Neighbor is Abusing Dogs- How Can I Save Them!?

What can someone do about a neighbor who you know is abusing their animals? You know this because of hearing the cries as they do it? They are puppies, and when I say I can hear them- I mean I literally am brought to tears for the duration of their yelps and screams.... I've tried to assist in rehoming them, however the owner wants an unrealistic amount for them... They look to be fed and all, so I'm super afraid to call animal control and them tell me that they look cared for and it create an issue with my neighbor... This neighborhood is not one to have a neighbor war in. I do have cameras on my property, so you can clearly hear the yelps on them... Any advice?

Master's Project Recruitment: LGBTQ People's Perspectives on Sex Education

Hi everybody!

This is my first post here, so hello! I received approval from the mods prior to posting. I am currently in graduate school and doing my master’s project on how those who identify as LGBTQ understand their sex education experiences. I’m specifically looking for people who are between 18 and 26, those who identify as LGBTQ, and those who attended a private religious high school in Ohio. I’m conducting approx. hour-long interviews, and if you participate, you get a $25 gift card to a place of your choice! If you or someone you know are interested in participating, the pictured flyer has my contact information. Feel free to message me here on Reddit as well.

Please share with anyone and everyone! Thank you!

[STICKY] Welcome to the NW of Columbus Reddit!

I decided to start this sub because this is a really beautiful, fun and amazing part of Ohio, and I figure I can't be the only Redditor out here (right?.... ^right?).

I don't want to be the only one posting here, so please speak up! I'd love to see this space become useful for social purposes, as well as spreading awareness of all the good food, drinks, and events/opportunities for fun that exist here.

We're still figuring out what the rules should be, but for the moment all we ask is that:

  • you keep all posts SFW
  • no advertising for businesses (home-based or otherwise).

We're looking forward to "meeting" you all!
