Is it normal for Pizza Hut franchises to not do national deals?
I’ve also been told this Pizza Hut adds a dollar to everything?
Tossing wings into the container missed one. Surprise it didn’t fall to the floor.
I caught ear that the cheesy bites pizza is making a return soon… mind you I average 100 stuffed crusts a day at my store.. my hands hurt thinking about it
So I have a rapid payroll card and now I’m leaving Pizza Hut and I want to know if my payroll card will stop working. And if it continues to work will I be able to use it as a direct deposit for me next job?
Peace, happiness, safety……”you can let go now”
Has anyone been fired for eating a mess up pizzas or old pizza? Im barely being paid enough to pay my phone bill here I can't even afford new clothes let alone feed myself or my family the new rgm only schedules me three days a week I'm also one bad day away from being forced to go to a homeless shelter with my partner and our kid.
Its not fair when servers are the only one that have to claim tips
Any ideas on why Pizza Hut in Mississippi can’t get paid on time? Like what’s the issue? What’s going on? Bc like nobody can tell me anything and they expect me to just be okay with it. It’s been EVERY paycheck since I basically started a year ago has been late.. and honestly, I’m not having it no more.
I’m so tired of bread and cheese, I like just eating the toppings sometimes
At least they didn’t go with spelling it with a triple K
Drivers, if any, get their tips. 100%. And I'm not sure about the CSRs of my store get theirs, but I do know, the RGM has a yellow manila envelope of cash, that's been told to me by other managers, that that is indeed the tips accumulated every day, week after week, located in the safe. Any overages, when they count their registers between shifts or at the end of the night, goes directly into that envelope.
When I asked in the beginning 'what's to do about the tips?,' she (the RGM) stated, "only the person who cashes out the customer, gets the tip.". That's what I've always been told. But what if I'm never on the register? They won't let me. I know how to cash out customers, I know how to do everything in the store, cut table, etc. I'm 100% of the time, the closing cook. Which means, cleaning up after everyone when they leave. I work so dang hard.
I respect they want to keep track of people on the register, especially those who are assigned to the till, to prevent any shortages, but the fact I work all weekends, every weekend. During the dinner rushes, future orders, etc. and not 1 single cent do I get. You would think that if there's any overages, that it should go to the cooks and not in that envelope. To me, that's withholding tips from the employees. Am I wrong?
She(the RGM) says what she says, 'the person cashing out the register gets the tip'. Then I'm told, 'tips don't go to the managers, only the employees.' Then why aren't we getting it?? Why can't anyone be decent and at least give me something? Anything to reward me of my hard work? She says she doesn't pocket the tips of she's the one on the register, she'll put it in the safe, as if to appear like she's being "honest". But if it's in the safe, it's still up for anyone, especially who's a manager...which of course managers are the only ones with access to the safe, to take what they want any time they want it. She can always go back in and take it. So is that really being honest????
Any time they want something from the Dollar General next door, they take it out of the tips. Any time there's a shortage in the money, they take it out of the tips. Any time the RGM throws a "party" which is practically never, but some stale, food lion cookies and cupcakes, she takes it out of the tips.
I would like you guys' opinion on the matter, before I decide to call HR today. Because I don't feel like it's right.
I doubt HR will care or do anything about it. But I've been with my store for a while now, and I haven't gotten a raise. The holidays are among us and I don't want to feel like my hard earned work is for nothing. I want my tips. Luckily, the RGM is leaving in January, but you know, that's all the way in January.
Should I suck it up and wait until she's gone? Or should I say something to HR? Mind you, I don't want retaliation. I'm a little worried to be figured out that it's me the one who's said something.
Edit: Thank you all for your advice and input. It's refreshing to get other people's perspectives on this and it's making me feel better, because I do feel really neglected. I don't mind splitting tips with all of us. I just wish we, the employees, get something out of our hard work.
This RGM....smh, we just passed our seratech inspection with flying colors, and she said she got a personal congratulations by the CEO of Flynn. That's what the cupcakes and cookies were for: Our reward. Straight out of our tips. It was a little thank you for helping get her to the top. Out of 37 stores, we were number 1. Iconic all around.... Something like that.
I work in Chesapeake, Virginia for clarification.
