prefably not only with nujabes, but nitsua and Uyama horito as well
I dont want to wite a lot; I just want to thank you the community of nujabes: you all are kind. When I lived my worst period of my life (when I was 17 in 2021) I thankfully discovered Nujabes, shing02 and so many other artist who worked with “Seba”. In every video I enjoyed the kind, chill, relaxing and peacefully vibes of nujabes music. Here is what I want to say: thank you so much because in every nujabes comment section’s video I saw always kind, peacefully, respectful and beautiful comment. Thank you cause you, members of this community, have changed my life forever in a positive way. I’m more relaxed when I listen to nujabes
I’m more happy when I see someone talking about nujabes in a positive way
I’m less anxious when the beats laments the me and the world
I’m happy to have changed so much even if I discovered nujabes so many years after his death
I hope someone who is reading this feel what I feel
So, just thank you.

What an amazing masterpiece!
I can't tell but the Nujabes signature looks a little weird. I'll ask questions to the seller and post his responses here.
maaan idk, i can't really explain his songs, it's not like any other music you find today...so different. every music gives me a peace of mind unlike other mainstream songs out there.
I originally found out about him from listening to a YouTube playlist that had songs similar to The Boondocks' soundtrack. Through a feature of a feature on Spotify, it led me here.
I feel like some of his music is pretty similar to many songs in Nujabes' discography. The best exame of this to me is The Best You've Never Heard, but my favourite song has got to be A B-Boy's Tale.
Really hope you give him a listen, I find him extremely underrated :)
Will I ever get to witness some nice events in Europe or I'll have to just rely on America and Japan for a Nujabes musical event. I swear I sometimes wonder if I could just book a club and call all the fans and start the night with Spiritual state
Wondering if anybody wanted to go visit nujabes brother’s ramen shop
As we all know Spiritual State was completed posthumously by Nujabes close collaborators.
How much do we know about the state it was in before completion? Are there any interviews or stories about the work done on it, or even from feature artists talking about recording on it?
One last thing. Does anyone have an idea why it's never been repressed on Vinyl?
Hope yall like it
I travelled to Japan this year. As part of the trip I visited Shibuya and ate at Usagi Ramen, as well as went to Shibuya Tower Records.
When I discovered Nujabes in 2012 after he had passed away my connection with his music held deep and I regularly listed for years.
When I started planning my trip to Japan, I knew I wanted to purchase his music and immerse myself with it while there. I actually first found his records for sale in Tower Records Hiroshimaten. I picked up Modal Soul, Hydeout Productions 2nd Collection on Vinyl and Metaphorical Music as well as Spiritual State on CD. I knew I wanted these and didn't want to risk discovering them out of stock elsewhere, little did I know I need not worry.
When I visited Shibuya I first headed to Usagi Ramen which I've heard so much about on here. Myself and my wife lined up outside about 30 minutes before opening. By opening time, there was over 20 people in line behind us. I ordered the Special Ramen and sat down. Nujabes music was playing in the background and as our Ramen came out Counting Stars came on. This was the first song I heard when i first discovered Nujabes. It felt really special to hear that there. His brother Nao was smiling the whole time in the kitchen. The ramen was fantastic, and I hope to visit again some day to try the Spicy Ramen (this is recommended on the menu). I bought a T-shirt after, they kindly suggested I go for a larger size than I requested by showing me that Nao was wearing a large size and I am glad they did, the shirt fits perfect! It's really high quality as well. 1 2 3 There is a 30 minute table limit there, so we had to be quick in and out.
Heading over to Tower Records Shibuya they have a small display for Nujabes on the main floor, but there's more to see upstairs. On the 5th floor is the biggest tribute. A whole wall of Nujabes. , here they have headphones set-up so you can listen to any album including some tribute albums. I picked up Modal Soul Classics II and Luv(sic) Hexalogy CDs here. Near the front on the Vinyl floor they had Now Is Now by yutaka hirasaka for sale on a cream colored record. I hadn't heard this before and gave the opening track a listen at the store. The laid back jazzy beats of Entropy drew me in and I decided to purchase the album. I really recommend giving it a listen.
A few more pictures from the store. 1 , 2 , 3 .
Also went to Parco mall nearby where there's a Nujabes pop-up store, I was honestly taken aback by the prices ($220~ hoodies, $80~ shirts), but I did get a mug and some pins within my remaining budget.
After this we went downstairs of the Parco to the food hall. I went to this bar called Beer Boy. The bartender there was super cool, when I ordered a Heartland beer I had mentioned to him having one earlier at Usagi Ramen. He asked me about it and I told him about Nujabes. He was familiar with him but hadn't listened to his music before. After our conversation he put it on the speakers and after a few songs came over to let me know he approved!
Here's a photo of all of my purchases from the pop-up and Tower Records. Definitely wishing I got more wax, but I am so very happy to have gotten what I did.
Going to Japan in a few weeks, Does anyone know of any cool record stores to find nujabes or good collection of vinyl. I thought I read here his family owns a shop somewhere in the area but can’t find anything about it.

Have anyone got any footage of these running? I've searched around but only found pictures.
tempted to get it but understand nothing about watches
Hello! My boyfriend is a Nujabes SUPER FAN. We just recently attended the Shing02 tour and he was in heaven!!! I was wondering if anyone would be able to suggest some gift ideas that a Nujabes fan would love? It’s so hard to find any merch so I wanted to ask people who also like his music but I don’t know anyone other than him. He does have a good few shirts and cds since he visited Japan, but does anyone know anything else that they think would be a good gift in the Nujabes/Shing02 realm? Any help would be appreciated!!!
I know people have gotten Nujabes on vinyl in Canada, I'm asking you fellow Canadians to leave store names that you bought them from.
