straight to the point na agad: okay lang ba magkaroon ng dalawang contracted/employed work? ano ba yung mga pwedeng mangyari sa dalawang work aside from stress/work life balance? how about yung mga benefits?
so currently employed wfh ako, hindi naman palaging heavy workload ko sa wfh, as long as magsubmit lang ako ng mga pinapagawa, goods na. kapag naregular din pala ako, i'll get the usual benefits din
i also do freelance kapag may ipapagawa yung contacts ko but I do think na hindi pa ganun ka enough ang salary ko + nakukuha ko sa freelance para makapagsupport ng family/house expenses soooo balak ko maghanap pa ng isa pa either onsite or wfh okay lang saakin but pwede ba yun? I only know some people that do freelance and employed work together pero I haven't encountered someone na dalawang employed work
Ano kayang dapat iimprove sa resume ko? Pahingi naman ng tips for fresh grads like me.
been thinking leaving the engineering field since laging overworked 6days a week and underpaid. san na kayo ngayon? are you contented and what are your regrets?
edit: licensed engineer, less than a year exp, 2d job feels like na lagi ako natatapat sa toxic environment/redflag company/ unprofessional coworkers
Hi, I am working in makati Okay naman sana. maayos kaso may need ko ng pera kaya nag hahanap ako ng mas mataas while I am still employed.
Thank you in advance btw I have 2yrs+ experience sa real estate industry

Hi! I resigned from my first job from Aug to Nov. My coworker said that I’m still able to receive a 13 month on my last pay. Is it true or nah?
I'm currently in my graduating year in college, I applied for an IT company for internship but they offered me the Support Engineer intern position. They informed me I will have my technical interview rin where I will code virtually.
Thank you po
To those working for the government. Tumataas po ba ang sweldo diyan? Hehe
We have an opening job on our team, Must have at least 2years of xp on SAP MDM this is remote work. Dm Me for details.
Hello! I'm a first-gen registered nurse and I don't really have that much savings for high-end work shoes.
I've been seeing these Hawkwell nursing shoes all over Tiktok, has anyone tried them? What do you think?
...And do you guys have alternative recos na sana around 1,500 pesos to 2,500 pesos lang. hehe Mabigat na po kasi yung 3,000 pesos and up for me.
Thanks!!
Hi. I am a fresh graduate and I am having second thoughts about sa job offer na natanggap ko recently. I applied for an IT Tech Support position since fresh graduate ako and good starting job for an IT graduate.
The job location would be at Makati and I'm from Paranaque. I got to the final interview and they messaged me immediately na natanggap ako sa position. During the interview they told me na and work days would be monday to saturday. Magkakaroon ng 1 month training and 6 months probationary after. The salary would be minimum.
Question ko lang is it worth it na tanggapin yung offer given na 6 days a week yung work? I just want to ask for other people thoughts especially sa mga fresh graduate. Thank you!
Lets say that the context is within the field of accounting and business. Does a degree still hold value nowadays? I think about how most entry level jobs these days require as much as 2 years of work experience.
But if a bachelor degree is the minimum requirement equivalent of a high school diploma now, could you suggest ways that I could gain experience / relevant skills needed while still being a student?
Hi! I’ve received a job offer from a PH company and what they offered is a 28% increase from my annualized pay. Thinking of accepting the offer but I’m not sure if it’s worth it especially with the RTO. I have plans to look for a new job next year but not urgent, as in I just want a higher salary if I jumpship. Please help me decide.

I'll be starting this January in DXC. I'm a fresh grad with only internship as my work experience. What should I expect from the training period in DXC Technology? Any tips
Good day po sa lahat! I am a fresh graduate student with a degree related in ENVIRONMENT. I only know about Government Agencies positions na may mga ganitong projects.. I heard. medyo mahirap po din magapply and also read that there are unavoidable politics.. and some have bullyings happening especially when you are a junior. thought apart from that I hear a lot of Good experiences din naman po from colleagues such as laxed time compare to others. hehe I have a very few and limited friends and network to ask about these things.
Kamsamnida, arigato. Many thanks for your response.
It's been more than 2 years since I've step foot on a job interview and now I'm running for 3 years at my first job.
I’m struggling a lot with social anxiety, and it’s affecting both my work life and my career prospects. At work, I avoid interacting with my colleagues as much as I can. I keep conversations short, skip social events, and always feel out of place in group settings. On top of that, I’ve been avoiding job interviews because the thought of being judged or scrutinized makes me feel physically sick.
Just the thought of sitting in front of strangers and being judged on every word I say makes my heart race and my mind go blank. I know interviews are part of life and essential for getting a job, but I’ve been avoiding them altogether because of how overwhelming they feel.
Every time I see a job posting that fits my qualifications, I get excited at first, but then I start thinking about the interview process, and my anxiety spirals out of control. I overthink every possible scenario: What if I can’t answer a question? What if I come across as incompetent? What if they think I’m not good enough? Eventually, I convince myself it’s not worth trying, and I don’t even apply.
