Is it possible to fit a higher watt hour battery into the nv41?
I found where I could potentially order one on clevo's website, but I don't see any documentation for what size or connector the nv41 uses, so I'm don't know which one to get if any.
If the one already in it is the biggest one possible, I would like to make it known that a more power efficient processor option would be awesome in the future. Any modern processor will suit my needs just fine, (besides an i3 maybe. Ew) But I vastly prioritize battery life, so an i5u would really neat I think that option especially makes sense for the smallest laptop option like the nv41
The battery life is honestly the deciding factor between this and the lemur pro from system76

Hello! I've been planning to buy a NV41 for some months, and I'm wondering about the removable camera/mic option: what is done with the empty parts of the chassis after removal? Are the mic and camera spaces just left as open holes into the chassis, or are they plugged with something?
also does it charge from them?
Did you know that with #Windows 11's default #privacy related settings, r/microsoft collects a huge amount of data about you? They use this data to create a profile about you, which can make you feel uncomfortable and can indirectly cause a lot of trouble.
We sell our laptops with Windows 11privacy-optimised. But if you want to limit the privacy impact of your current Windows installation, you have to read our new blog post: https://configurelaptop.eu/how-to-optimise-windows-11-for-privacy/
Hello,
i have recently gotten myself an NV41 and although I am not done configuring it and setting it up, I noticed that the fan can get quite noisy doing even just ordinary tasks.
For example when using the GNOME-Search or installing Software it spins up rather quickly.
Although a bit annoying, generally this is not a big problem. However I am currently in a situation where I frequently work inside library's. There I do need it to be very quite.
I did try to use Dasharo's silent fan mode, but it didn't help much.
In case that some dust had gathered on the fan, I opened up the laptop, but that was not the case.
A friend of mine then suggested to use a small bit of grease (German: Fett sorry I that translation is incorrect). Would that work or help?

Do you have any suggestions to improve the noise of the fan?
The right to repair is very important to us. That's why we started video tutorials. In these videos we explain step by step how to replace parts. This is the first video, here you see how we replace the keyboard of the NV41 Series. #righttorepair
Great news! The NV41 Series is available again with i7-1260P processor. Limited stock, order now!
Are there models that are configurable with 5G or LTE options?
Hello
I can't find any informations about the casing of the NV40 Series laptop. Is it metal or plastic? Thanks :)
Hey r/NovaCustom,
Just dropping by to give a huge shoutout to Wessel and the entire NovaCustom team. My NS51 was having some serious overheating issues π, but these guys jumped right on it.
They didn't just fix the problem, they also hooked me up with a free CPU upgrade when they installed the new motherboard! π Now my laptop is running smoothly and faster than ever. π
And let's not forget their customer support - absolutely top-notch! They were quick, friendly, and super helpful throughout the process.
So, a big THANK YOU to the NovaCustom team. You guys rock! π
I own a NS51, latest dasharo firmware and Intel ME disabled (HAP). Power Managment is set to Suspend-to-RAM since this is the only option with ME disabled.
But i can't wake up from suspend to ram, i tried pressing different keys. Power key does nothing, the only option is to press and hold the power key until the little power-led turns off. Then i can restart the laptop normally. My OS is Linux Mint also the latest, if that matters. Any help is highly appreciated.
