Hello all. We will be heading and staying at SeaCrest this weekend and it will be our first time up there. Any must food places to try? Huge fans of clam chowder and heard of the cafe place but is it all hype or really worth it? Also any other places or tips will be greatly appreciated

I am taking 2 teenagers to Pismo for a few days this spring and, while I have fun meeting people at all the wineries, I would like to take them somewhere fun where they can meet other teenagers. Is there somewhere like this in/near Pismo? Cool resorts, maybe an arcade, any ideas? Fun hangout or shopping spots?

I’m new-ish to the area and I can’t help but notice a trend of older women (70+) with pink and purple hair. I haven’t experienced this anywhere else I’ve lived. Is there a hair dresser around here that encourages this or something? Is it just some local culture? I’m glad these ladies are doing what makes them happy, it always gives me a chuckle to see them with crazy loud hair.

For context, I’ve been to Pismo a few times at this point and I have come to love fish n chips and bread bowls. Everywhere I’ve been to the food seems to be different the next time I visit. SO, instead of basing my own opinions on one to two visits I figured I’d ask the locals opinion!

Does anyone have a camping spot on the beach available this weekend? I booked the wrong dates and am looking for something last minute, if someone has a reservation they are not using I would really appreciate it!

We want to arrive a few hours before we can check into our campsite. Is there any place in Pismo Beach to park our truck with attached 28ft camper????

Hi everyone! I’m visiting with my boyfriend, and so far it’s been beautiful - this is such a beautiful place, I’ve never been to California before and I’m glad we picked pismo to visit for my first time. We are both 25, and we’re looking for some good places to grab a drink at.

Someone told us not to go to Bills because we are an interracial couple… is that really something we have to worry about here?

I’m from the Midwest, and I was always under the impression that this wasn’t something that we’d have to worry about in a place like this. Maybe I’m just ignorant, but I was shocked when we were told about Bills and told that there are other places like it. I don’t want to put him or us in any uncomfortable or unsafe situations while we’re here. Any thoughts on this are welcome, thanks in advance.

FRESHEST SUSHI NEAR PISMO BEACH?

This is probably a long shot but does anyone have photo of pismo in the 70s 80s. I remember going there as i lived close by as a child. In the early 80s a huge storm came that caused waves to actually go over the wall and it wiped out the arcades that were there.

Any photos or info is appreciated.
