What's the way around this guys? I"m just selling some "Party" style content with girls twerking and what not. Any help or way around this would be great!
Hello Patreonites,
I have a Math Education channel that's been growing slowly, and I thought I'd link it to a Patreon site. But I can't seem to decide what features to have for which tiers. Right now I have two tiers at $3 and $5.
I figured the lower tier would give people access to 'early content', and the $5 would be everything you get for the lower plus maybe 'exclusive content', and maybe documents that they can access giving summaries of the Math we did in each video.
I could give them access to to the Patreon messages and / or Discord channel, however I'm not sure if I should do this for everyone or just the 'higher' tier,
Is anyone in this type of content area, and how have you approached these decisions ?
I don't even know for sure if people will go for this....but I do have some subs that watch everything and I get lots of positive comments. Currently 335 subs on YouTube.
A penny for your thoughts PATREONES !

The left hand navigation menu does not work! It has not worked for several days, anyone experiencing this issue need to contact patreon to get their butts in gear!
I have a customer who has joined at a membership tier that gets them a physical product once a month. The customer has not let me know their shipping address and won't respond to my efforts and trying to get that information. the customer has paid for November product. how should I handle this?
Hi all, so im just starting out and would love to hear some advice. So i’ve read the average conversion is around 1%, does it mean if i post to lets say 10 subreddits, and each got at least 10 views, I would get 1 new PAID sub? I totally understand its all individual but any experience you guys dont mind to share? I read some comments folks saying they get 3-5 subs daily which sounds insanely good to me, as it sums up to 90-150 subs a month? Would i get that with my 13$ a month and no followings at all, only mass posting? Sorry if its a stupid question, just need some direction so i dont have wrong expectations lol
I've always used the "Billed for (month)" button to sort through Patrons properly since I send out physical rewards through the mail on a monthly basis. I went in to do the same this month and the option/button to sort through my audience this way is gone. I was hoping to figure out if it was put somewhere else, or if there's a way to filter my audience to get the same results. I haven't had any luck so far. Thank you for your help!
I just got my account and first paid sub, and I gotta admit it takes forever to upload any video file. Anyone else have this problem, or is this just the way Patreon is.
Hello everyone.
I've just created a Patreon today, for people to comission both normal and adult pieces of writing from myself for a fee. I've also set a base and advanced tier for £5 and £10 respectively with various benefits.
I'm aware I'm probably massively on the cheap side here but thought it might be better as a starting point. So I'm interested to know, those of you who do write and charge for it, what sort of prices are commonly deemed reasonable and what's too far?
I will add that for comissions, I've said there's no set price, it'll depend on what they want me to write for them and the size.
So, I've been getting into making CustomGPTs recently. I've been mostly creating and using prompts, but since switching to CustomGPTs I don't think there's any going back...
The CustomGPT I am linking is to help creators with their Big Purpose statement, basically a community vision. It will take you through a set of questions and then generate some Big Purpose statements for you. It's helpful if you are thinking of starting on a community-specific platform, e.g. Discord, or just building more of a community-style model around your content.
I was using it as a prompt first and I gave it to some friends, but since they liked it I decided to make it into a CustomGPT and it also works better.
It's entirely free to use and only requires a free OpenAI/ChatGPT account: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-0BroPY9Vq-bigpurposegpt
Oh, and if there is any feedback you have, even if you think it is not good, please let me know!
Idk if this is the right place to put this since I don't have my own patreon page, but here goes
this popped up on the side of one of the patreon's that I am a paid member of, can anyone tell me what it is, google is not being very helpful (I blacked out the community name if ur wondering what that is)
I looked around this sub too, but I am still a little confused
If I use my debit card for a sub through PayPal, will the bank statement say "PayPal" or "Patreon"? My parents can see my bank statements, so to avoid questions, I'd rather them not see what I'm paying for. So I'm hoping it says PayPal. Much thanks for feedback
The pricing is not changing for any creator on the iOS app I signup for. Am I missing something? The whole November 1st change was based on iOS pricing and it's not even working!
This goes for SWF & NSWF creators - neither have a price increase. (You can sign-up for 18+ creators in the app. Searching 18+ creators works only with an extra step. I can explain it in the comments if any are interested.)
