I just saw another lavender field, so I thought Iโd post my very first attempt at needle felting as well ๐๐ช๐ผ
I ordered a bunch of these off Temu - Because the templates often aren't generated properly, or some colours in the reference pictures aren't provided, it's been fun supplementing with my own stock and ideas ๐
I'm trying to make a tony Totoro. Any tips on how to hone in the details? And I would like to add whiskers as well, how would I go about doing that? Thanks!!

Now I have no idea what to do next!
Hello, I have been needle felting for a few months using only acrylic fibers ( its a bit slow but not that bad ). I store my completed projects in a shoe box. I want to use sheep wool but there is a risk of pest infestation. Raw wool can be stored in zip-lock bags, but I am afraid such method might damage felted items especially if it has tiny details. What is the best way to protect these items ? Something which doesn't take much space would be preferred.
iโm a beginner ๐ผ๐ผ
Iโve already done some googling so I know acrylic isnโt ideal, does anyone use alternative fibers? Cotton? Bamboo? Please help!
(I have more than a year experience with other fiber arts including crochet and loom knitting, and Iโve been sewing for nearly 20 years. Just want to expand my horizons.)
