TL;DR: Do you provide higher-paying patrons access to more content than those in lower tiers and think that scheduling is a pain in Patreon? New FREE and OPEN-SOURCE Chrome/Firefox extension called Scheduleon: A Patreon Tier Scheduler just dropped, which makes scheduling for different tiers an a lot better experience. More information can be found by clicking here.
Are you one of the hundreds of Patreon creators who offer higher-paying patrons access to more chapters than those in lower tiers? If you are, then you've most definitely found scheduling posts in Patreon for patrons an absolute pain.
I've talked to a handful of Patreon creators and majority of them have complained about the abysmal scheduling experience in Patreon: currently, if an author is providing advanced chapters to higher tiers, then they will first make it available to the highest paid tier and then subsequently edit that post each time it is time for the lower tiers to get access to that post, and, even then, there are issues of the lower tiers not being notified of the post being made available to them.
One can imagine the amount of time and effort this takes for creators who have to keep track of 10 or even 20+ chapters per week. All in all, it's an extremely time consuming and aggravating process for the creator.
This is why i came up with my extension Scheduleon: A Patreon Tier Scheduler. This extension solves the described problem by allowing creators to choose multiple tiers when scheduling posts and choosing a specific time and date for each selected tier.
Here's an image of the "Scheduling Options" a user of Scheduleon can expect to see (Note that I purposely had my test creator have multiple tiers for demonstration purposes):
It's a pretty simple solution, but it does work! In this case, Scheduleon will schedule one post per tier selected, which you will see in your Library page as you would for any other scheduled or submitted posts.
You can find more info by visiting the extension's website at scheduleon.net

I noticed my public page only shows the "PAID MEMBERS" count. Is there a way to show my TOTAL count including the FREE members so that the number is a lot higher? Thanks everyone.
Curious what everyone's experience has been. I was doing amazingly well getting about $200 per month in new signups until November. Growth is definitely slowing down. I think I made only 20 bucks more in Nov than Oct and December isn't looking great as I seem to be treading water with slightly fewer subscribers than November.
I've been working on new offerings that I'm confident and excited about so I'm hoping that will reverse the trend, but I'm curious if this might reflect a broader trend
I'd like to pause a membership (kind of lost interest at the moment), but since that's not possible I'll have to cancel and re-subscribe later. Will I get an entirely new private RSS link if I re-subscribe?
There are almost 250 episodes in the feed. I don't want to lose track of my listening history, which is the one reason I haven't canceled yet. I don't feel like taking page-by-page screenshots of PocketCasts to use as a history file.
I've tried Googling for the answer but all the questions are about keeping downloaded episodes after canceling. Thanks in advance!
Patreon newbie here (current patron & future creator) and I don’t see the answer in FAQ or elsewhere. In the iOS mobile app once I finish viewing a video post, it disappears from the list (not just from the continue watching section, but from the whole list of posts). Is this a bug/feature of the mobile app, or a setting that the creator sets? (The watched videos are still there in the browser version).
So, I've been struggling in getting any patrons for my Patreon account and I was wondering if it's still possible to gain new patrons if you have a small YouTube channel? For me, I currently have 743 subscribers on YouTube and I've been struggling with getting new patrons for my Patreon account and I was thinking that the reason why I've been struggling was because I have a small YouTube channel.
When someone is refunded, can they still see posts?
I've just created a Patreon page and when I try to configure my account, under the heading "Monetization" it says "Disabled," therefore I cannot set tiers or anything.
I've searched the help but nothing. What can be happening?
Sorry for such a stupid question 😭 I'm very confused. So I started a Patreon to post art of my OCs. I have a ton of art of them I don’t wanna spam on my art accounts. The ones I want to post now are just sketches. Do I create a “collection” and just upload all of them there at once? It’s like a folder & each time I upload a sketch I put it there? Or do I make a new collection each time and add more sketches as I go?
More context: I have three paid tiers; one for sketches only, one for fully completed work and sketches, and one for timelapses/speedpaints (that also includes completed works/sketches)
How do I go about uploading all of this. I’m very confused, sorry
I’m considering doing like a “book club” type of situation on Patreon, with content centered around different books and discussion. Is there a way I can set it up to where people don’t necessarily pay like per month, but they can pay to access each book’s discussion? So they can choose which ones they see and don’t see?
I have looked high and low for an answer, but can find none. How do I remove a creator from the side panel on the left when I have already stopped being a member and stopped following? (Payment tag, as I don't know what else to put this as.)
Hi there.
As the title asks, have you ever had to block a paying supporter on patron? I am faced with this dilemma, but feel two ways about it.
The person in question, has been disrespectful towards me and my collaborators. Spams complaints about the price of my tiers (Proceeds to renew, then complains again and tells me I should lower my prices as he feels ripped off). He was recently blocked by two of my collaborators on their Patreon pages for spamming their comments sections calling them scammers and bad people because one of them didn't respond to his spam comments within an hour or two. And he does this all the time. Expecting creators to answer pretty much immediately, else he'll comment on every post, all collaborators posts too demanding and answer (Sometimes less than an hour after asking the question).
Is it acceptable to just straight up block this guy? It feels dehumanising. I feel like he uses his support as an excuse to justify this behaviour on some "Customer is always right" BS. But I honestly won't miss his pledge anyway 🤣🤣. Plenty of actual decent supporters who don't do this
I noticed after I made a post about how bad the UI is that there was a noticable change in it, im not about to take credit for it but in the off chance someone was browsing who works there and saw it I just have to say this.
