Join us every Tuesday at Peculier Pub on 145 Bleecker St and Thompson. Early birds show up at 6pm. Peak time is 7:30. We're the large group standing in the back of the bar. Very hard to miss. If you can't make it on time, don't worry, most people stay late – even past 11pm or midnight. Don't forget to tell our wonderful bartenders that you're with the group for special drink deals!
Want to chat with fellow members of the community? See our list of Community Discords for several options.
Everyone's welcome to post and host their own events though we highly encourage joining our Community Discords and organizing there. If you want your event to be successful, we suggest posting more than 48 hours in advance. Click here for more tips on hosting meetups.

I've been hosting a monthly meetup for beer lovers for the past couple months and would love to have more folks join. We are a community that meets up at a different brewery in NYC every month to explore NYC's amazing beer culture together. We chat all things beer, breweries, upcoming beer events, homebrewing, etc. in a laid-back environment. The next meetup is this Wednesday at Other Half's Carroll Gardens location.
You can check out www.craftclub.xyz for more details and here is the RSVP link for this Wednesday's meetup: https://lu.ma/misixkhu
Hope to see you there, cheers 🍻
Heyy, wondering if anyone is interested in going out tn to Fools Gold NYC at 10pm. It’s a dive bar with a bunch of different craft beers. Never been but seems chill. Down to go to other bars after if anyone is interested.
I’m 22M based uptown and currently getting my masters/working. Moved here over the summer and looking to meet new people ( queer friendly).
Hi everyone, I spontaneously bought a ticket to go see Harry Connick Jr perform at the Met Opera tomorrow night and figured I’d see if anyone else would be interested in joining. We can plan to grab a bite/drink beforehand.
I bought the ticket in the last row of the cheapest section 😅

Hi NYC philosophers,
We're organizing another meetup for anyone interested in discussing philosophy and connecting with like-minded people in the city. Here's the plan:
🗓 When: Sunday, Feb 2 at 4 PM
📍 Where: Devoción (coffee shop), 69 Grand St in Williamsburg
For this session, we’ll be diving into Bertrand Russell's essay In Praise of Idleness (read it here). In this paper, Russell argues that less work and more leisure time is beneficial for human well-being.
Feel free to join whether you’ve had time to read the article or not—there’s always room for thought-provoking discussion. If you’re interested, drop a comment or message u/Rare-Salt-7607 or me. Looking forward to meeting you all and hearing your insights!
I am super excited about this movie and all the reviews seem positive. Thinking the 7:30pm at the AMC Midtown location (AMC EMPIRE 25) Lil about me if interested, 26 M UWS. Down to chat in the the replies or DMs about organizing
Hi everyone. Moved to NYC two weeks ago from South Africa for work. I’m 24M, Looking to make new friends. I love sport, exploring places, and socializing with new people.
Anybody keen to grab a quick bite to eat and a drink this evening? Otherwise any recommendations for a good quick dinner spot would be much appreciated :)
Anyone going to the Black Parade next Saturday? I'm considering going, since I have time away from my son (he's with abuela), and would love to go with others, and make new friends. Since I haven't been to Brooklyn Monarch, I'd love to go with others familiar with the venue. I'd appreciate any nearby places to pregame. ☺️☺️☺️
Hi everyone its me again. I made a reservation for ten people to go to kakaroe city tomorrow at 8pm. We currently have a gc and have 6 people, we need 4 more to attend.
Planning on checking out Baz Luhrmann’s new “medieval meets punk” bar, Monsieur (86 E 4th St), in the East Village this evening. Was going to bring a book, but figured it’d be fun to meet new friends over some drinks.
Will be heading over at 9 PM.
Article attached below with more info on the spot.

