Need help finding a sci-fi creepypasta where a guy gets a vision of humanity being enslaved by aliens. Mrcreepypasta narrated it before but i can’t find it.

Basically it involves a astrologist scientist of some sort who due to sci fi shennanigans gets show a future in which he continues to help humanity explore the cosmos. but what he sees is a future where humanity gets enslaved by an alien civilization. he gets sent back to the present, and the story ends with him continuing his work anyway.

i don’t know if he deleted this one but it has been impossible for me to find this story anywhere. help would be greatly appreciated.

A man alone in the office. Feels like he’s being watched

One of the scariest most unsettling stories I’ve ever read on nosleep. Definitely more than 5 years old. So I could be mixed up with a few of the details but what I remember is a man in an office setting. He can se the sliding doors at the entrance. It’s like he can sense a presence. Don’t know if they open on their own or if he just stares at them thinking they will. He can see the parking lot but is too afraid to go to his car. Like something is waiting for him. Nothing really happens as far as I can remember. The author just does such a good job at describing the feeling of being watched. I also think it was in the top posts years ago. Not much to go on but I would be so happy for any help I can get 😊

A girl finds photos in a field

I really don’t remember much. This was YEARS ago. From what I think I can remember (and even this might be wrong) a girl lived with her single father. Didn’t know what happened to her mother. And she found like a box buried in a (corn?)field that had photos and revealed something about her past.

A story about a girl who can see things other people can not, who finds a job where she uses her skill to monitors bad/paranormal houses, only to get betrayed by her employers

It's been a long while since I read this one and I've had no luck finding it again. I tried the lists pinned on top, but it was not in it, unless I missed it. Sorry if its the case.

I think the girl can see auras or something. She struggles a lot when she's young but then she finds a job at a government agency where her skills are needed and despite the fact she's very scared by what she is exposed to when using her paranormal perception, she still agrees to work. At some point everything goes to shit and I can't remember if it was because of a bad entity but as she's alone in one of the houses, her employer turns against her. If I recall correctly, it's specifically houses she has to monitor, just by walking in them.

Anybody remembers which it is?

Looking for a story about a guy who was chained and sank to the bottom of the ocean

I remember reading a story years ago about a guy who was cast off his ship, chained to a rock or something and sank to the bottom of the ocean. But, he didn’t die.

He just stayed there for centuries until his chains wore away and he was able to swim back up to the surface of the ocean.

He got picked up by a boat and was trying to figure out what all happened and change and (I think) he ended up killing the person who picked him up in the boat.

I’m 99% sure I read it on nosleep, but it could’ve also been a creepypasta. Any help would be appreciated!

Story about a secret government base where they fight monsters every night?

I’ve looked for this series and just keep seeing the more popular secret government base type ones and it’s not any of those. It has a similar theme. Only every night, they have to go outside the building and shoot at these monster looking things that are trying to escape or attack( can’t remember which). I think it ends with the monsters overtaking the base and I might be remembering wrong but I think I remember them finding out that the monsters are actually a group of people who were exiled or something a long time ago. Anyone remember this story? Thanks!

Series about a guy who drives for some kind of criminal or paranormal service?

Not looking for the cerber series. The one I’m thinking of is kind of similar though. The narrator gets hired I think because he’s really good at driving and at one point the company he works for threatens/kidnaps his girlfriend. Thanks!

looking for the story about peoples' eyes darting around

i think i read this around 3 or 4 years ago so i don't remember most of the story but essentially the protagonist moves to a town where everyone's eyes dart around every now and again, then i believe the protagonist dies (or something similar) and controls peoples' eyes to look around or something like that. i think the big reveal at the end was that someone was watching them?

A story about WW2 American soldiers fighting the Japanese and being supernaturally segmented.

What i remember is that soldiers were storming the beaches of japanese controlled islands. It was from the perspective of someone on the ground. This guy runs over the hill with his troop, rushing a enemy controlled point. He hears screams of pain and maybe laughter? He sees soldiers floating midair, segmented, delimbed, and still alive, by some form of supernatural or interdimentional force. There was a psychological aspect to it aswell, hence the laughter and there maybe an aspect of pleasure from bisection as well. I think it maybe was part of an overarching story. I stumbled upon it reading the flesh pit stories. I genuinely thought it was just another part of that lore but of course its not. This is most of what i remember of it being one the first Nosleep, Creepypasta, things ive ever read, but its stuck with me all this time.

Looking for a story about a creature in the dark and a child's obsession with it.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a story about a creature in the dark that clung to the edges of a night light. This kid was feeling uneasy about the creature and got more and more curious about it. They would let the creature get closer and closer establishing a "trust" with it and at the end of the story the creature bit off a finger? (it could have been a hand) and the parents and doctor can't possibly conceive how this happened. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm looking for a Fire watch tower story

I know they are a whole genre, so I'm hoping someone knows this specific instance. I don't remember a whole lot about it but it ended with the protagonist realizing that he had written the mysterious journal and that he had been repeating the same few days. There may have been a woman in another watch tower and I think there were regular air drops of food but I could be mistaken. I know it wasn't the one where the protagonist sees the burning woman.

