Hi! Just want to ask if any of you are hiring for any Civil Engineer position. Currently employed po ako pero it has been 5 months since I started working here on my current employer until now di po binabayaran yung benefits ko and ang lala ng OT pero di po nila binabayaran. Nung Wednesday na interview Ako ng Isang trucking company sa U.S maliit pa lang Sila nagsisimula pa lang Sila mag grow. Nung patapos na interview namen sinabe nya sa fri."kahapon" ididiscuss Ang SOP tapos Ang goal daw ay next week, Ako magstart. Kahapon magdamag Ako naghintay Wala syang response nag orange Yung chat box nya meaning online sa Upwork pero Hindi sa chat ng sandali mga ilang beses pero walang response sa messages ko.

Kino consider ko din na baka busy lang Kase nung nagapply Ako Oct. 16 tapos Oct 19 na sya nag response may Pina fill out saken after ko fill out mga 1 week Bago sya nag reply sinet nya last Mon. Yung interview kaso nag ask Ako ng Oras d sya ngreply nung wed. Yun na nga na interview nya ko. Until kagabe Hanggang kninang madaling Araw na d sya sumipot.

Ano kaya gagawin ko? Nag follow up na ko makailang beses kagabe eh.

So ayun po i did not pass the training. We have a week of training for an appointment setter role and then yesterday nag calls na ako. Nung wednesday, binigyan ako ng mga list of services para i study. I studied hard as my life depends on it since its been 2 months na im jobless and I cancelled a lot of interviews because I asked God for a job and I told him I will be happy even if the rate is not that high, as long as I can survive and feed my mother. Then thursday, yesterday i started taking calls na but they gave another list of service kasi change of plans daw at sa ibang account ako ilalagay. Also yesterday lang din ako nagnavigate ng tools and ang super dami. Then, nag start na ako mag calls and I did not expect to get an inbound leads. I was hoping that those are the leads na iniwanan ko ng voicemail and text but thennnn it was a concern for rescheduling and concerns with the billing. I was so shocked because I did not get trained kung anong sasabihin and responses. Dont even have idea na I will encounter those calls. It was also my bad because I dont have experience in customer service, just pure sales and Im lacking skills in helping people with concerns. It was actually very hard to communicate with them because I need to search their information first and hell I just started to navigate tools and such. After that I was forced to log out due to my performance dun sa dalawang calls. After that I studied so much in my lacking areas especially for handling concerns and inbound. Then I was really confident because I learned a lot and I'm now confident na I can do it. Today was smooth, no issues, nagiging comfortable na ako pakonti konti, got a lot of calls, starting to adress concerns and starting to get the gist but then they suddenly kicked me out.I didnt expect those 2 calls will take my job from me. I tried so hard but nawala lahat ng effort ko. I'm the only trainee and the trainer was very very very strict na i didnt even see her smile, siya ata tagapagmana and kababayan siya. It was a lot lot of pressure specially my first day of calling. So ayun I didnt get paid because I did not graduate the training. I was really hoping that I can change my life with that job because I want to be a better person so much na I promised myself i'll bald my hair to start a new memories amd life and hoping I can help my mother and feed our 30 cats and 4 dogs. I'm knocking on your heart po I hope you can give me recommendations! That would really mean to me!

I just got hired for a project-based position in the government. I was briefed last Thursday by the project coordinator but due to the half-day sched, I did not get to speak to the HR. I'll be deployed to the field by Monday, so I won't have the chance to meet the HR until I get back.

As it is project-based, with my contract up for renewal every 6 months, the coordinator told me to not let go of my first job yet (remote work for a Filipino firm that already pays my SSS, PHIC, PAG-IBIG contributions).

So my question is: Are there DOLE guidelines that don't allow payment of contributions by two separate employers -- in my case, one is private, one is government?