Hi.
Is anyone interested in going to MOMA today, 31/01, during uniqlo night hours (5:30-8:30pm)?
27M, researcher at a nonprofit. Haven't been there in a while, want to refresh memory :)
hi everyone ! hopefully your week went okay but now it’s friday ! relax.

i’d love to go out with a group of guys and/or girls that also are on here and would like to have a little fun, so maybe be alc friendly ? i’m based in midtown but have great recommendations in bk or LES.
honestly don’t use reddit a lot so not sure if this will even work.
i’m a 23 M, work in tech sales, and graduated from a big school(size wise) about 10 months ago. I like all types of music from rap, r&b, to house/edm. i get along with everyone !
hard to create interest over on this app but i’m honestly throwing darts at a bar let’s see what hits.
Hey, I'm 32F hosting a bar crawl with dancing this Saturday!
I used to do these regularly but took a break for the holidays and weather. Now that things have calmed down a bit, let's get another crawl going this Saturday! This weekend we're going to Brooklyn for all my fellow Brooklyn peeps and we're going to explore the Carroll Gardens/Park Slope area. We went there a few months ago and it was so much fun!
The plan is as follows: 📝
Then we'll go to the Bell House for some dancing 🕺💃
Https://www.universe.com/events/party-like-its-1999-hey-ya-its-outkast-edition-tickets-Y29CMQ If you plan on joining us for that, RSVP on the link.
We have an ongoing group chat on here and a Discord as well. If you comment on here, I'll add you to the chat, and if you want the Discord, DM me. All profiles will be vetted before adding.

Asim Azhar Concert
Hello guys, this is very awkward but I wanted to ask if anyone is attending or planning to attend Asim Azhars concert in NYC. I am new to the city and I really want to go as i am a big fan and I've already missed few really good concerts. Would love to connect with someone who is interested to join me or vice versa.
Hey everyone!
I’ve been hosting some sports meetups over the past month, and it’s been a fun time meeting fellow fans and building a solid sports crew in NYC. Let’s keep it going for this Lakers vs. Knicks matchup on Saturday night!
Come hang, meet some cool people, and watch the game in a fun, laid-back setting. My goal is to keep building a group that actually enjoys watching games together consistently. This time we're changing the scenery and doing it in Brooklyn.
🏀 Game: Lakers vs. Knicks
📅 Date: Saturday, February 1st
⏰ Tip-Off: 8:30 PM EST
📍 Venue: FancyFree – 71 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217
Sign up here: theassist.nyc
If it’s your first time, you’ll fill out a quick sports questionnaire. You’ll get matched with others and be shown each other's team fandom (no contact info shared, just a fun way to connect before the event).
I’ll email everyone closer to game day with more details—there’s no group chat at the moment, but this process helps keep RSVPs organized.
💰 Cost? Nope! These meetups are totally free. There’s no minimum drink requirement either—just bring yourself!
--
If you’ve got any questions, feel free to drop them here or DM me. I’ll update this thread with new details as we get closer to the game.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces (and meeting new ones) this weekend.
Hey folks, please join me and some friends for a 420 friendly hang out at Gotham market
Location: 45th and 11th Ave Time: 7pm
The food hall has tons of options for food and drinks. I'll bring the music and the rest.
It's a very laid back, low maintenance and fun group
Masala Milers (a South Asian run club) is having having our first group run and walk of February in Central Park this Saturday!
You don’t have to be South Asian or a “serious” runner to attend.
We will be meeting at the park’s Columbus Circle entrance 11 AM for stretching and introductions. Run/walk will start at 11:15 AM.
For runners, there will be pacers for 8-12 minute / mile paces.
We’ll also have a group that’ll be walking.
The run route will be 5K, and the walk, 1.5 miles.
Attendees are also welcome to hang for post-run coffee and snacks at LPQ!
Feel free to DM us if you have any questions.
Cheers,
The Masala Milers Admin Team
Hello. I'm a 26 F masters student in actuarial science from Delhi, India. It's hard to find Pakistani singer fans in NYC. I already got the tickets, coz I'll go alone anyway, but does anyone wanna join, lemme know!
The tickets are around $50.
Happy Lunar New Year! In celebration of the new moon, this Sunday at 5pm, I am hosting a food crawl in Flushing. We would be starting with New World Mall at 5pm. I don't have a route planned yet. I have some stand-up and sit-down places ready and dependent on the size of the group. New World Mall in particular has a bunch of stand-up vendors.
About me, I am 28, male with a passion for food and travel. I like to host events that I find chill like sitting down and enjoying book clubs, going to Yankee and Knicks games, occasional dinners, and walks such as observing the seasonal shifts in prospect park and going on neighborhood food crawls.
Feel free to ask to join my instagram group chat to plan together if you have any food spots you want to suggest or if you just want to join. We are a friendly group of foodies (:

