Been Looking to get Qubes OS certified machine for quite sometime. The NV56 seems to be a good choice. After reading up a bit about it, am interested to know if there will be NV56 variant that supports Nvidia anytime soon that is certified by Qubes OS (or at least supported by NovaCustom for running Qubes OS)
There is one thing that has always been frustrating for me: using USB pen drives in Linux Mint. Quite often, the USB drive is not writable. It's time to solve this once and for all:

Disabling the Intel Management Engine (ME) leads to battery draining in suspend mode due to modern standby (S0ix). In this guide, we will workaround this issue by setting up a suspend-then-hibernate policy.

Hi, just stumbled over Nova Custom and it looks promising.

Is it possible to fit a higher watt hour battery into the nv41?
I found where I could potentially order one on clevo's website, but I don't see any documentation for what size or connector the nv41 uses, so I'm don't know which one to get if any.
If the one already in it is the biggest one possible, I would like to make it known that a more power efficient processor option would be awesome in the future. Any modern processor will suit my needs just fine, (besides an i3 maybe. Ew) But I vastly prioritize battery life, so an i5u would really neat I think that option especially makes sense for the smallest laptop option like the nv41
The battery life is honestly the deciding factor between this and the lemur pro from system76

Hello! I've been planning to buy a NV41 for some months, and I'm wondering about the removable camera/mic option: what is done with the empty parts of the chassis after removal? Are the mic and camera spaces just left as open holes into the chassis, or are they plugged with something?
also does it charge from them?
