We're a community made for discovering music. We post music albums, and choose one each week as our top recommendation. We have discussions about albums and artists, all are welcome! Pass the voice!
Only two guidelines: First, you vote for an album which gets elected as top of the week, then the one with the most up-votes of the month becomes the album of the month, and finally the one with the most up-votes of the year becomes album of the year! Results are posted everysunday.
Second, each week we have a new genre! Post your sugestion for next week's genre, and vote for the ones you aprove!
Also, if the album you posted won the week, you'll be added to approved posters, and a vinyl will be added next to your posts!
Here's another subreddit that can entertain some of you: http://www.reddit.com/r/FreeAlbums/
EDIT: The winners will be updated on the wiki page every month from now on.

This is a really stellar debut album IMO. If you like Americana/alt-country it will do it for you.

When you join Omnivoracious Listeners, you're not just joining a community where you will find amazing gems and push the boundaries of your music palate, climb into any rabit hole, share all your (respectful) thoughts on music you love and even music you don't like at all without shame or anger in return, but you're getting one of the best groups of individuals to share and explore music with.

Hi,
I write, record, play, and mix everything. I play guitar, sing, play bass, drums, keyboard and other instruments. The style is Indie Rock. All feedback I've received has been positive so I'm left to assume it's not that bad. But I'm open to hearing anything about it!
