I was looking for podcasts and found The Peralta Papers (Spotify link: https://open.spotify.com/show/4tMCcsI2aKqbCByWHTmReX?si=K212_WyQSJeUeoShRv640w). This is a podcast that's basically the series in pure audio form. I so love the series that's why I was so happy when I found this. I love this so much because this serves as my white noise when working, I also don't get distracted, unlike when I actually stream the show as I work. Do you have recommendations for other podcasts similar to this? No deep dive or interviews, just the actual show in audio form. Thank you!
I'm currently working on adding subtle, professional animations to a podcast project for a raw dog food brand. The podcast is filmed using webcams, so the visuals alternate between:
- Single shot of the host
- Single shot of the guest
- Dual screen of both host and guest
I’ve already created an animated background, but now I want to include small Call-to-Action animations at the bottom of the screen. These would direct viewers to 'learn about natural treatments below' 'Subscribe to the podcast' 'Check out our product' etc.
Does anyone know of any podcasts or videos currently doing these sort animations I can take reference from? Or any tutorials for this style of graphic?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance!
I'm looking for a podcast that's either on YouTube or Spotify that's free and is mostly about fantasy stuff, fantasy books, games, shows, movies ect, stuff that basically lightens your mood and gives you positive thoughts but is also interesting.
Or if there is a free podcast app than that's also okay.
I am looking for a men’s grooming and hygiene product affiliate program. I’d like something like Sasquatch or Duke Cannon but not as big. Also not looking to make commission per say, more like a partnership I guess, like they send me products to review or try and I give my opinion on them on my podcast, I promote their product on my social media and give them a live commercial on every episode, and they promote my show on their social media.
Anyone know about anything like this?
Hi everyone! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the biggest challenges you face when managing your podcast. Specifically, I’m curious about the marketing and operational side, such as: • Creating promotional content for social media • Writing summaries and captions for episodes • Writing emails to promote your podcast • Creating SEO-heavy blog posts to drive website traffic • Sharing assets with guests to promote the episode • Losing time coordinating with guests to ensure everything is aligned
What’s taking the most time, or feels like the hardest part to manage?
Looking forward to hearing your experiences—thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Christopher

Hello I recently had a few recoding that ran for a long time (I underestimated how.long it would take to discuss a 64 entry tourney) and I have large wav files I need to convert into mp3 so i can edit them down, does anyone know of any sites apps or programs that would be useful in doing so?
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say i miss listening to Riyoko's voice and story telling style. I just love it!!. I tried other podcasts but no even a single podcast can compare to her no offense to other its my personal preference i just love hers. I would really like it if she continues but i guess it's been so long ........
I am looking for recs for two cameras for my podcast. I want something affordable that gives good quality video with either a backscreen or app to set up position/zoom. They need to be able to record for 60+ minutes. Cameras will be stationary and need to be able to attach to a tripod. We don't want webcams. One will be on my co-host and the other on me. I'd prefer to not spend more that $160 per camera. We are just beginning and really only want the videos for snippets for our social media/branding. This is the last piece of equipment we need. I've watched a bunch of videos for recs as well as searching the web, but I'd love to know what you are using.
Edit: Thank you for the suggestions, guys. I found a camcorder for $160 that does what I need. We've tested it out, and the quality is great.
With 2025 starting, we are wanting to have more guests on our podcast. What recommendations do you have for finding guests, or who would you recommend?
I talked to someone with experience in podcasting and she seemed to think that networking and word of mouth is the best way to get listeners and that social media doesn't work that well. Is she correct, if she's not correct is there a rule of thumb re how often you should post on social media?
I want to celebrate ordinary. Who defines ordinary ? Why is ordinary critized so much? I am tired with all the fake influencers with their fancy content and huge following. I don't connect with most of them and the others just overwhelm me. There is something very beautiful about the grit and ambition of ordinary lives striving for more.
I want to have conversations with people like me, who don't always get what they want. We are told No often. We pick ourselves up and bounce back. We are still on our journeys, is it important that we reach a particular destination or a milestone before we talk about our struggles and lessons?
We don't have to be perfect to be beneficial.
I am looking at setting up a Patreon for my podcast network. But trying to figure out how to help my other show host with just one Patreon. Any help much appreciated 🙏.
I want to create a podcast that focuses on spiritual and healing practices without referencing a specific deity. I plan to discuss topics like mindfulness, personal growth, meditation, energy work, and overall wellness. What title do you feel would be most fitting?
Hello, I have had a podcast for 3 months I am currently only Audi and using riverside to edit. We want to start recording video as well but i do not even know where to start. rightnow i have my iPhone 12, a tripod and lighting so I will be recording on my phone until I can afford something better. I can upload the footage to my computer to edit. My issue is I have no idea how to record Audio and video and the same time and really can’t find any helpful resources online, I also am unsure of how I would edit both, does the Audio sync up with the video? If so that seems like it would be very difficult to edit lol Any resources or advice is very appreciated!
Hey, I was wondering how do I invite guests to my podcast when it's brand new? I want to invite women who lost weight to share their journeys and inspire others. Any advice? So far I tried reaching people on tiktok and instagram but no one seems to care.
I do some podcasts for my clients, they have their own vision how to look that, not same vision as mine, but I'll do my best to make it to be any good. (And this is not something I am best at). So I have some rectangle studio but not walls on 90°, its close to it. I have big desk in room/studio, and they want to sit like on pics. What are the best postitions for those cameras I have, and my biggest problem how to place and setup lights?
That sound like all problems some creator can have :)
I try to google it, ask ChatGPT, but most of time there are studios not like mine, Google just don't show me real stuff, or I have wrong lights and lenses :)
Maybe I am just too much self-critical.
And I am an idiot when every day start new podcast recording, IDK why but i got some ideas sometimes to exposure not look the best so change settings and some episodes don't looks as others.
Do you have some rule for me to look at it everytime I come to work? :)
I counted in 2 XLR mics, 1 audio interface, 2 headphones, 2 pop filters, and 1 headphone amplifier. Every episode is an interview with someone new, and I hope to do this in person instead of remotely. As a beginner, maybe remotely is the affordable and smart choice?
Samsun Q2 for Mics, Scarlett for audio, Audio Technica for headphones, and idek which amplifier to buy bc the Behringer is not available.

I grabbed a few songs off of Pond 5 to use as an intro, but while the licence says that I can use them on YouTube… it doesn’t mention Spotify - is that going to be an issue?
Also, can I just hack up these songs and rearrange them a bit for the intro? I only like parts of these selected tracks…
Cheers!
Hiya not sure if this is the right place to ask this but can I create a podcast on Spotify where I just read short stories?
They will be my own short stories I made.
