finally got around to reading gen 8 after putting it off for along time (really didnt care for how gen 7 wrapped and just hadnt read SwSh

and man, it weirdly works WAY better than it should have

Hop/Bede/Marnie feel alot better balanced screentime wise, and while not shockingly deep, feel better rounded as a whole

Sword/Sheild arn't like PEAK protags or anything, but i enjoyed them quite alot, and Sword not giving af about being a peak pokemon player was really nice, we hadnt really seen that since Silver

but the real star was Magnolia, like wow, she actually got to be a character, a fun one at that, and Sonia felt like a good side character, but had her play more w the adults which worked really nicely, never liked how she basically made Magnolia redundant

Marvin...Marvin....Marvin, i get they don't like making original characters anymore, but slapping a generic trainer class just feels wrong, kinda wish he at least had a funny last name like Crown/Armor (get it cuz dlc)

speaking of DLC, honestly didnt hate how they did it, felt alot better done than every 3rd version outside Yellow PERSONALLY

and they didn't shove every single legendary into the manga just because, something that really hurt BW2 and Plat ESP

overall, was just a really pleasent time, excited for the full volume releases... in like 2030 LOL

This is the First Time I Saw Someone Cursing İn The Pokespe

As you all know, most of the female dexholders, specifically 5-8, have been done dirty a lot, not giving enough time to shine or get character development compared to the male dexholders

Specifically, whi-two, Y, moon, and schilly

Although back then, it did always focus on the male characters since rbg arc, but they at least gave the female dexholders 1-4, proper screen time, for character development and change for the better back then, my favorite examples is blue(f) and platinum

But now in recent arcs, they tend focus on the male dexholders, by giving them more screen time and putting the girls on the sides

Though now, with new dexholders, scarlet and violet, from what I've seen, they are giving scarlet and violet proper screen times on how they are doing with their adventure and how they are progressing in achieving their goals

I know it's still early to say this since we don't know what Hidenori Kusaka(the creator of pksp) has in store for scarlet and violet, but I do believe he will give them both proper development in the future and will give them both focus and not put scarlet on the sides compared to the whi-two, Y, moon and schilly
