Works sometimes, not others.... mainly doesn't work.
I've reset everything, rebooted everything, cleared caches, updated apps... nothing.
Yes, it's the same network.
So... why is this not working?

hello! can I add variety to a shuffle station or do I need to add it to one of the playlists that feeds into the shuffle?
I recently got a notice on my cell phone to renew my Pandora subscription. I normally buy it by the year so when I try to do it through the phone, it only had one option which was 1299 a month I didn’t wanna pay 1299 a month so I waited until I got home and I logged onto Pandora. It allowed me to do the annual renewal for like $56 Now the Pandora only works on my desktop. It’s showing my Pandora on the mobile device as a free user and I cannot get it to recognize that I have an account or a subscription. I keep reading these forms to talk about subscriptions, but nothing makes sense and trying to find somebody at Pandora is impossible because they don’t exist. This is the worst and this will be the last time that I renew with Pandora.
The ads are more spaced out and aren't ridiculously long (2-3 minutes long)
Emphasis on discovering music rather than the Hot 100 algorithm or a "Previously Listened To" playlist
Varied choices when tuning the radio station's song playlist e.g. Deep Cuts, Crowd Faves, Discovery
Many radio stations are available based on the genre, a decade, or an artist.
Downvoting a song instantly plays the next song rather than requiring you to personally find a different tune.
(By the way, the Hall & Oates radio using the Deep Cuts button is SO GOOD.)
I was forced to switch to Spotify about 4 years ago because pandora was not compatible with my new Garmin watch. I figured surely they’d add the compatibility sometime soon….4 years later

Does anyone know why the Lex Fridman podcast is not available via the Pandora app? I can get all my other favorite podcasts like Making Sense, Huberman Lab, etc., but Lex Fridman is notably absent on Pandora despite having a huge following.

Has anyone had these randomly added to a station? I've started listening to Christmas Traditional Radio, and traditional (old) songs have played that were oddly sped up with no pitch correction. (Not an app error that I'm aware - these are clearly labeled "Sped + Slowed" on the song cover art while playing.) First, who asked for that?!? Andy Williams singing silent night like Alvin and the chipmunks' Days of Swing? Second, there doesn't appear to be any way to tell them to stop playing sped/slowed/otherwise altered songs. If you thumbs down, it affects the whole station algorithm, not just sped/slowed. Anyone know a way around this?
It took Pandora over 2 months to fix ios 18 bugs with CarPlay
My playlist won't download fully anyone know why it won't work?
Is all I can see. I'm in the US and I was using Pandora yesterday, so pretty sure my country or region is not the problem.
Anyone else experiencing this?
This drives me crazy. I will be in the middle of a podcast. Press pause. Put phone down. Later, I pick the phone up to continue to listen to the podcast. What does Pandora do? Goes to the suggestion screen, and my podcast I was listening to isn't there. I then have to search, find it, then start it again.
Why does Pandora do this? It is beyond annoying. It seems to think I will like ghe suggestions. NO I DO NOT LIKE THE SUGGESTIONS. Is there anything I can do to get tge app to stop making suggestions and leave what I have currently playing as is?
I have a Pandora playlist for the hockey locker room that I want to play but phones, or any device with a camera, are strictly forbidden. What could I use to play Pandora on a Bluetooth speaker?

No sorting playlists in your app?
Doing the edit and allowing tracks to be dragged around doesn't work well when you have hundreds of songs in a playlist. Not good ui or user experience. I want to sort by date added.
Using motorola 5g 2024. About the same time that I got this new phone, Pandora was taken over by new owners Siris ?

I'm going to kill myself
I'm allowed to whitelist IP addresses to my company's firewall. Anyone know the appropriate IPs to add please?
Can we get these stupid commercials off the rotation please.
I have an Onn 4k Pro. Love it, except for Pandora. Every now and then, it just sits silently on startup. The little VU meter graphic moves but the tracks don't advance and I don't hear any sound.
I've tried forcing stop and re launching but nothing changes. The only fix is logging out and back in, which is a massive PITA due to lack of QR or similar fast login technique.
Anyone had this and found a cure? Do Pandora staff ever come in here?
The number of Pandora subscribers continues to decline. There are now just under 5.9 million. In the third quarter, 76,000 subscribers left. Compared to a year ago, there are 285,000 fewer subscribers.
How can Pandora stop this decline? I see nothing in the commentary on the quarterly results about improvements to the Pandora music service. It appears that the focus is mainly on content adjustments at SiriusXM (political and sports channels, podcasts).
As long as Pandora’s revenue stays reasonably steady, whether through price increases or not, it seems they are content with the status quo.
I hope for more ambition.
(I’m still a fan. I live in the Netherlands, listen via VPN, and I’m a Pandora Plus subscriber.)
Does pandora tie that to your account overall, or does it tie it to the station playing? Or is it something more in the middle?
Like, if you make a new station, is it brand new? Or is it "new" but borrows from all your past decisions? And, would stuff up and down voted on that station impact the older ones?
For example. Let's say the two genre's of music I love are hard metal, and soft yacht rock. You know, the yacht rock for working out, and the metal for bed time.
So if I don't want any Christopher Cross or Steve Winwood coming on and waking me up when I'm trying to get to sleep, could I dislike those artists on my metal lists, without it impacting the play rate on their own stations, and vice versa?
Basically, can you farther curate stations by down-voting songs you like, but they will only play less on THAT station?
I would hope that's the case, but, I could also see it just, always applying to the account as a whole too.

Does anyone know how downloaded content actually works, question? It seems very inconsistent. If I download a whole album, the individual songs don't seem to show up as being downloaded. And then in playlists. I can't seem to download an entire playlist at all, when it had those same songs/albums in them. I want to have downloaded songs, albums, and artists in playlists so that I can listen off line to a shuffle but it doesn't seem to be very possible.
My app keeps crashing or skipping a bunch of songs and then playing them all at once layered on top of each other. Is anyone else having these issues and have you found a fix?
