I don't want to hear your great coach in terms of leading great teams but coaches who have impacted players and shaped them into stars in the team they coach or other ventures they have. I obviously have my own pick being Joey Wright but I would love to hear your guys thoughts on who it could be.
Scoring has been a problem all year but now it is getting difficult for the JackJumpers to keep the game close??? https://www.thebasketballfix.com/post/turning-the-tide-can-the-tasmanian-jackjumpers-rebound-from-a-shocking-start
Been following NBL loosely for about a year but just saw the jackjumpers put up 60 points in a game.. seems like a weak effort from the defending champs. Did they lose many players in the off season?
I’ve been watching NBL randomly for a couple years and noticed a lot of these games this year have had extremely low scores compared to the past years. I’ve started to tune into games and the quality of teams and their skills looks far worse than usual. Missing everything, no spacing, turnover central, no free throws made. I’m confused on how it’s dropped this heavily, especially considering it’s not the first few rounds anymore. Any explanation?
FFS all they need to do is defend, put Hurt inside and bloody pass to him.
Everyone else can dance.
Am I underthinking this?
An interesting article about how the Perth young guns now need to stand up to replace the production of MVP Bryce Cotton.

I know that everyone has been going on about Montrezl Harrell as the MVP of the NBL and I agree, but what if the 36ers don't make the top 4, is he a real contender then!
The smokey has to be Jack White this article shed the light and i have to agree and it was written before tonights game where he had another massive night.

Loving Boti Nagy and Joey Wright's honest and informative Time Out No Flop Zone on youtube.
They tackle the issues that other NBL-backed shows avoid: CG's flopping, dodgey decals. They add a bit of humour, they fact check themselves, don't use too much hyperbole, and they have the knowledge and history of the league.
Very refreshing show and by far the best out there
Hello!
Just an FYI, there's a sport's bar on Oxford Street in Sydney that has a focus on women's sports. This will include WNBL. I've been a couple times for other codes, it's a cool spot.
They have the Sydney Flames game this Sunday Live & Loud.

(Not affiliated, just want them to do well)
I've got courtside seats for the Kings vs Jackjumpers game this Sunday 3 Nov and want to make the best of it.
Can anyone give some tips on what I can do before, during and after the game? For example if I get there early, can I get photos with players? Do they have Auctions at half time? Can I get players to sign things after the game?
With Johnny Furphy playing his first game for the Pacers yesterday, it means an Australian has seen the court for every current NBA team apart from the Los Angeles Clippers. Josh Bannan did play for the Clippers summer league team this season but was not given a roster spot.
Brisbane are really hard to watch. Have a decent team but don’t run an offence that puts their best players in a position to score. So many bail outs to bad 3 point shooters.
Anyone got the footage of this? Wasn’t able to was watch the game so would like to see the footage and form my opinion on flop or not?
Update (opinion so take it with a grain of salt): It really does look like he just fell over not gonna lie, may be a crap call from the ref but not a flop. (Again I ain’t a ref so grain of salt here)
I’ve just started watching the NBL, my first season in about 10 years. I was really not happy with SEM’s owner calling out Goulding, I thought it was pathetic. Man watching that play in this last quarter + other things I’ve heard. Why do we tolerate this in the Aussie league? You flop in most Australian sports you’re on the front page of the paper until you stop, why hasn’t this bloke been smashed for his antics more? He went down like his leg fell off tonight, gets back up as soon as the call goes his way. I’m very much a new fan so if this is against the norm then please let me know!
This is my first time watching NBL and they're booing him like when Kyrie came back to Boston. When I look it up I can't rlly find anything about it. I heard Aussies get some tough love from the NBL fans compared to other leagues, is that the case here? Or is there something more sinister to it?
What's the norm for live stream delay?
I can get mine down to about 9 seconds.
🤷🏼♂️
Don’t get my wrong, I think it’s a great opportunity for guys to make a jump to the most elite basketball league in the world but I also feel as if it would be great for the league and the fans to have more players stick around for their whole careers. Obviously the money is better in the states is better but I would love to see more of the Aussie guys stay playing in the Australian league.
If there’s any old Tiger fans out there who don’t follow United, who do you go for & what was your reaction at the time? I loved the Tigers & was 14 when they became United. I lasted 1 half, felt absolutely nothing for them & didn’t flick on an nbl game until SEM came into the league a few years ago. I’m just getting back into the full league now, boy there’s a few different teams than when I left!
2008 Olympics bodysuit uniform signed by team including Lauren Jackson, was an unexpected find!
Just moved house and having issues with NBN, so having some live sport on FTA is a godsend.
2 x NBL games and an a league game yes please!!!
I was used to seeing them on 10Peach
I’ve been the biggest advocate for NBL and how far it has come as a a league, But my lord this round has been tough to watch just seems like every team is trying to shoot a 3 every possession. Hopefully it’s just start of the season rust
