Hi all,
New to this sub reddit since I recently decided to pursue neuroradiology and wanted some assistance im where to apply. Specifically I am seeking a ranking list of the neuroradiology fellowships or some sort of framework to know which programs are the best for diagnostic neuroradiology. I know some programs are associated with big names (for example, associated with Harvard), but I know that doesn't necessarily mean the best training faculty for radiology. Similarly, some places emphasize a more procedure or research heavy program, but what im looking for are strong diagnostic neuroradiology programs. Does any such ranking exist? Through friends/colleagues, are there any programs you would consider top notch? Of course other things matter, such as where you want to live or a city you enjoy, however i also want to hopefully train at the best possibly place I can. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi! I'm a young doctor from Portugal thinking on specialising on Neuroradiology. Here our program is different from most countries. Radiology is a different specialty and Neuroradiology is a 5 year residency program focused on diagnostic, intervention and neurosciences. I wanted to know is if anyone knows if I can practice abroad and have that specialty recognised. Also if anyone has any feedback in neuroradiology in their countries is very much welcomed.
I am a second year med student fixed to get into neurorad, any advice to better my chances to match? Does starting out help in any way?

Ive been having headache, 99% of the time in my left temple with dizziness that last for weeks for over a year now. Have tried meds, injections and OTC for migraine and dizziness. Nothing worked. What symptoms should i look out for in case its a brain tumor?

Hey! I am applying to neurorads fellowships this year. Seems like most are fairly similar. I have read picking a location I am genuinely interested in is an option. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on their program that they would like to share. I am ultimately interested in PP, nights, maybe some general day shifts on weeks off. Any input would be helpful! Thank you !

How accurate are these machines? If someone was to have unremarkable scans on both can they confidently rule out a brain tumor?
