Is there a cluster for ASA that's small tribes, trying to find one for me and my buddies?

Ive played and watched ark for a long time but i still dont know. Is there a way i can do “split all” on a stack of stuff (for example meat)? I know its possible for pc but is it possible for ps4 (ase)

I usually use wiki.gg, and I’m wondering if there’s still anything useful on the fandom site. I’ve also seen people referring to dododex, is it better? Worse? What’s the difference between them? I’m playing evolved if that matters

Does anybody have some settings that make Annunaki Genesis balanced? I just tamed a Parasaur and put a single level into health and it's health went from 5k to 10k on a single level. Does anybody have the settings to make this balanced and to make the mod actually challenging, because I can already kill a ton of dinos on only my Parasaur and it seems a bit unfair.

Sometimes, while sacrificing my moschops, I accidentally get picked up and I have tohit the desmodus to get down because I don't want to tame it with low effectiveness. The problem is this brings the effectiveness back down to 50%. Is there any other way to get down without resetting it?

Hey all, so I didn’t realize I could not grapple if I died/fell in the lava cave/jump puzzle cave on the center, and I died with a lot on me. My body is pretty close to the surface of the lava, but it doesn’t let me use a grapple to get it in here. I tried looking it up but couldn’t find any info on this. If anyone has anything of use for my situation please let me know, it would be really greatly appreciated.

My friend and I have a server on PC for ASE, and on the tek level I am able to craft an Egg Incubator. But whenever I try to google more information about it, all I can find is the SS version. I even checked the spawn codes from the S+ mod page, and it confirms there is an egg incubator. Can someone tell me I am not crazy, and tell me what the point of the egg incubator is, when you also have an egg hatchery? Thank you very very much. It is 4:30 am my time and I am deep in this rabbit hole trying to figure out why I can't find any other S+ documentation on it.

I've checked and double checked that I have all of the mod files copied into the appropriate location in the ark server directory C:xxxxxxxxxx\A\ARK Survival Ascended Dedicated Server\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame\Mods\83374, but no matter what I cannot get the mods to load.

Is there a way to enable DLSS FG after the devs disabled it? The game is utterly unplayable without DLSS and FG without disabling every single setting that might affect FPS in ASA

2 days now and 3 premium mods showing I dont own them and only way to download/use is to buy them again..

I rebuilt an old pc about a year ago and I recently decided to create a vanilla cluster with all four maps on ASA with basic settings which in my opinion is the hardest part. Since I have no “coding” it took me about a week of trouble shooting and fixing idiotic mistakes but in the end I got it done and all I have left to do is add mods and tweak the settings. Use this post to ask question and help each other set up their own dedicated servers. Also, can anyone point me in the direction of the settings for a 25x server?

My son has survival evolved on Xbox. He wants me to get it so I can play with him.

It looks like he is playing on a modded server based on text I see on the screen like "Level up available! access inventory to apply it" and then text above other players like "Host: Sabertooth999 Lvl 83"
Is this correct, is it modded?

I googled around and seems like Maybe the version on Epic & Steam can't crossplay? or only on official servers?
And I would need the Windows store version?

When trying to join any server, it always gets stuck at 0%, does anyone have a fix to it?

Yesterday my game settings randomly got reseted and now my game keeps crashing after like 5-10 min. If I had to guess, it might be related to the new graphic settings I have now.

Is anyone still having the single player save problem on ps5

I've tamed two Reaper Kings by now, and on both, my "impregnation buff" showed I would get +75 levels after killing a lot of stuff, but after they are born, I got less than that. One was initially 105, and was born an 161, I don't remember the other, but it was 75 and ended up around 120. I'm certain I killed enough creatures up until my EXP was capped on both times, but math is not mathing. Has anyone run into this issue?

I setup a dedicated server on my spare laptop the other day. Followed the Ark Unity guide on their website.

I got it to work, but now today I cannot see the server on Ark's server list. The only thing I didn't do was open my ports on my router. Went to do so, and found out that Spectrum doesn't allow anyone to open ports on their leased routers. They only allow it on specific devices, so I opened those ports on my laptop running the server.

I understand this could be the problem, but how was it possible I and others were able to join 2 days ago? Obviously the ports were fine?

Hi again, I’m back. I’m coming from Evolved (last played several years ago), playing on The Island (PVE Official) and am having so much trouble finding a spot for a base. I managed to venture out a bit and made it to some swamps, but eventually had to turn back because I got a bit ahead of my gear. Even away from the main beach a fair bit, there was still giant bases with posts for land grabs everywhere. I’m not looking to build a mega base, just to move on from my starter 2x1 thatch hut that I’ve barely been able to put down, and have some room to expand some as I progress in the game and look for a better spot with easier access to resources.

How on earth do I find a good location early in the game? I never made it terribly far in Evolved, about to where I am now, but with more house and less dinos, so I’m practically having to relearn from scratch.

I keep seeing complains about choppy framerates and despite framegen now being a default feature for basically everyone people still report choppy gameplay.

So here's a little PSA: Framegen (despite the stats display saying its enabled) actually does not work without VSync. You MUST enable VSync for it to VISIBLY work, otherwise you will see double the framerate but it still runs like half. You might have to turn on Fullscreen and Native resolution for Framegen to work.

Open the console and type stat fps to see your framerate and whether Framegen is enabled. If it says its enabled, make sure VSync is on (and again you might have to turn Fullscreen on too... sadly).

Here's another little PSA: Fullscreen makes everything especially the UI a lot sharper and native resolution. Yes i hate it too, i hate fullscreen but without it everything is insanely blurry.

And some little extra info for Framegen: Framegen only works on rendering the game. Your UI is excempt from Framegen meaning anywhere you have any sort of UI (except floating names) you will see your original framerate. This is intended and prevents the UI from... well being interpolated and reconstructed at the downside of whenever and wherever you have some UI up (your toolbar, your character statuses or your inventory) around it you will see the original unaltered images (aka choppy). The UI being excluded is also the reason UI (such as inworld POI's) have a choppy refresh rate if you use Framegen and are supposedly having 60 FPS, in reality you have 30 FPS and every other frame is generated, since the UI is excluded it looks choppier than the actual image. In other words the UI runs at your original framerate (30) but what you see in the game runs at the original + generated framerate (60).
