Hi guys, I need help buying a mouse

Hi guys! I recently bought a k95 platinum and a mm800 mouse pad and I'm thinking about changing my mouse to match them. I currently have a logi 502 proteus core mouse. I love my mouse but I've turned into a RBG fanatic, and I want something to match my current peripheral build. I'm looking for a corsair or logitech mouse with RBG lighting, the more the better.

What do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance

EDIT: HAND SIZE 18cm or 7in long by 15cm or 6in. Claw or palm grip. Tend to like mouses on heavy side like my 502. Thanks for the help!!

MOUSE RECOMMENDATIONS?

Was looking to upgrade from my wired G502 I'd like something lighter with basically the same button setup if it were wired I'd like a paracord not that staple wire that logitech uses.

If anyone knows anything about any mouses that are similar to what I'm looking for please drop a link or something.

TouchPad for desktop Windows PC

Hi,
I'm looking for a multitouch enabled touchpad for Windows 10.
I don't know if I'm an oddball, but I love touchpads for browsing and working. And I would love to have one for my desktop PC.
Searching the web I found older discontinued models, like Logitech T650, Dell TP713 and other discontinued products. I found the Apple Magic Trackpad (limited features on Windows). I found the JellyComb, but reviews says it doesn't offer customization such as natural scrolling (scrolling up on the touchpad moves the web-page up on the screen).
It actually annoys me quite a lot that there doesn't seem to be a good touchpad on the market.

Is there anyone here using a desktop touchpad for Windows 10 that they can recommend?

Display suggestions similar to the AOC 24g2u/BK

As it says in the title, i am looking for a display to connect my laptop to when i am at home. Since it is a gaming laptop, i don't want to compromise on the output of this machine. The AOC has been recommended from many sides, but due to the current situation it is not deliverable. Are there any other sisplay that come to mind whith sinilar specs?

Resolution: 1920x1080 Frequency: 144hz (frequency of the laptops display as well) Panel type: IPS Response time: doesn't matter to much, but it sure as hell shouldn't be ghosting while playing high APM games. Price; 150 euros to 250. If you only know the dollar price for your suggestion, please still comment, i will just try and find a seller in europe.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I'm looking to buy a hub for all my peripherals and I had a question about speed/efficiency

I'm looking at these USB type C hubs:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Charging-Ethernet-Compatible-Thunderbolt/dp/B07TVSLDND/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=usb-c+hub&qid=1585479803&sr=8-4

https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Ethernet-Delivery-Charging-Chromebook/dp/B07Z7H3GJK/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=usb-c+hub&qid=1585479803&sr=8-9

It's a USB type C hub which I will be plugging into my laptop in the USB Type-C port: USB 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps) port. At any given time I will generally be using these ports all at the same time almost 24/7:

HDMI plugged into a 1080p 60HZ monitor

USB mouse

USB keyboard with RGB lighting

USB Corsair to 3.5mm jack dongle headphones

USB 3.0 portable HDD

Ethernet port

If I get the one with the VGA port then I'll probably also have a second monitor hooked up with VGA

Whatever USB peripherals I can't plug into the hub due to lack of ports I'll just plug into my laptop's built in ports

The question is will having all of these peripherals plugged into essentially a single USB type C USB 3.1 port overload it/throttle it? Will every input/output be slower/less effective than if I were to plug them all into their own respective ports? Are there any downsides to using a single port hub to connect 6-7 peripherals or is the USB Type-C port: USB 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps) port tough enough to handle all of that traffic?

I really don't know much about this kind of thing so I'd really appreciate any help I can get!

[PC][Mouse] Looking for recommendations to replace my Deathadder

I've had my current Deathadder for 3 years (before that I had an Intellimouse for 7-8 years) and the left click has been acting up, to a point where if I want to hold LC, I have to press it hard and in a specific position - repair is not an option.

I have a decent sized hand (18,9 cm/7.44 inches) from middle finger tip to base of palm) and I like how the Deathadder fits my hand, so I'm looking for something similar but is more durable.

I've tried a smaller mouse but I hate them as my hand starts cramping up over extended sessions, so smaller than an intellimouse is a no go.

I mainly play FPS games when using a mouse, so please keep that in mind.

what are your favorite peripherals?

what are your favorite peripherals?

mine are
headset : logitech g430
mouse: daedalus apex moba gaming mouse logitech g303

keyboard: ducky one blue led cherry speed silver

unfortunately these peripherals are discontinued and im unable to obtain them without paying a huge price from overseas shipping etc.

they were the first peripherals i've chosen to buy after using typical random no name peripherals that i never cared about.

i really got accustomed to them and relaly loved them as they were just so good, (mic of the g430 was crisp and clear according to my friends, ducky keyboard was simple solid sturdy aesthetic and lasted a good while before the bottom left CTRL key stopped working (2-3 years) the daedalus apex mouse was so good for playing dota i gotten used to it however they dont sell it anymore and it costs x10 the price to get now)
so sad they don't sell theses peripherals, i've replaced them with later versions (logitech g433 headset, daedalus g302 prime mouse, ducky one 2 blue led tkl cherry brown)
however it'll never replicate the exact same setup/feelings as my former .

[PC][Other] Ideal Triple-Monitor Solution (XPS 13 7390 Developer Edition)

My employer is moving me from a Latitude 5580 to an XPS 13 7390 Developer Edition (Ubuntu 18.04).

