anyone know how to set up Gate Ruler and build decks for it in octgn? trying to figure it out and all setup tutorials are for other games, just wondering what i need to do to start playing online.

I hope it's alright to post this here. Just wanted to let you know me and some friends are running a little progression series through OCTGN for the old school Dragon Ball Z card game. It's for the purpose of learning and celebrating this game right from the very beginning. We have been having a great time with it and would love more people to play with. I created a little Discord to organize the events. We eventually plan on progressing past Score on into Panini and all the other format off shoots. There's going to be a tournament next week for Saiyan saga. Then next month will be Frieza. Anyway, if you guys are interested in learning with us, please feel free to join. :)

Wanted to play against crossbones but I can't seem to find a way to load the experimental weapons, if there is a way. I dealt out tons of encounter cards and didn't see them in there already?

I woud like to hire somebody who knows how create games fo OCTGN. Project budget to be arranged.

Is there any way to add an image to the Lotr game name in the list of games available.

What the title said I wanna know if it's possible to add a custom card library. Ofcourse no code, just the cards.

Also if use you artwork from copyrighted series what would happen in that instance?

I've updated the Star Wars LCG plugin with the following fan-made cycles: Frozen in Carbonite Cycle, The Mandalorian Cycle, and The M Cycle. I've successfully created the .nupkg file and tested it in my localfeed folder. My question is where is the "official" repository of these files? Who do I have to petition to get the lastest version of the plugin housed so it will automatically download when someone starts Octgn???

After the recent update, when I try to launch OCTGN, it just goes into the setup dialogue. Every time. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it’s still running setup every time I try to launch. Anyone else having this issue or have any idea how to rectify it?

Looking for a little help with this one because I can't quite grok how it works. I've used OCTGN for LOTR and Arkham and to load a scenario, all I have to do is go to Game-=Load Pre-built Deck and it will load the scenario with the encounter deck in the appropriate place. But that isn't an option w/Champions. And I tried building the Encounter decks myself and loading them in regularly, but it just lumps it in with my hero deck. Anyone know how to do this properly?

My friends and I are all on lockdown and were wondering if there was a simple way to use OCTGN for a few rounds of virtual drinking card games. The first one would be King's Cup, the next would be Irish Poker.

For both, the most important thing would be for the dealer to be able to draw and place cards FACE DOWN onto the table. I can't seem to find the way to do that.

Also, if I could be pointed to example Python code, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at writing some scripts to automatically deal for us.

I am using OCTGN with my friends and I am hosting games, however every time I start a new game the port changes. I have to go in my router page and change the port to forward. Is there any way to set a fixed port to host games? I cannot find the option.

Hey guys! I 've got AH LCG installed in my OCTGN directory for quite a lot of time now and I'm trying to find how I can update the game. I'm looking to add new player and scenario cards so that I am able to play with the newer cycles. I 've done some research and I can't quite find what's necessary to do this. My guess is that I should add game feed and I'm currently looking for how I can do that but I'm unable to make any progress. Any kind of help will be appreciated a lot.

I found an old post from 2 years ago saying there is no save game function. Has this status changed? Even in one player, is there any way to save a game and return to it? If not, how long does it take for it to time out usually.

Is it down? I can't find the image packs for download anywhere as well..

I never had issues before with this program redownloaded it about 2 days ago downloaded the latest image pack for Dragonball Super card game and keep getting an error saying image packs could not be installed basically the file that I downloaded was broken or invalid to contact the developer. I already tried to uninstall the programs and reinstall and deleted all the files stored. If anyone of you have any ideas that would be great

I saw there are some custom cards for dbs and i was wondering where the assets to make them can be found. I tryed looking online and couldn't find anything.

I am part of a small team of people who are looking to add content to OCTGN. Specifically, we are trying to add supplemental content to AEG's Doomtown Reloaded, both for play and for deckbuilding purposes. I don't think we will be trying to automate the card effects. I do believe we want to make the supplement available for anyone who can find it.

What are the steps, tools, and skills necessary for this endeavour? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stupid question: For example, in the Android Netrunner package there is a playmat (and even a reverse version of it). Does anyone know what software was used to make this? I read online that Adobe InDesign or Illustrator is good for this stuff but $30/month is not justifiable for a simple hobby like what I'm doing.
