I would like to invite you to take part in my research study, which concerns cognitive/psychological traits in relation to eating behaviors. This study involves the use of completely anonymous clinical instruments that assess autistic traits and eating behaviors. This project has been approved by the IRB/ethics committee at Pace University. If you agree to participate in my research, I will ask you to complete 2 assessments via a Qualtrics questionnaire. The session will begin with a brief participant demographic survey to ensure diversity of results and will be followed with the administration of the subsequent assessment measures. The first instrument to be administered consists of questions regarding psychological traits. This will be followed by a brief questionnaire which will assess eating behaviors. We would like to gather a diverse range of participants to make the results applicable to a wider range of the population.
Click the link below for more information. Clicking the link does not mean that you must complete the study. Once provided with further information, you will be offered the chance to consent to participate but may deny consent or choose to discontinue whenever you please.
Hello,
My name is Jalen Smith and I am a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at Chestnut Hill College. As part of my dissertation, I am conducting one-time, semi-structured interviews with licensed psychologists who routinely use an MMPI instrument in some capacity (e.g. work, teaching) at least once a year and are willing to discuss their perspectives of the MMPI over time. The interviews should last 45-60 minutes and can be conducted at a convenient location of your choice, virtually, or by phone. I recognize the time constraints that psychologists often encounter, and I appreciate your consideration in participating in this study. Please find my contact information below if you have any questions.
Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you will not receive any compensation. If you decide not to participate, there will not be a penalty to you or loss of any benefits to which you are otherwise entitled. You may withdraw from this study at any time. While this study might not benefit you directly, your participation may benefit other psychologists and, ultimately, many future clients. If you have questions about this research study, please feel free to contact me. Further contact information can be found below for this research study’s dissertation chair, as well as for the Institutional Review Board at Chestnut Hill College.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and time,
Jalen Smith

For those in/near Philadelphia, I've embedded a 172-item non-cognitive questionnaire (personality and attitudes) in a dating site called phillymatch.org - it's completely free (and ad-free), and I'm hoping to get some responders to help calibrate it. The dating site aspect is fully functional (over 100 users in the last few days), so that's the "return". You don't necessarily have to make a profile, though that would obviously help if you want to use the dating/matching part. Once it's calibrated, I'll add a typology aspect as well (like OKCupid did 20+ years ago), but for now I need "pioneer" users. I'll take any help (and feedback) I can get - thanks! -Tyler (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=TlO7ZTsAAAAJ&hl=en)
Interested in moral dilemmas, personality, and behavior when navigating complex situations? You might want to take my survey!
I am collecting participants for a research study on how individual differences, like certain personality traits, impact our moral decision making!
If you are interested in taking my survey, here is the link.
It should take 10-15 minutes of your time and all responses are completely anonymous! Results will never be published as this is for a mock study to practice conducting research.
As per request for my job I did the personality test on 16personalites.com in 2019. I got "ISFP Adventurer". Today i was curious and did the test again but it came out as INFJ... Probably i didnt answer everything exactly the way i did in 2019... but is is possible to get a different personality type? I feel like both descriptions kinda fit, although i feel like INFJ seems to be a grown up version of ISFP...
Hey everyone,
My favorite part of personality tests is discovering which famous people share my type. So, I've created a quiz that takes this a step further:
For example, if you're an Innovator type like Steve Jobs, you'd get:
The idea: Boost your productivity by following habits of successful people who think like you.
I'd love your thoughts:
I'll share the quiz link once it's ready for testing.
Hi,
I created a personality quiz, which is a good way to get to know someone. These are all hypothetical questions, feel free to answer! For example, would you rather be a fast food or sit down restaurant means, which do you prefer the environment of better? A creative answer, but not necessarily what the question asks for would be, "I'd rather be a fast food restaurant, because I don't want to be sat on for that long of time."
Let me know what you think.
Blue or Red?
Cat or Dog?
Day or night?
Bumble bee or flower?
Rabbit or turtle?
Redwood or buffalo?
Bookstore or library?
Police officer or defense attorney?
Sit down or fast food restaurant?
Rapper or poet?
Democrat or republican?
Judge or jury?
I have found this book marvelous. Unlike the MBTI, it creates a chart instead of one category, and everybody has a different chart with dominant characteristics. This is like a psychological fingerprint of your personality.
I got into this test many years ago and it was a revelation. It was written by some psychologists and MDs to describe NORMAL HEALTHY people, not diagnose mental problems.
I was hoping to find a discussion because upon re-reading recently, I discovered that my two very dominant peaks are actually directly opposed to each other! (basically, I'm a solid INTP with a woo-woo side... wtf?)
You can buy the book to self-test, or take it online for $25 (which is a lot but it has features and deeper analysis than the book). I have also discovered the book in libraries!