Thanks in advance!

Series about visiting a friend at his town

Protagonist goes to visit a friend who moved away for a job. The town has many unexplained weird rules that the protagonist is urged to follow. In the end it turns out that protag’s friend was dead and the whole story about the town was a metaphor for her dealing with the grief, or something like that. There were about 4-5 parts to this story. Anyone have any idea?

A series about the afterlife

It came out around 2016/17.

Somehow the protagonist gets ahold of the way to reach the afterlife - via a sort of astral projection, a hatch with a ladder appears somewhere in your apartment, and off you go.

Afterlife is divided into levels - I can remember some, e.g. one is just a desert with a prison, guarded by a jailer, the other is like a storage with hooks hanging from ceilings and humans on them.

I'm sorry that I can't offer more details, I know that the author did a sequel of sorts where worm and crow gods go to war or something

No Way Out House Challenge

I read this story a while back, maybe a year or two ago? It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but time goes quicker than I think it does, lol.

It starts with OP wanting to hang out with his friend I think, or his friend told him about a house like an escape room that no one can ever get out of. OP is good at escape rooms and thinks, why not, I like a challenge. Let’s see what it’s about. So he goes to it, looks like a normal, unassuming, two story home. He walks in and there’s a front desk. He starts at the beginning and goes room by room. At first it’s not a major challenge, and then things get weirder and weirder, scarier and scarier, darker and darker. At one point he’s just in a room alone with nothing and no way out. Another time he is in what appears to be hell, and another time he thinks he got out and was in his house? Childhood house? But it was just another room because he saw an exit sign. I think maybe there were 13 rooms? Not sure. I know it did mention a certain number of rooms to get through.

I don’t think there were any follow ups to this story, but it was awesome. I’ve been looking for it for what feels like MONTHS. Help me out?

TIA!

a series i read few years back

sorry if it’s confusing as it’s been atleast 5-6 years now so my memory is foggy, but the story starts off with a guy finding out everyone he lives with is fake, robotic ish people being controlled by someone, and he runs away, ends up in a light house mid story to talk to some guy for more info, i think the story ended with the guy being in a room with the computer was that was “controlling” everyone that’s all i remember i’ll try to think more

also another story where a group of 2-3 people explore abandoned towns and end up in a haunted school, the writer was pretty well known and all of their stories were connected somehow in one or the øther.

thanks for the help if you have any questions about the story for more info just ask i’ll try to answer as best as i could.

I’m hungry for great series to read

Struggling to find stories to match my taste. Here are some of my green flags in a story:

  • Novel/literature-ish prose and language.
  • Creative/original paranormal entities and activities (no haunted houses, dolls and those lame stuff) and/or realistic approaches where the antagonists are human, animals or natural phenomenons.
  • Threatening and cunning villains.
  • Protag having common sense.
  • Characters have to be fleshed out and change throughout the course of a story (character arcs).
  • Satisfying/Hauting ending.
  • 90.000~150.000 words (series).

Help me find stories that match what I described, thanks.

Kept alive in the walls

I have a vague description of a story that might have been on the nosleep podcast. Someone (a man I'm pretty sure) moves in/inherited/renovated a house, there's weird sounds and smells (I think) and it culminates in a wall being torn down and finding a person/several people behind the wall being kept (barely) alive by tubes. Anyone got a guess?

Trying to find a story about a bus

I’m trying to find this multi-part story and I think it started with a bus or a taxi. I know it ended with the main protagonist and a woman, I believe, kicking down a wall in a tunnel I think. I remember a truck, but I don’t think it was in the story. I remember searching for it on reddit and the second result was about best stories on r/nosleep. I appreciate any help.

Story About Two Brothers

It would be a couple years old at this point, but the post was from the perspective of the older of two brothers. They explore a drainage pipe, lying on skateboards to make.ir easier to get through. They come across an intersection that leads up, with a red light at the end of the upper pipe. The younger encourages the elder to get in the pipe, the elder realizes it's not his brother and escapes. It's driving me insane, I've tried looking up "skateboard", "drain", "pipe", "red light" (there are a lot of red lights). I'd appreciate putting this brain worm to rest.

story about a guy finding videos he shouldn't have seen on the dark web

I'm guessing there are like a million stories like that on nosleep but i really liked this one and have been trying to find it for a couple months.

so basically he goes through like a couple links and gets to a site with videos like recorder monsters in the catacombs and stuff like that, and then one video is like an unexplainable 4th dimensional thing where he can't tell of what anything is but feeps he definitely shouldn't have watched it.

afterwards he gets hunted down for seeing that but escapes and talks to people who know about it. the video was a video recorded by astronauts on a mission and they captured like an eldritch thing and everyone died

I don't remember what happens bext nor if i remember this correctly but i have been trying to find it to reread it so if anyone knows i would be very very grateful 🙏🙏🙏
