My girlfriend was incarcerated in the US state of West Virginia for child neglect resulting in death due to her ex boyfriend shaking and killing their 37 day old child last year. Her sentencing was recent and while her Lawyer and Prosecutors agreed that 6 months of jail time would have been suitable alongside 20 years of probation, the judge overlooked many facts that happend in both her ex boyfriends trial and the facts that individuals such as doctors, the lawyers, therapists and psychoanalysts gave in order to sentence her to 3-15 years of imprisonment. I've created a petition to help the cause and would appreciate if you could sign and share this around to fight against injustices such as this. I have a petition up for Xfinity to give us back some control over our advanced settings. They have locked everything down saying, "Automatic configuration will make sure you have the best connection possible," however it constantly auto assigns all access points and SSIDs to the same wifi channel, which is always the lowest-quality, according to my Wifi Analyzer. It's a simple fix to just reenable the "Automatic vs. Manual" configuration setting in our Router Dashboard, and this would allow those who are okay with the connection they have, or prefer NOT to mess with settings, to stay with Automatic, but for those of us with the knowhow, we would have the ability to adjust our own channel for better quality!

NOTE: This is not referring to bandwidth, we have the ability to switch between 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz, but the channel subset within those bands always defaults to the lowest possible quality, with tens of other available channels on the highest quality and completely unused. Auto config is broken!

The sentiment behind this bill is not just about the act of consuming dogs but also about the additional suffering and cruelty involved in the process. It's sparked a significant discussion about our treatment of animals and where we draw the line ethically.

But here's something to think about: If we're considering the welfare of animals and the ethics of consumption, why stop at dogs? Farmed rabbits, for instance, suffer an equally cruel fate in farming conditions. They're often subjected to harsh living conditions and face distressing treatment, much like dogs raised for meat.

Rabbits hold a special place in many people's hearts as companions, much like dogs. They form bonds with humans and exhibit behaviors that evoke empathy, including emitting human child-like noises when faced with fear or danger. This anthropomorphic aspect of rabbits makes their suffering and exploitation in the meat industry even more distressing.

So, shouldn't we extend the same consideration and compassion to rabbits as we do to dogs? Shouldn't legislation be proposed to ban the consumption of rabbit meat in the UK?

After all, if we're truly concerned about animal welfare and reducing unnecessary suffering, it's time to address the inconsistency in our ethical standards. Rabbits are as much our companions as dogs are, and they deserve the same protections.

Roblox has increased the prices of items, especially face accessories and heads. Prices like 15 robux are forcefully turned into 50 or higher.

Items that have a price of 60+ rather than 50 or lower

In fact, in the past, you could make heads free. But clearly, Roblox didn't allow that.

Many people aren't able to afford or don't want to buy accessories with prices of 50. It's unfair that it could've been another price but Roblox increased it because their money was in stakes.

Face accessory, ugc head prices have turned to 70 robux, Back turned into 145 or more robux; and waists and layered clothing have turned to 50 or more ROBUX.

If this stays the same, then many people wouldn't be able to buy things. It would be hard, even if they have bought robux because the price is too much!

This petition is really important as that Roblox is just doing this for money and us users aren't able to express ourselves freely. In fact, this could be considered inflation. Signing this petition can help a lot, along with sending this to Roblox. So please take action and sign this petition.

A couple weeks ago I received yet another letter from an agency informing me they had suffered a "security breach" and that my information "has been effected" (aka - multiple thieves now have your name, address, date of birth and ss# and can ruin your life at their leisure, over and over). I have started a petition to hold companies and agencies to a higher standard of protection or be made to pay the people whose information was "affected" as well as be assessed a substantial fine to be paid to the Federal Trade Commission. I've only shared it with a couple of people however the petition has amassed over 40 signatures so there must be others beside myself who are fed up with companies and agencies failing to take the steps required to protect their clients sensitive information simply because it will make things less convenient for them, with no concern for the "inconvenience" and potential serious damages for their clients.

This is to bring more attention to a bill regarding food expiration dates. People often throw food away thinking its expired when it really hasn't. This bill will change the phrasing on packages thus reducing food waste in one way.
