Join us every Tuesday at Peculier Pub on 145 Bleecker St and Thompson. Early birds show up at 6pm. Peak time is 7:30. We're the large group standing in the back of the bar. Very hard to miss. If you can't make it on time, don't worry, most people stay late – even past 11pm or midnight. Don't forget to tell our wonderful bartenders that you're with the group for special drink deals!
Want to chat with fellow members of the community? See our list of Community Discords for several options.
Everyone's welcome to post and host their own events though we highly encourage joining our Community Discords and organizing there. If you want your event to be successful, we suggest posting more than 48 hours in advance. Click here for more tips on hosting meetups.

Hi. I personally don’t find bar hopping can make some deep connections. Got inspired by Timeleft dinner where 6 strangers have dinner together, let’s do a lounge bar conversation instead of dinner. Let’s have some deep conversations and chill in this lounge bar.
Hey! Come join in the fun for a bar crawl tomorrow night Sat. 9th in Park Slope. 21+ of course
Start at 8pm @Freddy's
9pm over to Young Ethel's
10pm move on to Skylark
11pm finish up at Barbes If people want to stay out longer we can surely find more places to go.
Hey! Come join us for another bar crawl tonight 11/8!
We're going back to the East Village! We will stop at a few spots that have activities and a few that are just cool vibes. This will be my 7th time hosting and every time it's been a lot of fun with great people! We will be starting at 9pm tonight
The game plan 🗒
Come for one or all! I will be making a group chat for tonight but we also have a Discord for those who would love to join that as well (DM me for the link). Both will be updated as we move :)
Looking forward to seeing you beautiful people!
It's officially here, the most important game of the season! Kickoff is at 7:30 PM tomorrow night. I figured we could all meet at The Hairy Lemon on Avenue B around 7 PM.
Geaux Tigers!

Hey there, NYC meetups!
Two events back to back! (Hopefully)
Event 1: Space Billiards 6:30-7:30pm
Chill vibes, great lighting. I love going here for billiards with friends and new friends alike. If you’re wanting to do billiards, I recommend planning to meet there at 6:00-6:15 so we’re not running late. Note: I’ll probably get lost trying to find it and I’ve been there 4-5 times.
Event 2: Space Karaoke, 7:30-8:30pm
Conveniently one floor down from Space Billiards, there’s Space Karaoke. I’ve personally never done karaoke before. At the same time, I want to try new things and I’m lowkey scared shitless.
I’m not sure how busy karaoke gets but there’s usually room at billiards. We’ll get a table/room when we get there and if there’s no room at karaoke at 7:30, we’ll play another hour of billiards or eat early at a nearby food spot.
If interested, please comment whether you’re interested + can make Event 1, Event 2, or both!
Hello DTBK friends. Would anyone be interested in getting together for some casual eats on Monday the 11th? Leave a comment below if you're interested and I'll start a group chat over the weekend.
All ages welcome.
Calling all Afro House lovers! I am going to the Descendants show on 11/9. Tickets here: Dice Show starts at 3:30pm (love a good day party!). I've been to a Descendants Amapiano show before and it was dope. Looking to connect with other afro house / amapiano enthusiasts. If this sounds like you, drop me a line.
I’m planning on riding my bike to the ocean (Brighton beach, 8 miles) from Bedstuy/bushwick if anyone wants to join me. It should be about an hour bike ride. I’ll be doing this again but I was planning going around 1-1:30 pm today, Nov 7. Maybe we could get ice cream when we get there. Dm me!
I have an extra ticket for Jack & Michael Whitehall Live at Carnegie Hall @8:00PM on Fri, Nov 8th. If anyone wants to come with me. No need to pay anything the ticket will be free for you.
https://www.carnegiehall.org/Calendar/2024/11/08/Jack--Michael-Whitehall-Live-0800PM
Jack Whitehall “was awarded the title King of Comedy by the British Comedy Awards.”
Anyone else going to see Sammy Virji on Friday? I'm currently going by myself but would love to find other UK garage loving peeps to go with!
Hey folks - This Saturday, November 9th, at 2:00pm Club Sandwich is hosting its 16th meetup at Parisi Bakery & Deli and will then romp through the village for drinks and social time throughout the afternoon. Parisi has been called out in past meetups as a must-visit spot, so we’re pumped to finally make it there. And that all goes without saying, it has been quite the week and we could all benefit from some time to enjoy a nice sandwich, several libations, and some good company. We’re all just humans after all…
The usual disclaimer…. Club Sandwich is a casual, monthly, social meetup designed to try new sandwiches, explore new neighborhoods, and meet new people. This will be our 16th meetup and it’s pretty consistently offered a chill way to meet new folks, break some bread, and get into whatever shenanigans you’re into (within reason). It’s chill; it’s low-key; it’s tasty. If this sounds like your thing, drop a comment to be added to the Reddit group chat! And if you're already in the Club Sandwich Discord, you're all set.
NOTE: Parisi is CASH ONLY!!! BRING CASH IF YOU WANT A SANDWICH.
///
📂 The Plan
Parisi sandwiches, East Villiage dives, good times.
🥪 The Sandwich
As noted above, Parisi is a spot that has been recommended by many CS members, so we’re keen to make an official visit. Parisi is a family-owned establishment that has been serving up goods since 1903, so they’re probably doing something right! (Apparently Frank Sinatra bought bread from here back in the day?)
Not surprisingly, we’re told the bread is a show-stopper—foundational for any high-quality sando. You can catch a glimpse of the operation from this Food Network potato-quality throwback clip. Layer on top classic Italian fixings and we’re on the path to greatness. Helen Rosner, staff writer and food critic at The New Yorker, says that Parisi makes one of the best Italian sandos in NYC. Apparently “The Dennis” is their most hyped sando—chicken cutlet, prosciutto, and mozzarella cheese—is other-worldly; gimme now. Honestly though, everything looks great though.
There’s really not much else to say, other than we’re all in for a real sandwich treat.
💃 The Shenanigans
It has been a long week and we’re keeping it simple: sandwiches + drinks. Where that leads us, God only knows. I can assure you, we’ll let some steam out.
Plan to hit various classic bars throughout the afternoon and evening after getting a solid sandwich foundation.
❓ The FAQs
Alrighty, for those of you who have not attended a Club Sandwich meetup, here are a few questions that often arise…
//