As I understand, the XPS 13 7390 has three ports (excluding audio jack and card reader):

  • 1 x USB 3.1 with Power Delivery & DisplayPort (shape: USB-C)
  • 2 x Thunderbolt™ 3 with Power Delivery & DisplayPort (4 lanes of PCI Express Gen 3) (shape: USB-C)

I work from home. I've been using two monitors:

  • HDMI: Dell UP2516D 2560x1440 @ 60 Hz (landscape)
  • VGA: Dell P2014H 1600x900 @ 60 Hz (portrait)

I have an additional P2014H and I'd love to run a PLP setup.

I know that in certain configurations, Intel graphics can drive three monitors, with the caveat being that the laptop's own display must be shut off.

How can I drive my PLP setup in the most optimum way possible? Is my dream even possible?

I'm aware of:

The problem is that the CalDigit TS3 can't drive more than two displays, and I'm wary of DisplayLink support on Linux.

Do I need to use a dock to drive two of the monitors, and then an additional USB-C to DisplayPort cable? I have a RayCue USB-C Hub with HDMI out on hand.

Please correct any misconceptions I have. I know that measuring out the necessary bandwidths can be tricky.

(Ideally I'd also like this to all work with my personal HP Spectre x360 ac130xx as well!)

If I move the mouse a tiny amount, it doesn't register WHY!?

Hi there. Whatever mouse I seem to use, cheap or expensive over the years, I've always thought my aim was terrible because I'm now an older gamer (36).

But what I've realised over the last few months is that I can't get pixel perfect accuracy because my mouse never registers tiny movements. E.g. If I move my mouse slowly for long enough, I can get it from one end of the mouse mat to the other without the cursor even moving. Why is this?

I've tried different DPI settings, and that doesn't seem to work (I still have to move the mouse enough to register, just that it zips across the screen quicker when it does register), and I've even tried different mouse mats to no avail.

What am I missing!? Do I just need to buy a super, pro gamer, chad mouse!? Best mouse I've ever had was a Razer Deathadder.

[PC][Other] Looking for AC powered USB hub with USB-C and USB-A inputs (that outputs via USB-A connection)

Hi all,

I'm looking for an AC powered USB hub to connect via USB A to my iMac. I'm looking for something that will accept USB-A and USB-C inputs. Does that exist? I'm having a hard time finding something like this. Appreciate help and suggestions.

Best gaming headset for under $115?

I’m getting a gaming setup, and have already bought the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition, Razer Ornata Chroma, Razer Flytrap, and the Razer Kraken 7.1 v2. Unfortunately, the Kraken’s right ear’s sound stopped working and now I’m looking for a better headset. Any ideas?

Why are a good portion of computer peripherals black plastic?

I sat down at my computer the other day and went to grab my tablet, only to find that its cord had gotten entangled in my headphone and keyboard cords and I wondered why all of these peripherals were, well, black? Black monitor, black keyboard, black headphones, black mouse - heck, even black computer tower! Why are they all black plastic? I know a good portion of these can come in different colors, or silver/grey, and be lit up in whatever color you want, but...a good lot of them are molded in black plastic. Why? Is black the new black?

In the 80-90s they were all that ugly off-cream color, especially with computer towers, did it simply transition into black because it looked cooler?

Sorry if this has been asked before and I've missed it. Google has found me nothing.

Generic LED Controller Software?

I bought a cheap "LVLUP" brand mouse that has RGB lighting, but it constantly cycles colors which is a bit annoying. Is there any software out there I could use to control peripheral LEDs?

Suggestions for new "gaming" headphones

I wanted to buy myself a new pair of headphones. I only use them for gaming purpose and listening to music/ internet content. I got stuck with the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO. I know that they are studio headphones and that they are only stereo but I don't really know if "surround sound" is the way to go for gaming. As you see I am really confused by the variety of headphones on the market currently. Can someone please help me?!

Alternative mouse for razer naga, shape?

Hello guys!

I am looking for an alterative mouse for the shape of the razer naga. It doesn't need to have lots of buttons. I just really love the shape of the naga.

I saw the ducky secret m mouse has the bulk at the back which looks like the naga.

Thanks :)

Mechanical relatively cheap keyboard recommendation

I usually play GW2 , LoL and that sort of things , and use the laptop / pc for coding so i was hoping to get an inexpensive keyboard that doesn't have to look anything special . I was using the flat laptop like keyboard from logitech and now i was thinking about g413? Id prefer if it was as quiet as possible.

Looking for a new Headset, but need something specific.

I currently use a LogiTech G933 wireless headset for all of my gaming needs. I've had a lot of issues with it however, and have had it warranty replaced on two separate occasions. Problem is, one feature that I love so much I cannot live without it is the auto mute when the mic is flipped up. I'm looking for another wireless headset with that same capability, that is quality. Price isn't an issue for something that fits my needs without being as garbage as the G933.

Going with something like a Blue Yeti is not an option, as I often have to turn around to talk to the girlfriend, yell at the dogs, cough, sneeze etc and its so convenient to not have to remember where a button is and hit it in time. Flipping up the mic to mute is so convenient and easy to do.

Thanks so much.

PC Gaming/Editing Monitor

Hello everyone. Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm new here.

I purchased a new PC this weekend, and I need to get monitors as well. The system has an intel i9 CPU, 2080 TI, 64 GB RAM system, so this should be able to handle pretty much anything I throw at it. I wasn't looking to spend a ton more on the monitors, ideally, but being that the rest of my system has high end equipment, I'd like to get quality monitors as well.. Are there any suggestions you guys have? I will be using this PC for gaming, video editing, streaming, podcasting, internet browsing, sports watching, and whatever else I can think of. My budget is under $800 (Less than that ideally, $800 is probably the max I can do) for the two (or three if the price works out) monitors combined. I'm currently using a Macbook pro, so I don't have any monitors at all.
