Title. I don’t work for pandora, just an idea I have. I think they could cash in on the AI craze right now if they did this. Have it talk between every few songs, with an option to turn it off for people who just want music.
Everytime you connect to cellular or WiFi it refreshes the downloaded songs or something?
So I just downloaded Pandora again (fresh account) after several months away because of the shuffle station feature. In my shuffle playlist I have 15 stations.
Why is it that when I start Pandora 9 times out of 10 it gives me a song I just heard yesterday and thumbsed up? On top of that, of the 5 songs it just fed me, 3 were already thumbsed up. I don't listen to this that much, so you mean to tell me of the thousands of songs that could be on 15 stations I can only hear the same couple?
No better than normal radio at that point.
I've been a Pandora free listener for years. My Pearl Jam station is awesome because of the titles I gave thumbs up to. It really shaped it into something I love. This morning is the first time in a few weeks I fired it up through WAZE and noticed there is now Pearl Jam radio, and Pearl Jam Thumbs Up radio. I tried clicking the latter and it said Premium Subscription required. WTF? Can I no longer listen to the station I created unless I'm premium?
In the last month, music will stop playing when my phone is off and not connected to Bluetooth (for example: it will just shut off after the song finishes and the playlist/album/station will go back to the very first song that was played and just pause). This doesn’t happen when my phone is connected to Bluetooth, only when it’s playing out loud or connected to wired headphones. It also doesn’t happen when my phone screen is on. I’ve contacted support twice about it but nothing has changed.

I have an LG Smart TV. Recently whenever I go to open my Pandora account my my TV all I get is the blue background screen with the Pandora Icon in the top left corner of the screen as well as the Now Playing, My collection, Setting, and Upgrade but nothing else. I have let it set for more then an hour at a time with it not playing my music what so ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So I've used Pandora for at least 10 years, and in the past few weeks, I've noticed that Pandora isn't reflecting song's that I've liked when they come on.
When I went to my profile, I found something startling.
I've thumbed-upped (liked) 547 songs. But when I look at my profile's main page on mobile, it says 263 - same for desktop. But on mobile, when I hit the "thumbs" tab, it reflects the accurate 547. Not on desktop at all.
In fact, on desktop, I have to click the station name to see what I've liked, and sure enough, I'll see a song I just re-liked today, that I had liked years ago.
Today alone I re-liked at least 15 songs, some of which I knew 100% I already had.
What is even weirder is I checked songs I hear today that I knew I'd liked before, and a few had likes, but a lot did not.
I've been liking a lot of new songs recently, so I imagine that is playing a role, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. One of the songs I re-liked was from just a couple weeks ago, which frustrated me because it is my favorite song.
Problem! I am a submariner. I go under water for months at a time, after 30 days… I lose all my music. If I could pay for my saved channels for a year, could it be possible to let me have them for a year (or like 4 months?!) without connecting to a network?
Everytime I find a thread about this people say it got resolved awhile ago with an update but pandora on my phone is still randomly opening and blasting music in the middle of the night. Doesn't ever do it during the day, it's always like 2-5am. The app doesn't need updated, I already went through all my settings to check if that had something to do with it. I've deleted and re-download the app. Do I just need to delete it for good?
Since they have improved SiriusXM audio quality, why can’t they do the same for Pandora?

Hey has anyone successfully got a subscription canceled and refund for a charge?
2000s* I was committed to paying for YouTube music but then when I was on my computer it kept censoring me for 5 year old child censorship. That’s awesome fun and frustrating. I have been using YouTube longer than a 5 year olds been alive. So I’m confused and so should anyone reading this. Anywho I’ve always danced back and forth between Ytube and Pandora. Fuck spotfy that is for unexplora-tive people 🤷♀️ it’s just as bad as driving around in a cart at Walmart, but you know you actually can walk and have knees that still work. 2024 is the opposite of what I thought my 6 year old self envisioned my 35-year-old self would be experiencing. Shits f*cked 💁♀️ Sorry the world made me this way💃
Well this would be why I don’t pay for Pandora. Trash, if I paid I’d be furious it doesn’t work in my car. It has been almost a month since it’s been released. Love watching the form of all the people dumping your service over the lack of fixes.
Any advice on why Pandora lost my account and how I can get it back? It didn't accept my login then when I tried 'Forgot password' it emailed me saying "You asked to reset a password for an email address that hasn't been registered on Pandora." This is despite the fact that this is the same email address that I initially signed up with and have been using since 2016. And this same email address has all the past emails from pandora as recent as June and July of 2024.
As soon as I open Pandora on my phone(Android) it loads, then crashes right before the music plays. I have to reinstall the app just to use it. any fixes?
Every time I play my playlist on random, either with my phone, android auto or my Alex devices, Pandora will just add songs. Some match the genre, some are WAY off. But as a result, they are filled with songs songs that I have to go back and delete.
These playlist were imported from Spotify and I have checked anything that may add songs automatically and nothing is checked. The strange thing is, of 4 that I imported, only 1 will not add songs when I shuffle.
I'm unable to log in on the pandora website. The last time this happened it was due to an outage, but I'm not seeing outage reports right now. Anyone else having issues or is my account messed up?

I wish there was a way to play Pandora on specific devices from the app.
