Pisanychan Law Firm commercial the worst

You know which one I’m talking about? Played on WNEP a lot and almost always twice sandwiched between another commercial. The guy is annoying, their sound effects are annoying, and when he says “the best” I want to scream. Ok rant over…

Get men's hair colored, beard

I've been going to a barber shop forever. Getting grey. I'm pissed that Ringo Starr is over 80 and has dark hair and beard.

Any recommendations for a place to get hair color for a guy in NEPA? Hair on head definitely. Maybe beard.

Approximate price if you have it. Thanks! .

Afternoon jury duty reporting

I have a jury summons for this week for Luzerne County and I have to report on Friday at 1pm. Does anyone have any experience with a Friday afternoon summons? I’ve had jury duty before and been seated on a jury but reporting on Friday afternoon at 1pm seems strange. I thought usually it was Monday mornings. Any info is appreciated.

Are there any good pizza places in NEPA?

I tried Angelo's last weekend and it was a total waste of time. After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes and calling over 20 times to place my order, I expected something worth the effort. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I got the sweet sauce and it tasted like someone took a dump of sugar in Ragu. If I wanted dessert I would've ordered a cake not pizza. The crust had no flavor, no texture, just dry and sad, didn't bother to leave a tip. I should've saved my time and got DiGiornos. Are there any good pizza places in NEPA or are they all this sad?

Local companies with job opportunities?

I’m graduating in the spring with a degree in accounting and am looking to stay in the area. Does anyone know any good businesses that are hiring around here? (like GUARD) I checked online but can’t find many office jobs. I’d be open to working in accounting, finance, marketing, or anything business related. Thank you!

Costco?

Has anyone recently heard rumors of Costco coming to the area? I heard it will be in the VA hospital area. I was at Timber Ridge Nursing home today and a lot of land is being cleared.

What seeds are you guys planting this year?

Getting our gardens going again this year and expecting pre-planted plants that we have used in the past to be in high demand and short supply... anyone got suggestions on seeds or brand they are using this year that they've had luck with? Normally when I try growing from seeds they never do as well as greenhouse grown ones

all beds are elevated and we throw in new mushroom soil annually, cover em with mulch to prevent weeds

Our current plan is:

- Climbing green beans

- Tomatoes (Beefsteak and Grape)

- Cucumbers

- zucchini

- Bell Peppers

- brussel sprouts

- broccoli

- spinach

- lettuce

- radishes

Looking for a bar near me that has younger crowd

I went to a couple bars last friday (East end den, Moore's cafe) and everyone in there was over 45, you would think on a Friday you would see the main regulars there. I did meet some nice people but rather a younger crowd closer to my age. I live in East end Wilkes so rather keep it walking distance if I could

Got a ticket for parking in the opposite direction?

So I honestly didn't even know that was a thing, I had to park that way because my car was involved in a small fender bend and I didn't want to move it in case that caused more damage. I've done it before but I guess I just wasn't caught before. do they even keep up with these or can I just ignore it

From the city of Wilkes barre

Scammy car wash in Dickson City

If you've been to the LUV car wash in dickson city even once, check your credit statements. My mother used it once in September, and recently she found out that they'd been charging her for a 40$ monthly subscription. How she didn't realize, I have no idea, but looking at their reviews, this has been happening to multiple people. It's worth a check if you've gone to them.

ISO - Jobs in NEPA!

I'm currently a Branch Manager with 4 years of experience managing a team of 15-20 employees regularly.

I have 10 years of customer service experience and 2 years of sales experience.

The branches I manage have grown significantly - one has grown 23% YOY for the last three years. I have saved multiple customer's from cancelling, signed on new customers, and resolved escalated issues.

I have excellent written/verbal communication skills, organization skills, can type 92 WPM, am good at multi-tasking, and I am dedicated to the work that I do.

I am wondering if anyone has any leads on jobs / careers available near the Scranton, PA and surrounding areas. I'm looking for a change and feel that I'm not able to grow further with my current employer.

Bonus if it is a work from home position! That is one of the main things keeping me at my current position.

I would love to work for a small business that has a family-like atmosphere, where we can work independently but also as a team if needed! I am totally a team player, but I am also a self-starter and require minimal supervision.

Thanks for reading!
