Hey all,
As my title reads, I’m looking for some critique on my podcast. I’ve been at it since June, we’re about to release our 42nd episode and I just feel like growth is pretty slow. It’s a MMA podcast, so any and all critique is welcomed on any areas I can improve to help us start some actual growth.
I can’t figure out how to post the link without my post getting taken down, but my YouTube channel is PandaMMANews
Hey everyone! I recently found out about the awesome Rate and Review Swap and am excited to dive in. But as I was going through the list, I realized: it’s tough to give a truly honest review for podcasts I’m not genuinely into. I feel like for this to work well, the reviews need to be real and thoughtful – which, for me, means finding shows that actually catch my interest.
Here’s a quick rundown of the types of topics I enjoy. If your podcast aligns with these, let me know! I’ll happily check it out and leave a review that’s more than just surface-level.
Topics I’m Into:
What I’m Not Into:
If your show matches up, drop a comment! I’m looking forward to discovering some gems and leaving honest reviews.

I'm looking for a relatable, cosy and funny podcast about UK and European monarch history from the Middle ages, Medieval period, the Tudors, and onwards.
And I mean the holiday, not the movies.
I am starting a podcast about a girl getting her voice back after a hacking incident and will include mental health talk, personal struggles, random coincidences and the love of music. I'd like to play a song from an independent artist and go over the lyrics, dedicating entire episodes to them with links to buy and support them. Some artists have very little following. I did get a lot of artists saying I could use their music just by asking them straight up on social media. But, especially since some are on spotify, will it get flagged and taken down? Should I just read the lyrics at least and link the music? (I am able to do that much right?) What if there's 2 people on the song, do I need everyone to say Yes? I have been knee deep in learning and just as confused as when I started or it sounds like it will cost me a lot of money. I am broke and doing this with little to no funds so I can't afford to speak to a lawyer. Any help is appreciated!
Hello! I want to listen to podcasts from which I can learn something new, but also practice my english listening (I am taking the C1 Cambridge Exam) I want to be captivated and make a habit by listening to podcasts. I had a good podcast that I was listening to, but it's in my native language, so it doesn't help me with the english practice. I really like psychology and what happens with our brain in different situations, but also physics, I am very interested in everything about this domain. Can you give me some suggestions?
I used to listen to the old episodes of the Mark Forward podcast (with Eric Andrews) every couple of years when I was feeling nostalgic. This time, when I go to listen to them, I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Probably a long shot, but does anyone know where I can find all of the old episodes? I tried Archive.org, but I might just be dumb or something. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Apologies if this isn’t allowed.
If you could only listen to one podcaster before you died would you choose to listen to Joe Rogan or Alex Cooper?

I just listened to a podcast on Apple podcast on my iphone and they also had the video episode on there, so I was able to watch the episode. It's the first time I've seen that on Apple podcast. My question is: Is that a youtube video linked to the Apple Podcast episode? Does it count at listens on Apple Podcast or video views in Youtube (if it's a youtube linked video)? Has anyone uploaded or linked videos to Apple Podcast?
I need to practice my english. I can hear and understand most of it, but not everything. Do you have any podcasts you can recommend that have slow English, that is, not so native, that would make it easier to understand?
They’re actually starting to drive me nuts. I get that podcasters need to make a buck so they have live reads and ads. Fine. But I don’t want to deal with even more ads that my app is placing during episodes. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m currently using Pocket Casts and I like its features but I don’t want to hear more ads.
I was reading about this tragic story about Sewell Setzer’s recent incident and my heartfelt condolences to his family :(

SPOILERS BELOW
I spent an hour trying to find an episode of a podcast I’ve listened to but I couldn’t find anything 😭 Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the details, but I think it was something like this: a man down on his luck (drunk, drugged, broke, something along those lines) goes to stay at some crusty hotel where he gets a phone call from a young girl. Every so often she calls back, and it starts to help his mental health improve. Each time she calls, it’s been longer for her than it has been for him, and the calls continue for a few months until she’s grown. I don’t remember how it ends exactly, but it turns out that she was his daughter the whole time. If it helps, the main story podcasts I listen to are Lighthouse Horror Podcast and Full Body Chills, but it’s possible this episode is from a different one. It’s also possible that this isn’t even from a podcast idk😭😭 Please help!!
Hey everyone!
I’m super interested in the podcasting space and would love to connect with anyone who’s hosting or co-hosting their own show. I’d love to hear about your journey—what inspired you to start, what your experience has been like, and any insights you might be willing to share.
I’m especially into topics around music, film, TV, books, or really anything that sparks great conversation. In return, I’d be happy to support your podcast however I can, whether that’s following, listening, or sharing it with others.
If you’re up for a chat, feel free to send me a DM!
Hello I am new to this community and just curious how exactly do podcasters in general create youtube clips? Like specifically clips that can range anywhere from 5-20+ minutes, so for example my friend has a podcast and I have been in charge of doing the clips on youtube and I go back and watch the entire episode then once I hear a funny/interesting story or conversation I create time stamps in my notes for when it started and ended (topic switches to something else) and then clip that from the full episode and add a little clips outro with a link to another clip and the full episode. I am just curious is this the best and only way of creating podcast clips for youtube or is there a far better more efficient way I am not thinking of? Just curious cause I know consistency is key for social media content and want to be working not only hard but smart, any answers or advice is greatly appreciated thank you!!!
My previous startup just sold for about $70M (I was top performer but not a founder, made peanuts on acquisition); it’s a podcast app that delivers gated professional development content.
They sell B2B and have a ton of crazy logos as customers, anyways looking to copy their idea and sell to a different vertical.
App would need to host audio and some visual content. Track listening and some integrations.

Hello everyone!
With the new funnel chart on Spotify for Podcasters, we now have better insights into our click-through rates (CTR), which is really helpful for identifying areas where we can improve. One easy change I'm considering is removing the intro from my episodes.
Currently, I start every episode with the same 40-second intro, which includes a podcast introduction, a short song, and then the content begins. Now that I think about it, 40 seconds might be too long.
So, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Do you include an intro in your podcast? If so, why? Do you think it's better to dive straight into the topic, or does an intro help new listeners know what to expect?
And what about the outro? Should the episode end as soon as it's done, or do you think having a closing song adds something?
Thanks in advance for your input!