Please make it so it remembers where you are on someones page, I’ll find myself scrolling a page for 5 minutes just to get to the middle section of a long list of podcasts, click and watch that podcast and then after the episode is over instead of easily just backing out to their page and it remembering where you were so you can easily select the next episode, it will automatically unload everything so you have to manually swipe through hundreds of episodes just to get to the next one, every single time.
At the very least can we get a “play this episode next” button? Or like how spotify lets you queue a bunch of songs?
I cant even remember what ui I complained about before but im pretty sure it got fixed.
Right now the app works exactly how i like it my only gripe is that it doesnt remember where you are on someones page when you start a new episode and close your phone
Asking this with things like Twitch subs, YouTube channel members, patrons, etc. in mind. Is there a way you centralize your bonus content, livestreams, posts, etc.? Like, rather than posting the same thing on every platform, do you centralize them on Discord or something else?
I was thinking of using Discord or maybe an e-mail list than only members/subscribers/etc. can sign up to?
Hello, so I've faced the problem where I couldn't withdraw my earned money to my PayPal because it turned out that Patreon doesn't support "my country". And yeah, while I am from the country that doesn't have PayPal's support, RIGHT NOW I reside in Poland that technically should be supported.
I made a new PayPal account, though I'm not sure if it will work, considering that I still use the card I got in my country. Any tips? Does it have anything to do with Patreon rather than PayPal?
I made a patreon account a while back, I had a member account that I switched to a creator account. My member account has a clear email and password but there seems to be a separate account that is my creator account that has no email attached. I’m trying to understand how this works… is my creator account tied to my member account and if I can log into my member account I automatically have access to my creator account? Or is something just up with the IT for the app and website for me?
Hey guys, i have 200 subs this month. Pateron says I have 212 people paid and my memberships are 5 and $10usd... 90% of my pateron subs have gone the $10 route.
What's going on? Why isn't it 212 x 10? Obviously there are some fees which would probably be 200 - 400 dollars per $2000, but 896 seems a joke...
Hey! I'm a young writer, and I write a lot of these short flash-fiction type stories while working on my novel. My idea was to publish them to patreon, to make a bit of cash, while also starting a social media account specifically for that patreon and those stories to drive attention. I have 100 followers on my main account, which has a bit to do with writing, but I will be starting a new account that only posts story hooks to those full length tales. Is it a good idea to go ahead and start the patreon now along with the account, or promise one and build up the social media account first? I do have a decent group of people who might subscribe from an online writing community, but I'll actually lose access to that platform after today.
Both are different tiers. It‘s charging upfront too. So why does both of them show they loose access in 1 month. An why does one have a cancel date and the other a - ?
Does this mean they can access the patreon? I‘ve been trying to figure out the answer to this since a while but it‘s always a 'maybe'
I ran a sale on my Patreon last month for Black Friday, with the option to have the discount public on my page toggled on. That discount has since expired and I wanted to run another discount. I’ve set it up but the toggle to display it publicly is greyed out, because you can only have one displayed at a time. I checked the last expired one and it’s still marked as displayed publicly, even though it’s expired, and the option to turn it off is greyed out too. So basically I can’t turn off the old expired discount or turn on the new one either.
I’ve tried deleting the promotion entirely but the only options it gives me when I click more (•••) are “Edit” and “Duplicate.” Anyone ever experience this? It’s been over 2 weeks since my last promotion ended and everything else seems fine. I could of course just let it go and try promoting the discount elsewhere but I would like for my natural traffic to see the option. Is this a glitch or is there something else I don’t know about? Is it because current memberships redeemed the code? Specifically looking for advice on how to delete the old discount or why I can’t.
One was a "highlighted" tier so I thought it was just showing the one tier twice but I actually have two tiers with the same price and people subscribed to both.. is there a way to merge them or delete one without losing people?
Patreon doesn't offer identity card for verification in my country, they only allow passports.
So I just subbed to someone for discord access, but now Patreon is being stubborn and not showing me any way to connect the two, so is discord atm and it's driving me insane
Hey all,
I have some content on Patreon and have gotten a decent following. However, I noticed that there is 1 member who always subs then immediately cancels (I know this is normal and they typically still get charged). However, this person is interesting because they don't show up on my Audience Manager to verify they are paying. After doing some digging I realized they blocked me (I don't sub to anything on Patreon so it wasn't like they blocked me for anything of substance)
So my question is. Are they able to see my content without paying because they've blocked me? Are there any reasons why I would get blocked as a content creator even though they still subscribe?
I have over 8k subs on YouTube, 109k on TikTok, over 1k in IG, but... NO PAID PATRONS.
I'm wondering if it's even worth my energy to try to get it off the ground when I've had it for months with NO PAID SUPPORTERS.
Like maybe I should just delete it before anyone joins?
I don't promote it very often (monthly maybe?)
Maybe I should just focus on paid products and services?
❔️What would you do? What things should I consider before making a decision?
I'm a bit lost in trying to become a full-time content creator.
Since last week when I go to the share sheet I can only share the promo card and the clips is not showing. Any tips?
Hi everyone,
I recently faced a ban on Patreon due to a misunderstanding regarding their policy on external links. I was offering free previews of my work on another platform, but it was interpreted as redirecting for exclusive content, which wasn't my intention.
Patreon has informed me that I can reapply after two months by emailing their Trust & Safety team with a detailed project plan. They also mentioned that any new page opened without their approval will be removed.
How did you approach reapplying?