Pizza Hut Oklahoma is going to do away with drivers around January 2025 and switch to Doordash. I hate to say it but pizza Hut will probably never be the same. Doordash is notorious for causing problems with our stores, the drivers outright steal the food, claim they delivered it and pocket the money and food; take to the wrong address; etc. There is no way to hold the Doordash drivers accountable when the orders are done wrong or the doordasher acts maliciously. The only thing Pizza Hut can do is call doordash and hope they decide to do something, and that's only if they decide to call, sometimes it gets too busy so the store just remakes and resends the order. At least with company drivers they can be help accountable. Complaints are going to skyrocket, corporate is shooting themselves in the foot with a giant shotgun, and customers are going to be very upset. I have nothing but love for pizza Hut and have been a driver for almost 3 years. I hate to see the company go down this road, I truly love this place. Im sad.
Edit: our franchise is owned by Yum! Brands.
Anyone have issues with getting paid direct deposit every now and then I should be getting Friday but no one on direct deposit at our store hasent been paid yet second time this has happened really messed up everything I have planned any thoughts??
I change my direct deposit Monday and was posed to get paid yesterday but didn’t receive my paycheck yet anyone know why
At Pizza Hut of course, sickos
Lots of bad things happened to me last week…..so thank GOD something good happened. Im manifesting that the creator of this universe, supplies you all, with great suprises. Namaste. Good luck😊😊😊😊
we have this one address for someone who has 17 different accounts with us. that we, i, know of. i was told to cancel their order when they order because it’s someone who steals credit cards. i am waiting for my GM to make a police report. but i saw someone on here before mention blocking an address. how?! thanks so much in advance it will help avoid continuously canceling orders. and i worry they’ll show up lol
im a shift manager, and apparently they're giving me 1 driver for a saturday night because they're "testing something" I can't even do a tuesday night without DoorDash. usually im given 3-5 drivers for a Saturday.
Are they suppose to be proofed? If so we have never done it. If so how long in the proofer?
Finally out pizza the hut
Hey so I got hired to be a Pizza Hut server for $7 an hour plus tips, I was just wondering how to prepare for the job more, how to interact with the customers without being nervous or scared or awkward, and basically what to expect
So, ever since i have started working at Pizza Hut (Cornelia GA, US) I have had multiple bad experiences with the managers. Instead of being trained by management like i was supposed to be, it was pushed off onto people who had only been working there for a couple of weeks themselves. One particular manager is the worst, she is very rude and is quick to get in your face. I have been made to feel stupid by her and others because no one would tell me anything and then be upset that I didn’t know. This came to a head today when there was a mix up with the schedule. I didn’t know that the new schedule had been posted, but apparently it had been and was underneath the current schedule on the clipboard, once again no one told me. And as I was hired on for night shift and had a set schedule I assumed I was doing the night shift, like I was hired to do. Well, they scheduled me to work morning shift, and I missed it. No one, not the manager or any of the others thought to call me despite having my number in the office just like every other employee. So, when I went into do the night shift, I get fussed out and when I tried to explain and apologize, I got more attitude and treated like dirt. The other manager tried to talk to me/‘mediate‘ (aka taking the other mangers side and talking down to me), I once again tried to explain the mix up and that no one had told me and her response was, ”You are an adult, it’s not our jobs to remind you when you work.” I didn’t say it was, I was saying it would be nice to be kept informed. I left before I even clocked in because I couldn’t deal with that, over a mistake that could have been fixed with a phone call or text.
The reason why I want to get in contact with the district manager, is because a week or two ago we had a meeting with the district manager, in which he brought up that out of all three stores in the area, our store is the only one that had a revolving door of staffing issues.
Considering the managers behavior and how they speak to their employees, it doesn’t shock me, and makes a lot of sense now.
I can’t find his information or anyway to contact him on the website, and seeing how things went today, I don’t think I’ll be stepping foot into that place again if I can help it.
C.H.A.M.P.S, B.L.A.S.T, B2B Apparently I need to know these acronyms and what they are use for, before I can get promoted as a Shift Leader. I asked my gm if they have any books or like online sources where I can at least learn these. She said no, and it should be a general knowledge that I can basically just google? Tf. lol.
Guys help what are these acronyms? And is there any advice from a shift lead or mngrs? I love my job, I have been working here since I was 17 and I’m almost 19 now& I want to get this shift lead promotion so bad(and hopefully the assistant mngr position in the future)🤧🙏🏼 THANK U🍕
I just got notified that I can start today, what should I expect on my first day? What should I avoid?
I applied to a pizza hut in my town last week. I called up there today to see if they were hiring insiders and she got my name and said she’d pull my application and call me tomorrow
I’ve worked the last 4 years in pizza split between dominos and pjs. What’s the hiring process like for pizza hut and about how long did it take?
thank you in advance! :)
Night crew royally fucked up last night and I don't think I'll be able to handle orders by myself on top of cleaning the mess they made can I delay the start or will orders come in anyway?
