I’ve just started back promoting here after 2 months btw. It made me realize how many views you need to actually get subs and you need a Lot. I’m going to start posting to more subreddits

I have only done a few lives. But want to be inspired.

My friend has recently started an OF, in 3 weeks he has 30 subs (free OF). Lately he has been getting increasingly worried they might be bots. How do we know if they are real people or bots? The reason we think they might not be real people is the amount of likes he gets on posts. For example on his last post he got 0 likes, while at 24 subs and post has 18 views. Is this normal?

Whatever happens in the US, I think it’s safe to say that this country is going to get worse before it gets better. I won’t get into all of the reasons I genuinely fear for my future here, but I believe it is time to consider establishing myself elsewhere.

Hey guys. So I was waiting for my pay out which was delayed for a couple days (I was using direct bank transfer no problem last few weeks). Usually it come in next day during the day. Then two days pass. And today is Saturday and I got an email from Interac e transfer from a bank that I used to use but not anymore. Saying a deposit from N2XPRESS was not able to be deposited. I was so confused cause the amount is around what I’m expecting from my pay out in Canadian dollars (I don’t know the value in Canadian usually until it gets deposited in my bank).

So I look into the sender of the e transfer email and it’s catch@payments.interac.ca I see some ppl say online it’s legit others say it’s phishing Email.

The thing is I used to deposit my money from of into this older bank account but no more. I closed this bank account year or so ago. I was depositing into my new bank fine for weeks. Then I asked Onlyfans support to change my email address on my of. To log in. And idk if things got messed up?!

This goes for multiple sites, not just OF. An American could be top 10% (earning more than 90% of all other creators) yet could not pay all of their bills if they were living on their own in a rented apartment if they were using OF as their sole income.

It's equally as frustrating to see how people outside of the industry see it as "easy money" when they're using top 0.XX% creators as examples. It's like their brains see that the creator is in the extreme upper percentile yet refuse to admit what that means relative to everyone else on the platform.

I know I'm not saying anything new here but.. lately I've been rising in the ranks on multiple sites, and yet, my individual site earnings are not what people may expect at first glance. I'm wondering if there are any cosplayers here that have experience with Onlyfans and write-offs. This is my first time filing taxes, so I'd appreciate any advice. For some background:

I only make money off of OF and am not filing under an LLC. I do use my other social platforms to help advertise my OF, but I don't post all of my cosplays on OF to make money off of. I figured that these cosplays could be argued as help advertising my page (since cosplays that I don't have on OF have still brought in subscribers). Additionally, I was planning on writing off things that I can prove were for cosplay in 2024. Everything includes:

Cosplay outfits (not closet cosplay things; these are character-specific cosplays I purchased and can prove with photoshoots I've done in them)
Camera equipment (they all total under $2,500, so I don't have to depreciate them according to the purchase limit)
Convention tickets (proved for business as networking and creating content)
Cosplay craft supplies (for styling wigs, making props, etc.).

For the numbers, I really only make around $1,800 and my total expenses amounted to $1,000. Would all of these things be all right to count as expenses? I'd appreciate any advice from people with experience with this, thanks!
