So I need to know something about this insane system called Dragontail. Is anyone else noticing in their stores order getting shuffled and mixed around? Say for example: Order 1,2,3 would normally come out in order. However for some reason, order 3 is coming out before 1 or 2 even show for the cooks. It really screws with us and DoorDash people since it throws their orders around like crazy
Hi,
My kiddo got her first job in another state and decided to work for Pizza Hut. She worked some 30 hours in December and doesn't have any way to find out how much she made for tax purposes. She says she's only been paid in tips and I hate to think that she's a victim of wage theft.
Is there a web portal for employees to see their pay stubs?
Overhead a conversation between our Area Manager and a Shift Manager in which they were discussing how many in-store workers were necessary on a shift when the AM said “we’re going to be doing away with drivers”.
It’s coming, and judging from the influx of newly hired in-stores at my unit, I’m guessing it’ll be sooner rather than later for me.
EDIT: I’m in Florida.
this might be the most satisfying feeling i’ve ever felt
Just cut breadsticks into 10 pieces (like a cheese stick) and fry them for about 5 minutes and if you want more crunch throw them in the oven for 30 sec intervals until just right. I throw some cinnamon sugar but you could do anything you wanted.
Since the IRS rate went up to .70 cents a mile in 2025. Has anyone seen a difference in pay out?
The exception is drivers and 2 at my store run it better than the people who actually are supposed to be on it. I’m a CSR run cut table every night because everyone else is apparently scared of it. END RANT
Hi Folks!
So I’ve just been hired as a shift manager but I will be going away to a different restaurant to do my two-three weeks of training. I’ve worked in different chain restaurants previously but just want to know what I can expect. Thanks for any replies in advance.
EDIT: This is UK
How long before someone finds out I'm entering my number when it asked for rewards number? But only if the customer doesn't have an account.
Hello everyone I was wondering how long would it take for my local Pizza Hut to receive my application and how long it typically takes for them to call you back. Thank you for any replies!
Well I have been working for a year at Pizza Hut in Gladstone Missouri and got a self performace review even though my last gm didn't do one how much am going to get a raise if I all all them say meets expectations
Shift lead western WA.
Word came down from upper management in Western WA stores today, as our store fired 3 delivery drivers, they hired 2 new inshops that dont speak english.
This, combined with doordash taking over delivery, im only going to be able to communicate with 2 employees on my shifts.
Wow.
So you're telling me that taking calls, helping customers up front, and taking orders were never actually part of my job before I became manager???
Why the F, do you guys run out of hot & spicy chicken strip and why is the chicken wing cooked in the middle yet the skin is uncooked somehow and the skin smells like a raw one too?
So I had an interview on Monday and this was like my first interview ever so I’m new to like job application etiquette stuff. They asked for my phone number and said they would contact me but I haven’t heard anything yet. Should I call to follow up or just wait?
Our store makes just barely enough money to stay open. So my hours got cut from it and im only working 10 ish hours this week. Alot of local pizza huts have the same issue i guess so are yalls stores making less sales?
Pre-post. I keep coming to the hut sub reddit because people are actually honest and helpful, and fellow RGM, managers all have different answers . (And yes im still actively looking for another job).
Post: clocked out tonight, had 3 deliveries 2 card 1 cash. Brought in the expected amount, except it was x amount over what I owed the store. Manager explained that when a delivery driver doesn't have enough in card tips they basically have to make up for that and owe the store extra. And I just wanna know if others have had this happen.
I worked at Dollar General from January 2023-September 2024. It was my first real job, it was very difficult and I struggled the whole time but somehow I hung in there until my boss pretty much forced me out. I haven’t been able to land a new retail job and I’m interested in switching careers and learning something new.
I’m hoping to apply for a cooking job. I don’t have cooking experience only register experience. I don’t really want to work register again unless I absolutely need to. But I’m also interested in learning how to cook anyway. Any tips, advice, anything important I need to know before I apply?
Tl;Dr: I’m interested in switching careers from Retail to Cooking even though I have no cooking experience.
Please help. Im A shift lead and not familiar with thus system. I've been trying to get our fryer on all morning and every time I turn it on, it makes a repeated beeping noise (about a beep per swcond) then eventually shuts down. Anyone know how to fix this?
10/10 love making off menu shit
check is 4 days late so far. no one in my franchise has gotten paid. they said it’s because the banks but i’m assuming they took too much money out of their business accounts in corporate and don’t have the $ to put back? idk but did anyone else get paid late 🤦🏽♀️
Everytime I have to see his stupid face in these new videos I always mute him. ALWAYS. I can't STAND him. I honest to god prefer Zack (or Zach, can't remember the spelling) over him. I have been at this company for nearly five years and I have never, NEVER had to mute a training video as much as I mute his. I cannot STAND THE MAN!
