This is a subreddit for articles, videos, and discussions about police brutality. We aren't out to say all police are evil (though personal opinions of users may vary), we want to highlight the bad cops and make people more aware of them to spread positive change.

An overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers are good, honest, law abiding people. Unfortunately, some aren't.

Rules:

  1. No doxxing (see sticky)

  2. All posts must be related to police brutality.

  3. Reposts should not be less than 6 months old.

  4. Be polite to one another. No harassment, bullying or racism. It is okay to have disagreements, but be cordial.

  5. Text posts are not allowed.

  6. Moderators can remove posts at their discretion.

Dementia Patient Arrested in Walmart as his Wife Shops #shorts

I'm getting so sick of seeing these types of things happen all over the country. There has GOT to be more mental health training for Law Enforcement. It will protect citizens & will save such LEOs in the long run because I doubt qualified immunity is going to get them out of trouble for this eggregiousness.

DEMENTIA PATIENT ASSAULTED IN MY HOMETOWN

You may have seen the story, but if not I will link it below. A couple months ago, TJ Godbey, an officer with Danville DP in Kentucky, brazenly and brutally assaulted a poor man suffering from dementia. The report was falsified, and the incident was kicked under the rug. That is, until the man’s family hired the towns best lawyer, and he uncovered the truth.

The video came out last week, and the officer was seen in uniform today. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. I’m trying my best to get the community fired up about this, but it seems many are taking it lying down. Any help, shares, or coverage would be appreciated.

Here’s the news segment:

Here’s ‘The Civil Rights Lawyer’ covering it on yt:
