I been having this problem with my bmw where I start the car and it shakes a bit and the rpm spikes up to 1 after a while the shakiness will go away I took it to a shop and said it was the throttle going off by the scanner but nothing .. any solutions?

I am a Corpsmember with the Watersheds Stewards Program, and I am partnering with Channel Islands Restoration and Friends of the Santa Clara River to host a volunteer event aiming to improve habitat quality for the federally threatened Southern Steelhead Trout. The event is on April 28th, 2024, from 8:30am-12:30pm on the Sespe Cienega Nature Trail at the Fillmore Fish Hatchery, in Fillmore, CA. 

I am seeking volunteers for the event as this will be a great way to learn about the environment, give back to the community, and celebrate Earth Day! The event will include an educational component regarding ethnobotany and native species in local watersheds. There will also be snacks and a raffle for an REI gift card.

I'm looking at a house that is quite near the golf course. Don't kill me if this is a silly question, but is the use of that land as a golf course a stable assumption? I know that golf courses, in general, are less popular than ever. I've been worried that the day will come when that course will get turned into yet another housing development, given the amount of growth that seems to be taking place in North Oxnard.

My last experience at Lenscrafters at Pacific View Mall was not great, my prescription got worse, not better, and I'm on the hunt for a new optometrist. Don't care if it's a chain or a private practice but I need a good optometrist I can trust will be able to properly figure my eyes out.

Live in the 93033 area of Oxnard. Spectrum internet has been going off every two hours for the past 3 days. A tech came out to troubleshoot and just replaced the modem. An hour later internet went out again and doing the same thing, on and off. They’re coming again later today.

But after the Spectrum tech left, a frontier salesperson was in the neighborhood and came by my house. 62.99 for 1 gig/monthly. Currently Spectrum is 76.99 for 1 gig/monthly.

Anyone have frontier fiber and if so how is it? Is it worth the switch?
