After yesterday's post and some searching, I didn't find any super active Discord servers for our local craft beer scene.
I created one for Ontario Craft Beer: https://discord.gg/JdUVvrVZrq
Feel free to join to chat all things beer if you're on Discord!
Noticed the Can ( All red at the brim now instead of black ) and taste is different . Almost as if a hop had been substituted out but the grain bill i believe to be the same ?>. My guess Simcoe maybe ? Anybody have some insight >
I live in Collingwood, willing to drive an hour or so! Will drink anything other than a sour or Molson.
Fuck me the selection of beers is so bad in this province. The LCBO seems to think that IPA is the only kind of craft beer in existence. Their choices of what to carry are so bad, I have never tasted so many trash beers in my life. And the Beet store is even worse. I’ve taken to just making my own home brew, which is also trash, but at least not as bad as the trash sold in the stores here. I’m seriously contemplating suicide.
Hey there! I’m wondering if you folks have any experience with visiting/touring some local breweries. I’m looking for recommendations for a great brewery that would offer tours and tastings for a group or 10. We are looking to celebrate a coworkers anniversary as a team, and thought he’d really enjoy something like that. Within an hour drive if Mississauga would be great. Thanks for any help or recs!
They've been "temporarily closed" for over a month and when I talk to the staff at the Barnstormer locations they just tell me that it's opening next week. The next week comes and they still aren't open.
Hello good people of OntarioCraftBeer,
I am craving a Belgian Cherry Ale for weeks now and it is nowhere to be found, nothing in LCBO / Beer store.
I am looking for : Lindemans Kriek, DELIRIUM RED, Kasteel Rouge or anything as good as those ones.
I am not looking for Kolsch and Sours since they don't come close to the ones mentioned above.
Maybe someone knows a secret place / way to get some bottles or can recommend a decent alternative (i tried Fruli it was ok), or maybe refer me to a subreddit group that might have some answers.
Please help a fellow out.
Merry Christmas to all and happy upcoming holiday season.

Hello everyone,
We are a group of master of marketing students working on our craft beer assignment. It will be great if you can help us fill out the survey and help us better understand the expectations of the craft beer consumers to tailor our future marketing plan better!

Thank you in advance!
Hoping to find a doppelganger for my favourite, now defunct, beer.
A few years ago I fell deeply in love with Sour Cherry Gose from the County Road Beer Company.
Unfortunately, this gem of a brewery closed and took with it the beer that dreams are made of.
Does anyone know of a proper sour cherry Gose to help ease the pain of this loss?
TIA
Hello,
I was at LCBO a few times this past week and I noticed a lot of people buying for what seemed like Thanksgiving but much more than usual the lines were massive. Took a while every time. Anyone else notice this???
Gotta say I dig it. My first sip had me feeling a bit leery, it wasn't what I expected. It tasted very earthy and "green" (like made me think of greens like spinach or swiss chard) but every sip got better and better.
I could keep this around as a casual drinking beer year-round! It's very easy drinking and an interesting flavour that I wasn't expecting.
Also it supports a great cause and you can't feel bad about spending money on something that supports charity!
I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance!
