit in this 428 or are they different? I can get my hands on a junk 350 distributor i can cut up and make into a oil pump drive for a drill. Just curious if this will work.

1977-1978 Pontiac Type K Sports Wagon concept. Two-door station wagon and hinged rear side windows that opened upwards in gull-wing fashion.

In search of my lost love.....

So I'm throwing myself on the mercy of REDDIT and praying in the name of whatever God is controlling pontiac community algorithm. I'm in search of a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix STE non turbo, but I'm not that picky. I had a this car and it was totalled and I'd really like to get another one to store and drive in the summers. Please respond with any info or help you can throw my way.. thanks to everyone who reads and responds.

1992 Grand prix

Anyone know any aftermarket mods for this car? Any leads would be appreciated.
Mainly looking for some decent coilovers.
Any info on a RWD swap would be great as well.

Thanks

I miss my gxp…

I miss my car so much. Silver GXP 2007, bought it new with like 15 miles that I put on it. Anyone remember that it had a hidden “stealth” mode if you pushed the center console dial and all the interior lights would black out? Pontiac was 🔥 My friend has a gtp coupe in HS, god bless his soul.

Bought a uswd1978 Pontiac Firebird

(Because I'm on mobile trying to do anything is a pain, you will have to see the pic in my first post on r/classiccars)

It currently looks different that what the picture is, but that's because I never thought about taking ant pictures of it, too busy overthinking everything.

it was an impulse buy, it was obviously a former project car, but the guy sold it to me for 3500 and it has a damn near new engine (not the original one for a 1978.) The main issue is that I know fuck all about cars nor the money to properly restore it, straight up just bought the car because I love the shape of the 1970s bodies of cars. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to cars in almost every way, like what to pay attention to, what needs to be removed/changed, or where the hell to get the parts for it.

I have no clue what I got myself into. (I'll see about posting an up-to-date picture soon)

Replacing G8 GT brake light

One of my brake lights is out, and I'm finding conflicting information on Google about it.

Can I just replace the bulb, or is this one of those where I have to replace the entire housing?

If it's just the bulb, any idea of the part number so I can order from Amazon?

Why did Pontiac die? The truth Pt 1

My name is Devon Xavier Beck, Founder of Pontiac Motor company. Long story short. I’ve been enamored with the brand since I got my first Grand Prix in 2010. I was 18 years old and couldn’t impact the world how I can today at 33. I love the history of the brand,

How John Z. Delorean made the GTO and used Pontiac to teach underprivileged kids in Detroit neighbor hoods. Read his book “on a clear day you can see General Motors” great read.

How Bill Mitchell the lead designer for most of “old GM” history, for his last car designed a Pontiac Phantom - like a bat mobile or something.

How the Oakland brand which became Old Pontiac always had a seat right above Chevrolet.

How in terms of GM sales Pontiac was the youngest and still outsold Cadillac, Oldsmobile, hummer, Saturn, and GMC.

Slotted 3rd behind Chevy and Buick. One of the few brands that had an entire American City named after it. So much that the loop on Woodward in downtown Pontiac became widetrack lane.

So let’s do a deep dive into this iconic brand and learn a valuable lesson as to why the federal government should Never influence Private industry.

Stay tuned - DXB

2006 GTO with only 200 miles

Picked up a 2006 GTO 6-speed that has just under 200 miles on it. Still has the window sticker and tags on it. Any idea what this might be worth? Thanks for your help.
