hey! what is the best first pebble? I don't want to spend more than 70€ on it (I would be using it as my daily driver) any suggestions?
One thing that has never been particularly reliable on Pebbles is the biometrics. Step counts are fairly accurate, heart rate not so much, and all the modern sensors (blood oxygen, breathing, HRV, etc.) are completely missing.
I've solved this problem by wearing an Oura ring along with my sensor-free OG Steel. That lets me monitor my health data on my phone, but I miss being able to see it on my wrist. It's one of the few things I appreciate about my Galaxy watch, which I wear almost exclusively when exercising. I'd love to keep my Steel on instead when working out (more durable, more waterproof, easier to read in many lighting conditions) and be able to monitor things like heart rate and exercise zone.
I'm not a watchface coder, but is there anyone out there in a similar situation who could develop a face that supports data from the open Oura API? It would be such a cool way to make our ten year old watches a little more modern and useful here in (almost) 2025.
found a ptr for 70 bucks and am thinking if i should buy it or not. is it good for daily use? i dont really need heartrate and all that jazz i already have a huaweri band and miband but i love how the ptr looks. or should i go with a samsung fit and such since samsung pay is on the fit.
Hi anyone order for new bands for these Bangle Js 2 watch from Amazon?
Can you share a link ? Which one to get good bands
I tried apple health reminder and setting an alarm. Both didn’t work. I know I am the problem but between work stress and just laziness on the couch I often go way to late to bed. I want to change this hope pebble can be my hero.
PTS or PTR are my go to watches. Any suggestions?
I have tried a few that used to work but aren’t now.
I have a custom watch face that presents weather, it’s my daily face and it’s not working anymore for weather only.

I've been using the Battery+ app for several weeks and frequently it reads almost 11 days remaining, even though my average before charging is 2d 2h and max is 4d 11h?
Hey! any Pebble Time Steel for sale, in really good condition in Europe? I'm in Italy and don't want to pay for expensive shipping. Pebble 2 would be nice as wel!
or is it just painted of some mixture that doesnt use gold? am just curious and want to know.
The other day I made a post asking what is the best pebble between the PT and PTS. I'm also searching for other good alternatives (alternatives that don't cost 1k like Garmin watches). Something with physical buttons, multi-day battery life etc... Do you have any suggestions? I'm currently using a Fossil Gen 5 (wear os) but I'm tired of the 1 day battery life
I know Pebblebot repairs is still doing repairs on the side, but I’d really like to get my Pebble up and running as soon as possible.
I have a swollen battery on a PTR if tht matters, it popped the glass piece off 🥲 Thanks!
Folks, I recently saw a Kickstarter campaign from Pocuter for the Spectra watch! It is very similar to the Pebble but it is a touchscreen with oled display. I was curious what people think of it?
So I've finally found a worthy (but pricey) alternative and I've been been with Pebble since pretty much the beginning.
The Garmin Fenix 8 with the Solar/MIP display that functions almost identically to the e-paper display of the Pebble, is what I've moved on to. Garmin finally added a microphone to it that connects to my Android assistant, I turn the screen touch off, you can customize shortcuts to mimick Pebble and it's pretty much the same watch except..
-I'm at 32 days estimated battery life from full charge
-Has a flashlight that I use way more than I expected
-Garmin Pay
-Plus all of the Garmin fitness tracking
Is all that worth the $1200 price tag? That's a lot of money and I still have a hard time justifying it, but I haven't thought about my Pebble watch since switching over about 1 week ago 😬
Hello. As title. I have a full Pebble collection (bar the Time - which I think I don't need since I have Time Steel). However, I'd like to have the metal straps as they wear so much better than the leather bands.
I found one seller on ebay but it's only the 20mm silver for round (I have a black round) and the silicone straps (22mm) for time steel.
So I thought I could give you an excuse to show off the watch strap colour combos. I am not sure the silver bracelet will go with the black round. And equally I cannot find an official black bracelet strap for my black time steel (I have the gold for, obviously, the gold time steel!).
Hey! My birthday is in about 3 weeks and I want to get a Pebble!
I originally thought about getting a Pebble classic because they're cheap, but it has the black and white display and it's old...
Then I thought about the pebble time: they're like 10 bucks more but I'm scared that the plastic border scratches too easily. Am I wrong?
Now I want to buy a Time Steel.
P.S. does evernote (or another note app) work on Pebble?)

Which one should I buy?
I'm in the process of de-google-ing my phone, and one major concern is my Pebble. It seems that Pebble is built to coexist with Google. I want to keep using the Pebble app rather than Gadget bridge, but I'm wondering what issues I will face. Can I integrate a non Google calendar, like Nextcloud? What other issues will I need to prepare for?
So far it seems to be working just as well as it did in 14. Just updated my phone and all I had to do was re-enable permissions, sames as the last couple updates. Notifications and music controls working the same as previous android versions. Of course you will still need to connect it to a PC and use dev tools if you need to install the app fresh.
I am able to install the Pebble app to my iPhone 13PM running iOS 18. I can also connect my pebble to it. However, when I do the "Switch to Rebble" step from the browser, pebble app just freezes unless I either pull down the notification panel or just open recent app drawer. It unfreezes the app but I never get the rebble setup screen. Also in the app if I tap Notifications or Settings section, the app just crashes.
I have reinstalled the app via Sidestore multiple times in every possible way successfully. Same results. I installed using Altstore, again same results.
Does anyone have thes solution for it? I am using iphone 13PM with backup ipa from purchased.
I can still get a full working day from my Pebble Time Round, but replacing the battery may be coming up in the near future. I have the battery and guide from iFixit, but I would really prefer to have experience with opening and making this repair before I crack open my daily driver.
Does anyone have a Pebble Time Round, preferably the 20mm, that is in decent physical condition but is in any working condition that they would be willing to sell off?
