I'd suggest precessing by making a valley and mountain at the Engle you want the petals to go. Then just outside reverse fold on that precrease!
Rabbit from to the moon, took more than 2 hour worth it tho
I really want to make origami today but idk which model/video to follow?
Any suggestions for someone whose intermediate level? I’ve made jo nakashimas dragon and turtle in the past for reference?
I’m open to almost anything and I like animals/creatures and modular stuff but I haven’t tried much of that
If you can’t think of something please suggest stuff you like?
My latest project (very proud!)
Designed by Robert Neale, folded by me. Neither of them is quite "correct" as I'm having trouble following the instructions for the head and ears, but I'm pretty happy with them anyway.
Even with sandwich paper, the body and legs are extremely thicc 😩
Made from 10in x 10in Tant paper
I've want to learn weltfolding to perfect the Godzilla Model I folded earlier. I used tant for these two. Left was dry folded and wetted after (goal was to make top spiral stay with con opening and round opening) right was set from the start and then folded.
My takeaways were: wetting from start seems to make paper easier to work with and flatter throughout(like in that spiral) but I need to keep my rag on standby to continually re-wet. It also waros paper out of square shape so I may have to cut it back into a square for my Godzilla model. This is my first time ever wetting from the start and I'm really excited to get good at it
Happy World Origami Day! World Origami Days run from October 24, the birthday of Lillian Oppenheimer who founded the United States‘s first origami association, to November 11, Japan’s national origami day. Happy folding!
