Bear Felted Wool Bag: Cozy and Cute!

Bear Felted Wool Bag: Cozy and Cute by Maria Callary Toys!

It's made using needle felting and shaped like an adorable bear, perfect for cuddly vibes!

I've put a ton of love into making this bag super practical yet totally charming. It's not just for carrying stuff around – it's also a fun décor piece that adds a cozy touch to any space.

I Made a Cockatiel!

I wanted to make the cockatiel that sings the cookie cookie song that went viral on TikTok. I think the name of the bird is Ginger. 🤔 Either way, I’m really happy with how cute it turned out!! 🥹

Question about cat toys

Hello there! I’ve seen a lot of people needle felt toys for cats, and recently my cat has become interested (ie obsessed) with a little fuzzy die that I made. I’d like to make him a toy of his own (so maybe he’ll leave mine alone!), but I am a little worried that he will chew on the felt, tear the toy apart, swallow something, and it will harm him. Any advice or suggestions on how to go about this? Thank you!

Needle felting wool to polyester?

Some background: I'm familiar with the properties of wool and the concept of needle felting, but I haven't done very much. I've been asked to make a cloak for someone, and I thought a nice wool cloak would be great, with some personal heraldry on the back. The examples I've seen are cotton appliques glued on, and I just kinda hate the look.

So I'm hoping to needle felt the design onto the cloak and hopefully it'll look nice and be a durable integrated part of the fabric! The only problem is that wool suiting is so expensive 😅

So can I make the cloak out of polyester that looks like wool (the recipient will have no idea and not care if it's not real) and needle felt onto it? Or would the two not hold onto each other enough?

Any advice, about this idea, or one you might think is better, would be so appreciated!

The cast of The Office

I'm making the cast of The Office along with little props. I'm going to do everyone who has appeared on the show at least two episodes, along with duplicate characters in a variety of their most iconic costumes. Any suggestions are welcome!

Here you have Stanley, Dwight, Phyllis, Michael, Kevin, and Jim and Pam in their wedding clothes.

Needle felting onto a wet felt coaster (w/cork in the middle)?

Hello! My ADHD brain has directed me to a new craft! 🥴

I watched a YouTube tutorial and wet felt around a round cork disk to make a coaster. My intention was to needle felt an image into one side of the coaster next. But, then I realized I would be poking holes into the cork piece in the middle of the coaster, and maybe that wasn’t a great idea? Has anyone ever done this with success? Thanks!

Question about using dryer balls

I've seen a few posts about using wool dryer balls as a base for anything that has a round ball shape. Ornaments, pumpkins, snowmen for example.

I checked Amazon and there's a wide range of be prices. Are the cheap balls ok or do I need a specific brand? Any tips on using them?

Needle felted mending

Hi! I've been needle felting little guys for a while now, and I just noticed a tear in my favourite pair of jeans. I've seen people needle felting in jeans, but mostly cute things in visible spots. The tear I have is in the crotch area, in a high friction zone. The jeans fabric is also starting to get a bit weak around, so sewing a patch might actually destroy the whole thing because it would add tension and weak points at the stitch. I was wondering if I could needle felt a larger zone instead, sandwiching the old fabric between the wool, making it stronger in the process, or if that's doomed to fail? Will it hold overtime?

Cinderella Castle at Disney World- not terrible?

One of my best friends works at Disney World and his birthday is coming up so I tried to make him the Cinderella Castle. My husband says it looks cute but I'm not sure.

I started a TikTok for my needle felts!!

I am recently disabled with fibromyalgia and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at the ripe ol’ age of 27. Felting is an art form that I can actually do. I had to stop drawing and painting for now while my health declined but I’m grateful for this stab art :) Just posting the finished pieces. I have several still in the process
