North 11.12.78 defeated Gold Coast 2.3.15
undefeated!!
Just the third women’s team to do so in the AFLW’s history. First to do it in an 18 team format, and first to do it in an 11 game season.
Fuck we’re good
Question: Will North receive the revenue from its home games in Western Australia?
2025 will see North Melbourne celebrate, along with Hawthorn and the Western Bulldogs/Footscray, 100 years in the VFL/AFL plus the 50th anniversary of the 1975 premiership.
With that in mind and the clubs preparing their plans with the AFL regarding fixtures would anyone else like to see a North Melbourne VS Hawthorn game on a Saturday afternoon at the MCG which could be used by both clubs and North celebrate the 50th anniversary at a game against the team we defeated.
North fans getting ripped:
4 home games in tassie
2 home games in perth
=
Only 5 home games in Melbourne!!!!
Thanks for your service
Draft hand atm looks shite, but we knew it was going to be after imo having the best trade period we’ve had in a long while and smashing it. Point being we’ve still got Pick 2 so massive Tick
How do we split it and get the most out of this “superdraft”. Was thinking
Pick 2 ———> Picks 6/10 or 10/11 (Richmond)
Future First ———> Picks 19/22 (Sydney)
If we really wanted to get clever and get say all 3 of our Idea targets in Armstrong, Tauru and Trainor I’d look at sending 19/22 to a club with a pick in the early to mid-teens.
Welcome Back!! We give our thoughts on North's latest recruits, grade our trade period as well as ask the question: how much better do these players make us?
Plus the roo girls win again! All that & more!

Before the inevitable AFL media post grading out trade period, how do you grade it? I’ve seen a lot of positive and negative comments so far. Overall, I am happy. Would have loved to split pick 2, but still time. Happy with the experience overall, and picking up Parker with Konstanty, I feel the latter is a steal if we manage to get his body right. I’d say b+
Hit me.
Don’t know much about the kid except that he’s a father-son. Anyone able to give some insight into where he plays, what’s he’s like as a player etc.
Ideally we hold our nerve and get it done for pick 44.
But 25 will be in the 30’s by the time it rolls around. Pick 44 and 62 would be used on River Stevens depending on when the bids happen. I feel like missing out of a critical leadership piece who’s still playing good footy would hurt us more than missing out on whoever we would get at effectively pick 32.
If North have to pay for Parker, that’s just where we are at. Nobody lose your mind if it happens.
See title.
Are we going to do anything?
Yay a 32 year old forward
Welcome back Shinboners,
Today we run through the latest from an uneventful trade period, what gets the Parker & Daniel deals done? Answer your questions and also talk about our dominate roogirls.

Luke Parker deal - Starting to progress a little, has been slow since Swans made the GF.
Caleb Daniel deal - Ball’s in his court if he wants to come or not.
Houston deal - He’s open to coming here, but it’s whoever satisfies Port the best. And from Collingwood’s interview it sounds like he may be heading there.
Future 1st - up for grabs in a deal that gives us either a great talent or bolsters this year’s draft hand.
Pick 2 - We’d only split it to move down to at the lowest 6 and would need other picks in this year’s draft.
LDU contract - He’s not quite ready to discuss deal yet, Roos hoping to push for discussion and intend to keep him here.