LES meet up Saturday Feb 1st
Two alcoholics and one reformed are having a LES meet up this Saturday. One of the alcos has just turned a significant year older and we’re looking for people to help celebrate.
We’ll probably start at Iggys around 9pm, make of that what you will ❤️ comment below if interested
EDIT: Will make a group chat soon and add everyone who comments
EDIT 2: I’m not bothered to make a group chat so everyone please be at Iggys for 9pm 🙃
Going to be at Kills Boro Brewery on Van Duzer Street on Staten Island this Saturday evening. They have a great selection of beer on tap and awesome food as well. If anyone is interested in joining let me know.
Are you based in NYC and want to play some casual chess? Check out Park Slope Chess Club in Brooklyn- we meet every Monday 6PM at Sip & Play!
If you're intimidated playing chess in person, you're not alone! I'm currently sitting at 800 elo and not confident in my chess play at all. Park Slope Chess Club is an inclusive and welcoming space for all skill levels to enjoy!
Hey, I wanted to share info about two LGBTQIA+ hangouts / friend meetups in the next few weeks! They are on January 29 & February 10 from 7:00-9:00pm. If you're interested in having psychology-backed, connection-based conversations with kind strangers, Skip the Small Talk events really do SKIP past all the niceties and dive into DEEP topics with a trauma-informed facilitator. Details below!
SIGN UP HERE! We can't wait to see you soon!
Hey everyone! After the success of our first meetup at Mona's, I (28M) decided to plan another one. Let's meet at Mother's Ruin (18 Spring St, New York, NY 10012) in Lower Manhattan on Friday, the 31st, at 6:00 PM. I know this is sooner than before, but we definitely need more time if we expect the same number of people to join us. If everyone is up for it, we might even go bar crawling afterward! Hope to see you all there!
I'll create a GC if a lot of people are interested :)
I love going to Bathhouse in WB and Flatirron and would love to meet some people who love to sauna-and-plunge as much as I do. Is anyone interested in joining me this Friday night? I'd be open to going to World Spa as well but it's not as centrally located. If all goes well, maybe we could make this a regular thing and hit up QC and Sojo before winter ends!
I'm a 39 M, married, and I usually go to these with my wife but she's busy and none of my friends are really into spa-culture. I'm based in Greenpoint so the BH in Williamsburg is the closet but the one in Flatiron is a little bigger and easier to get a day pass within a week of booking.
Also I'd ideal love if we could all get into Bathhouse at/around 8:30pm as the last Augus is at 9pm and then the place is open (and pretty dead) until 11pm!
hi all, I've got an extra ticket to the showing later tonight if anyone would like to come with. preference for someone who lives in brooklyn and is down to meet up for a pint beforehand!
27m, moved here late last year and always happy to meet new people
Hello Everyone!
Would anyone be interested in watching the Oscar nominated Brutalist in 70mm print this Saturday 02/01 at AMC 34th St?
Heard so much technical prowess about the movie, I wanted to watch it in 70mm
Please comment if you're interested!
Edit: Will create a gc to discuss time, need to book by tomorrow latest
Hello everyone,
Planning on meeting a couple of friends for some food/drinks and karaoke today at around 7-7:30. We're going to be meeting at upstairs bar on 59 canal Street in Chinatown. Friendly staff and regulars and reasonably priced food and drinks. Please feel free to join us if you're inclined as we love meeting new people. Feel free to message me if interested! Hope to see some of you there.
EDIT: Ok apparently it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Likely going to go to BoHo karaoke on orchard Street instead and do upstairs some other time!!
