Calling all Persona 5 pros in here. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to do a solo Joker/>!Satanael!< only run of Royal, what skills and abilities would you recommend getting for him?

1. Why would akechi assume that everyone would think Joker was behind the mental shutdowns? Since they started way before Joker even moved to tokyo, and i'm sure most, if not all, of the shutdowns took place in tokyo, unless this is another corruption thing I’m sure people would've realised that Joker wasn't anywhere near tokyo during many of the shutdowns.

2. Would Joker'a family not show any sign of concern or anything after hearing about his death?

3. How did the Phantom Thieves get the cognitive Joker into the interrogation room?

4. I generally don't know which parts of it took place in the metaverse and which didnt.

5. Why did Joker have to be in the real interrogation room?

So I've been playing P5R on my switch for the first time while following a guide. After a week I realized it makes playing feel like a chore so I decided to stop using it and play myself. The issue is I don't know whether I should use another profile, which wouldn't track hours or allow anything online related, or just continue off of the save on my main, which would mean I'd have to overwrite everything to replay with the guide. What should I do?

It’s brought up in the game, by I believe Ryuji, but one of the most tragic moments of the series I find, is that if you accept Marukis reality, all of the phantom thieves will forget how they became friends with joker.

Joker met all his friends through helping them with their trauma. Of course all their trauma would be gone if they accept Marukis reality, so they in turn forget how they became friends with joker. The phantom thieves would never remember that joker was the person who helped them the most, and he would just be another friend.

Yet it was a reality joker was seriously considering because he doesn’t even consider himself before his friends. He’s genuinely one of the most self sacrificing / saviour complex characters I’ve seen. He ended up in probation because he wanted to save the women from shido. He awakened his persona to save Ryuji. The first thing he asks when he’s removed from cognition is where his friends are. He took a gamble to get captured and potentially die for his teammates. And all this would be forgotten if he took the deal, and it’s something he would’ve been okay with…

If you decide to not romance anyone, do u get to choose if u wanna spend ur valentines day with Yuske, Ryuji or Mishima or is it always Ryuji?

This whole game’s soundtrack goes so hard. Here I am years later listening to Blooming Villain for the 100th time and still feeling hyped as ever.

So a couple days ago I saw that persona 5 was on sale for $4.99 and I have a friend that’s into persona games but I never tried them so I took this as an opportunity to try something new and so far I love it. I love it so much that I started doing research and saw persona 5 royal which from what I understand is a better version of the game with quality of life changes but is it worth buying for $36 or should I continue playing the original? I would do both but I don’t want to replay something I just finished even though there’s an added semester I’d rather buy royal now and catch back up than do that but I want to know if the experience is actually better. I’m just about after you finish kamoshitas castle and since I know what to do I don’t think it will be hard to catch back up.

I keep trying the game. And how I understand it I need to do the input in a chain then press X. I can get down easily but when the diagonal shows up, I press down and right on the d-pad and it basically does nothing before the time runs out.

during each cut scene, I tell myself I’m going to save and turn it off. But I forget and end up hanging out with a confidant, reading, or watching a DVD. Before I know it, I’m pulled into another cutscene involves me going into mementos, a palace, or the velvet room, and then I forget to save and turn it off again and the cycle just repeats!

I've just started the shadow palace on 11/24 and have haru at rank 4. What days should I go to palace and what days can i visit haru and also do those dates

I was listening to my playlist while in the shower and Cosmic Girl by Jamiroquai started playing. Sometimes when I listen to songs I'll hyper focus on certain things like the drums, guitars, lyrics, singer, and other stuff like that to see what they do in the song. Well this time, I decided to completely ignore Jamiroquai's singing and lyrics, they're not bad at all, I just wanted to focus on the music, and holy shit it's literally just Persona music. Like this sounds like music that would play when your just taking a stroll somewhere and it's perfect.

I know that Shoji Meguro took a lot of inspiration from Jamiroquai for P5, and that they are both Acid Jazz, but it's so cool to hear how similar they are. I kinda want to check out more of his music now and more of the Acid Jazz genre now because this shit slaps!

I've seen a lot of people talk about maruki's palace or kamoshida's palace as being great but I feel like this one goes under the radar a lot. I'm on my replay and I think this palace has some of the best level design out of all of them, there's a lot of shortcuts and I really like the lack of safe rooms since it ends up making the palace actually feel challenging to go through for once (I didn't feel this way for madarame's or kamoshida's as much), and thus makes the safe rooms feel a lot more valuable. The music is basically perfect and is probably the most catchy palace theme in the game, it's super charming.

The visuals are also super good. I think Madarame's palace has better visual variety but they did a great job with this one and it fits the idea of a heist considering it's literally a bank. I'd say the only downside is the boss being not as good as the other 2 before it, but I guess you could say it's thematically fitting considering how pathetic kaneshiro is.

Definitely a top 3 contender for me, in terms of palaces.

Is there any dlc for persona 5? I can't tell. If there is, what is included. I keep googling it but it only ever talks about persona 5 royal. Also, is there a ng+

Hi all! I made a Wordle-like game for guessing Personas from Persona 5 Royal called Personle! Here's a link: https://www.personle.app. It can be pretty difficult for certain Personas! But using the Compendium page can make it easier if you would like to.

I would love if you all could try it out and give me your thoughts :D! I made it with a Persona 5 Royal inspired artstyle, which was honestly really tricky to do for the web IMO haha. Right now, there is the daily play mode, which is where everyone guesses for the same Persona, changing every day. There's also the free play mode, which has infinite guesses for a randomly chosen Persona. I really hope you decide to give it a shot and like it!

Okay so I posted a poll yesterday asking you guys what P5R video you want to see me do and it's looking like I'm going to be talking about that slimy, cowardly, narcissistic, dirty, perverted bastard Kamoshida.

I actually wanted this option to win because I've never despised a video game character more than him so it's going to be very interesting to talk about.

Now before each YT video that I do, I always like to research said topic just to kind of understand everything before I start making the video and that's no different here.

Now I honestly can't believe it took me this long to figure this out because I've played through this game like two or three times already 😂💀

So in the boss fight, you're fighting Kamoshida right? And at one point, you see him take a drink from a huge glass of wine. If you look a little closer, you will see a miniature version of the cognitive version of Ann inside that glass.

Which makes him even more disgusting and unforgivable.

It further drives home the point that he never saw Ann as a human being. He saw her as an object, as well as all the other women that he went after.

We already know a bunch about how horrible of the human being Suguru Kamoshida is but I kind of wish we got backstory about his past. Why is he the way that he is?

He's disgusting don't get me wrong, but I would have found looking into his past very interesting.

But I'm sure you guys probably know about the miniature Ann in the big wine glass. I just felt really dumb that I didn't notice it up until now 😂