I remember the "quiz planets" being the first experience I had with personality tests. Even though I am aware that it was far from a reliable personality measure, much like all the ones I take in the present, it was still fun and something I look upon fondly.
So here is how they are structured: If I remember correctly all of the questions were picture-based multiple choice, in which you were to select one character or item from a list of items, each meant to represent a different aspect or type of personality. There was this one where it asks you "which of these three characters would be most surprising to find living in your closet" and the characters you could select were an evil looking guy in a bunny costume, a little rabbit, and a jumping carrot. If you were to select the Bunny suit guy, then the game would say that you have a "twisted and off-beat sense of humor". The other two also produced similar responses.
Does anyone know of a way I may be able to make a quiz like this(websites I could use, general tips, etc)? Ideally it would be structured with a series of questions, each with characters or objects you can choose and, upon finishing the quiz, it will tell you "you picked this so you are likely to [personality trait]" for each question. I'm aware it's not a REAL personality quiz, and it's a little buzzfeed-y, but I just wanted to share what the quizzes were like with some of my friends without having to buy the game again.
Thanks!
Is a genius more likely to have an INTJ personality, or is that too simplistic? Are there data that can be used to correlate intelligence with personality types? Significant positive or negative correlations would be interesting. What other data correlates with personality types? Gender, age, race, weight, … favorite color, allergies … It would be interesting to find such.

Idk if this kind of question is allowed. I’m trying to find a love language test to see what is my love language. There’s a lot that say free but then at the end ask you to pay for the result. Does anyone know a good actual free one? Even if I have to put my email I’m okay with that
INFP is the most compatible with INFJ, ESFJ, ENFJ, and ENFJ, and the least compatible with ISTJ, ESTJ, ENTJ, and INTJ. But INFJ, ESFJ, ENFJ, these types DON'T want to be partner with INFPs . Then what should INFP do to find a partner?
YES!!! that's right, what you saw is real, this is a Personality Test about shippers. What type of shippers are you?Are you a talkative socialist or a silent creator?

Imagination isn't just a whimsical escape. It’s the cognitive tool that allows you to map out your future, envision goals, and break free from a life of chaos and depression. But if you’re overwhelmed by too many tasks, unsatisfied with your results, or feel trapped by aimlessness, your imagination may be underutilized—or worse, misdirected. Historically, imagination has been at the heart of human progress. Great thinkers like Einstein didn’t just solve problems; they imagined new realities and reshaped the world accordingly.
When you fail to harness this faculty, you’re left adrift, with no clear goals or structure, and that’s when procrastination, frustration, and even depression set in. You might think imagination distracts you from reality, but the truth is, it can be your strongest asset for creating structure. What if, instead of avoiding tasks, you imagined the ideal version of yourself—focused, driven, and efficient? By regularly visualizing a structured day, backed by small, achievable goals, your imagination becomes a tool to overcome chaos.
To start, spend five minutes each day imagining the ideal scenario for your day. This simple practice shifts your mindset from passive to active, giving your life direction and purpose. Imagination, when used correctly, shapes reality.
