Thoughts? I’d almost rather just wear the white helmets if we are going with the whiteout. I do think it’s a pretty clean look overall though.

So, Pitt’s sitting at 7-0, undefeated for the first time since ‘82, fresh off a huge win over a tough 5-1 Syracuse squad, and now we’re ranked 18th in the country! Meanwhile, SMU’s a solid 7-1, ranked 20th, and we’re heading into this game as… a 7.5-point underdog?? 🤨

Am I missing something here? What do these oddsmakers know that we don’t? I get it, SMU’s a good team, but to put Pitt at such a disadvantage seems like a slap in the face to what these guys have accomplished so far this season. Does anyone else find this line disrespectful, or is there something in the matchup I’m overlooking?

Any Pitt fans going to the SMU game? I'm a '18 grad a few hours outside of Dallas and was thinking about driving up for the game. Wanted to see if any folks were grabbing a beer before the game and would be down for me to join.

#18 Football 7-0 (3-0)

The sharks came to play. 5 interceptions and 3 pick sixes for the Panthers in a 41-13 route of Syracuse.

We have a huge game this week @ # 20 SMU. If we win we will be in the college football playoff discussion. The game kicks off at 8:00 on Saturday and will be broadcast on ACC Network

#1 Volleyball 19-1 (9-1)

A tight 5 set showdown went the Panthers way on Friday at the Pete. Then on Sunday we defeated Notre Dame in 4 sets.

This week we head to Virginia for a pair of conference matchups. First on Friday we play @ UVA at 7:00. Then we play @ VA Tech at 1:00 on Sunday.

#3 Men’s Soccer 12-3 (6-1)

On Senior night we rolled against Virginia 4-1.

Going into the final game of the regular season, we have already clinched at least a share of the regular season title. We have a 3 point lead on Clemson going into the final day of the regular season. If Clemson doesn’t win or we don’t lose. If we do finish tied for first with Clemson, I am unsure of who will receive the #1 seed in the ACC Tournament because we didn’t play them and neither team lost to a team the other beat. The #1 seed in the ACC Tournament is the only one who gets a bye into the Quarterfinals.

Our final regular season game is @ Syracuse on Friday at 7:00

Women’s Soccer 9-5-3 (3-4-2)

Against #2 Wake Forest we fell 2-0 on Senior Night.

Since the ACC Women’s Soccer Tournament only consists of the top 6 teams, we have been mathematically eliminated from the ACC Tournament race.

Our season finale will be @ #13 Notre Dame on Thursday at 7:00.

The Panthers start their 2024 campaign by hosting Radford this Monday at 7:00

We start our season at home against Canisius this Tuesday at 6:00
