I have trichotillomania but something very odd is happening. I have been pulling out hairs about a foot or two long from my nasal passages for about a year, and they just won’t stop. It’s like coaxing them out, they aren’t attached they are loose and can slide out. No matter how many I remove there are always more, I could do this all day long and it wouldn’t end ever. The only thing that comes up when I google this is an old Japanese horror story and I’m lowkey freaking out and don’t even know how to address this with a doctor. I sound crazy but it is definitely real. Does anybody know what the heck this is?!
These were driving me crazy for awhile-felt good to get them out
From my beard on my jawline. Plucked the same spot before. Couldn’t even feel it being plucked.
Gross, but satisfying.
The top part was starting to grow out of the skin. I think the really thick black mass is a dead hair bulb that was stuck under the skin and was pushed out by the new hair.
Grody
I had a massive incision from a hysterectomy and healing up pretty nicely, except for what I thought was a little scab that just wouldn’t heal so I tried to pick it out. It turned out to be the knot of a dissolvable stitch. It slipped right out with zero resistance.