This avoidance has been holding me back, and it’s starting to affect my confidence. I see my friends advancing in their careers, and here I am, stuck in the same place because I can’t get past my fear. I feel like I’m wasting my potential, but I don’t know how to break this cycle.
I’ve been thinking about starting small, like practicing mock interviews or maybe even looking into therapy. But honestly, the whole process still feels daunting.
For anyone who has dealt with social anxiety, especially around interviews, how did you overcome it? Are there any strategies or tips that worked for you? How can I build the confidence to face my fears and finally take that first step?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal stories you’re willing to share. Thanks in advance!
guys I need someone nagwowork sa shell makati, need some guidance sa application process nila parang mejo tight ata ang competition dito
26F here seeking for any advice I currently work in a Mid-Senior Content Marketing role for 4 years already but I have always wanted to make a career in digital ads be it display ads, PPC, meta or facebook or social media ads. I'm looking to gain experience so that I can leverage it with my content marketing skills for other digital marketing roles.
I am taking up online courses about Google Ads and the other platforms but I feel like I can't test my knowledge with their tests. I'm not confident I can execute and run a ad campaign on this knowledge only. I feel as if this is the best way for me to learn deeper wbout this industry. I wanted to learn by experience but I have no business to test it out on.
I was trying to find a remote part time or volunteer work at this point for this role since I was hoping to gain experience being taught be a mentor/senior but I cannot seem to find any postings open. All postings are expecting 2/3+ experience already and seeking for a proven track record in successful ad campaigns which I have none.
At the most, there are only a few internships that I think are looking for students. Would it be weird if I applied to internships and what are the chances I can get into these successfully? Or generally, would you know where I can go and find someone who is willing to take a remote volunteer or part timer in? I have no issues in this part time setup because my full time content role is flexitime and permits side gigs like this.
Hello! I (18F) am scheduled for my final ftf interview this week sa isang coffee shop. I just have a concern regarding sa buhok. For context, I have highlights sa hair ko. Nagw worry po ako baka hindi ako matanggap because of it since naalala ko nung application ko sa isang fast food chain, naging concern nila yung hair ko na with highlights, after that I never heard from them again. So I wanna know if mas okay ba sa employers (esp sa mga nasa food industry) ang dark hair kesa sa may kulay? Thank you po
Hello, do any of you knows if SBC accept currently enrolled student. I was planning to apply po kasi in sbc but don't know if they accommodate student. Thank you
Context: I previously signed a contract for employment at a BPO as a CSR. However, nagkaroon ako ng emergency and had to take care of my grandfather kasi lumalala sakit niya. I anticipated na matatagalan yong pag-aalaga and I couldn't work right away kaya nag-email ako sa employer stating those. Never ako pumasok and eventually naterminate contract.
Ngayon, my grandfather died and after got an offer and accepted it. May third-party company na nagbabackground check for them and they're asking if I had previous employment. So I'm contemplating if ishashare ko yong about sa BPO experience ko even thought hindi naman ako nakapasok sa start date ko or wag na lang kasi baka makaapekto sa pagpili nila sa akin. But I'm scared na if I don't share it eh malaman pa rin nila and they'll terminate the contract since nakalagay na rin yong previous company sa Pag-ibig ko. So I'm asking if kailan ba nagsstart yong considered as employed ka na, after signing the contract or once pumasok ka sa start date?
AFAIK, contract signing muna tapos pre employment checklist eme Kasi ganun nangyari sa first job ko. My sis had a job offer and asked her HR when's the contract signing. HR just emailed her the pre employment (medical, nbi, etc). Thanks
Baka naman guys may openings kayo within Ortigas, cubao, Mandaluyong areas.. 😁😄
For the past 3-4 months, I've been tirelessly searching for freelance work as an Executive Assistant (EA), sending out countless applications and facing numerous rejections. I even explored options with VA agencies, but landing a client proved elusive. Desperation sometimes pushed me to lower my rates significantly, but to no avail.
Two weeks ago, a glimmer of hope appeared. One of the hundreds of applications I'd submitted finally yielded a response from OnlineJobs.ph. They invited me for an interview, and I attended. It was a panel interview with several other applicants. During the recruiter's explanation of the tasks and the offered rate, some candidates dropped out due to the low rate, but I, along with two others, persevered. The client himself was also present during the interview.
To my surprise, I was offered the job! The relief was immense, considering the anxiety and depression I endured throughout my job search. Last week, I commenced work for this incredibly kind client. He manages multiple companies and desperately needs assistance in various areas, making my role crucial. Importantly, he's never had an EA before, so we're both learning and growing together.
While he assigns many tasks, I'm confident I can manage them effectively. On my fourth day, my secondary monitor malfunctioned. When I inquired about invoicing him for only four days of work while I purchased a replacement, he immediately offered to buy me a new monitor! I initially declined, feeling I hadn't proven myself yet, but he insisted and even offered other PC peripherals like webcams.
At that moment, I realized how fortunate I am to have found such an exceptional client. I may have secured other jobs in the past, but none would have been like this.
To anyone still searching for their dream job, please don't lose hope. Keep applying, keep learning, and remember that every rejection is a redirection. Your perfect opportunity is waiting for you. - Improved by Gemini
