/r/Oranges
I have a question. Considering the diverse spectrum of fruit colors and the complex interplay of factors influencing fruit pigmentation, including genetic variation, environmental conditions, and the selective pressures exerted by pollinators, seed dispersers, and herbivores, why has the orange fruit, specifically, evolved with this particular hue, characterized by the presence of carotenoid pigments, and what are the relative contributions of these various factors in shaping the evolutionary trajectory of this pigmentation?
i dont like oranges
Y'all don't know me son!
Does anyone here know what I could do with a bunch of dried out tangerines? My family likes them, but this last bag we got was forgotten about and nearly all of them are stale.
Anything I can use at least part of them in?
Is it pesticides? Oranges from Chile were un drinkable. Us Valencia Oranges were "okay" but still a mild chemical taste. What in the world is going on here?
I need the opinion of OTHERS, which orange is the best, I will fucking kill my self if someone says naval oranges, you suck. I don't care for mandarin either, they are good but I want an OPINION on another orange species. FUCK.