My patreon is set at $10 / month but I have a new member for 5 euros? https://i.imgur.com/6aEiMSx.png
The exchange rate is not 2:1, so how did this patreon pay half the regular price?
edit; I have just had a look and it says they are a free member so where did the 5 euro come from 😅
I’ve recently started a patreon, and I publish links but the cover image just shows the reader the 🔗 icon. I was hoping I could change it to a photo for each specific article? Is that possible
I’m a non-US citizen and I want to fill out the W-8ben form so I can get paid. But when I followed the instructions that said go to the tax settings section, it doesn’t show up on my account. What’s going on?
Is there a ways to revert the changes from charge upfront to monthly? My billing method got changed.
Its making sending rewards in a batch hard as I'm using the basis of sending the message to members that paid for a particular month.
So a friend of mine is having issues with his home page. According to him, the left tab (which displays the "Home", "Community", "Settings" and etc) just disappeared for some reason. He cannot see it or access anything that's normally found on it. And he can't even log out of it because his name is also on the left tab.
I am not having this issue but he is. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a fix for it?
So I see a lot of small-medium sized influencers that could be making a fair bit of extra income if they set up a Patreon. By having exclusive content, behind the scenes footage, or even just a platform to lead towards having community interaction with one another and said influencer. So, would this be logistically possible? If set up with said influencer's email address and payment details (for tax purposes) , what else would you expect a patreon manager to do to warrant a say 20% cut of the influencer's monthly patreon income?
Thank you
When I go on Patreon it redirects me to the Italian version of the website, and BOY is everything there a mess. Straight up Google Translatese, with some sentences definitely unreadable to other native speakers. I'll tell them they should consider taking it down.
Several days ago the sidebar on the patreon website (I am on PC, using Firefox and its up to date) disappeared for me and several other users but a few hours later it was back to normal.
Now the sidebar is gone again for me but a friend of mine says its still there for him (also on PC and firefox). Why is the sidebar gone for some (like me) but not for others (like my friend)
I am so confused.
I was casually checking my Patreon page and saw that my monthly payment was around $1.8k. After a few minutes, maybe 7 or 8, when I went back to my page, I saw a massive drop in my monthly payment—it had literally dropped by $700, now showing $1,162. What happened? I'm so confused.
I'm a minor Patreon user (I won't disclose my name or identity), but I've noticed something unusual with my audience. There are three patrons who subscribed in April(2024), and they last paid for their memberships on the same day they subscribed. Additionally, there's one more patron who paid in May, but since then, their payments have stopped. However, my audience list still shows them as having active memberships.
So, do they still have access to my content? Or is this a system glitch?
My account just got flagged for deletion when i was trying to pay for a subscription and just got a mail saying so. Does taking too long while typing in card information need this type of action?? The least they could do is to atleast show a timer within which the action should be done. Now i have to wait till my request is received and whatever…
What kind of information does the artist know of us when we subscribe? I don't want them to know who I am.
Basically whenever I used to withdraw money earlier from patreon it would be in my paypal in a day. That time it was only under 50 dollar but right now I am trying to withdraw about 90 dollar but it has already been four days..
So how long will it take? I need the money by Monday..
What are the pros and risks of using it?
I’m always thinking. I love coming up with ideas, I love writing, exploring ideas and philosophy. I’ve also played guitar since the young age of 12 I’m now 23. I want to start doing my own thing with my own creativity, and I know patreon can give me that if I’m able to do it properly. The first step would be to find what I want to share with the world. Is it guitar? I write a lot of original fingerstyle music - but is there a market for that? I like writing short essays on mental health and social issues - but who the hell wants to read essays? I’m also not keen on putting my face out there on Instagram and other platforms to direct people to patreon. Playing guitar would be different as my face doesn’t need to be there but for philosophy and essay writing you probably need to make a personality of yourself.
How did you all choose what you wanted to give the world? Did it come easy to you? Or did you have more then one interest and in the same dilemma as I am in now?
How do you find out if there is a market or audience for your stuff?
For those who made a personality of themselves online, did you feel scared? How did you overcome that fear?
I would love everyone’s input :))
trying to figure out the best way to do my archived stories
if I make a tier for my 2023 stories ($15)
and a tier for my 2024 stories ($15)
will people be able to get both of them by only paying $15? (sign up for one, download everything and then switch to the other?) or how does that work exactly
“We do not allow the presence of underage characters in Adult/18+ content.”
Does this mean I can’t show a time skip in the epilogue where the characters are parents?
