What am I?
Looks like it's part of the p38 family but I can't place it
KASE on Apple Maps First thought was a piaggo, but realized it wasn’t.
What plane is my great-grandfather posing in front of here? Picture is from the 40’s.
It looks to be two seat so I thought t6 but the rudder doesn’t look right.
What the heck is that second plane? lol.
I never post anything on Reddit so I’m not sure what the hell im doing but we saw this plane flying SUPER low today. It was enormous and had stripes on the back. Just wondering if anybody can identify this or if it is Military. Also, is this legal? It was literally only a couple hundred feet away from tree line.
I’m a passionate aviation enthusiast who travels often and keeps track of every plane I fly on. Using the registration number (or “tail number”), I look up details about the aircraft, such as its age and delivery date to the airline. This information is publicly accessible and can be found with the tail number or Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN). Usually, I check the tail number while the plane is parked at the gate, or I find the serial placard near the entrance when boarding. Sometimes, if I can’t locate it, I’ll ask a crew member during the flight. I’ve been doing this for years and have meticulously recorded every aircraft from the hundreds of flights I’ve taken. I maintain all these records in a personal spreadsheet for future reference.
I always take a photo of the tail or the metal plate by the door while boarding. However, this time I mistakenly took a photo of the front door plate, so I can't determine the registration number from it.
I'm really upset that my spreadsheet now has an unfortunate gap for this PSA flight. I realize it's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things and that most people wouldn't care, but I can't seem to let it go. I'm hoping a kind Redditor can help me out. Here’s the flight info:
Flight number: W6 5072
Flight date: 27.06.2023
Departure time: 08:50 am (local time)
Operated by: WizzAir
Departure airport: KRK
Arrival airport: NCE
PS
I noticed that from 2018 I also have a gap in some plane's registration numbers. Maybe I will ask for the registration number if someone will help me to find this one. Guys let me know if you are willing to help.
Does anyone know what type of plane this is? thank you!