I am going to start an open mic for those who would like to hone their jokes in Hindi/Urdu
I am a comic who just moved to the states and found out despite a big hindi/urdu speaking population, we don't even have a single open mic here.
The first step is meeting and getting to know each other.
HMU if you are interested- we will create a group chat and then plan an in-person meeting.
Place/Timings will be discussed on the group chat :)

Let's do some indoor bouldering at VITAL Brooklyn (Williamsburg) at around 1PM on Saturday 11/09! Anybody brand new or experienced is welcome to join. Bouldering is rock climbing with no equipment - all you need is to rent a pair of shoes and you are good to go. VITAL Brooklyn is an incredible bouldering space with outdoor climbing on the roof.
A day pass at the gym is $35, and shoe rentals if needed are $5.
We've been organizing this meetup for over 2 years and it has been a lot of fun! There are usually between 20-30 people who attend. We spend about 2 hours at the gym and then some folks usually grab drinks afterwards. Just post here if interested and I'll add you to our group chat.
I have an extra ticket to see the Rockettes on 11/15 and would hate to see it go to waste. Would be down to grab dinner beforehand or just meet at the show. I'm asking $75 for the ticket (I paid $100). Seats are to the left of the stage, very close to the front.
Send me a DM if interested!
Seems like as good a night as any to sing my heart out.
I booked a place. It's got a great set up. A few mics. A mini stage to really get that performance feeling. Whatever songs you can find on YouTube can be displayed.
Tell you desi at heart peeps and hope to see you there.
There’s a 40+ walk happening this Saturday. It’s not my event but I am going. Just helping to spread the word. See info/link below.
Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and socialize at Time Out Market!
A few friends and I started a bi monthly bookclub. We meet once a month to discuss the book but we also meet at least once a month as well for a social activity so members can bond with each other . We want this to be a cozy and intimate book club for avid readers who would like to make friends and experience nyc and good literature together .
For November- we’re planning to finish up the last chapters of Grapes of Wrath and Starting Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison.
For November 9th- we’re going for a hike in Cold Spring for the social meetup .
Please only reply if you’re 90% sure you can commit to this . Regulars will be allowed to take turns choosing a book each month and in order to be considered a regular you can’t have missed more than 3 meetings . If you’re not a social person then this club isn’t for you .
Hey! I'll be hosting a board game meetup at Clinton Hall tonight, the 6th, at 6:30pm. We primarily play party games that are easy to learn and play, but also have slightly heavier stuff for those who are interested/want to learn. It's a lot of fun and everyone is really friendly. We have a few regulars and love meeting new people!
Attached is the Meetup link for more info.

Would love company! Let me know if you are interested to join; looks like the spot next to me is still open! Generally feel free to DM too if you're also an AMC A-Lister and would be interested in a movie buddy moving forward. :)

Anyone interested in joining my volleyball team? It’s a co-ed league through Volo. We are all beginners and around the ages of 26-35 with a mix of men and women. It starts November 14 and is every Thursday anytime from 7 pm - 11 pm. Each game is about 45 mins. Trying to get a team of at least 10 players. It’s also indoor beach!
Message me if interested! 😃
I randomly came across the Nanotech Meetup NYC flyer on Nov 21 2024 at the Harlem tower. Is anyone going?
I studied nanotech in school and have been laid off for a while so think it might be a good networking opportunity to meet new people. Anyone ever go to one of these and can share their experience with me?
