Nature photos from all over the world, mostly content by the original photographer. Videos are also allowed as of Feb, 9th, 2023.
Nature photos that you took, or merely nice photos of nature that you found. The focus here is on the image and natural surroundings.
Suitable places to host photos are places like Imgur, Reddit, Flickr, 500px, Panaramio, Foundation.app and other image hosting sites. If you have a story about the location or the photo, that would be nice to add in a comment.
If you link from sites like Deviantart or Tumblr, please link directly to the image. The goal is to show the photo, not the website that supports it.
• Please spell and capitalize your titles correctly or your post will be removed.
• Please use correct English in your titles or your post may be removed.
• Unless it's a watermark, please don't add slogans or text to your photo.
• Please, do not link to articles, blogs, stock photo sites, Instagram and "top 10 image" sites.
• If the photo is from a place that people might like to know about, let us know where it's from!
• Please don't overly saturate or overly process your images. The focus here is on the image.
• While people are allowed in the image, please be aware that this subreddit is about nature pics. Please try to minimize use of vehicles, buildings, manmade items and people in the submission and certainly don't center someone in a photo if at all possible. The goal is not to showcase a person in nature, but to showcase nature itself with as few people and man made items in the photo as possible.
If there's a nice story to the photo, please add it to the description.
If you post photos you took, it's nice to post the photo specifics like location and EXIF data.
All photo rights remain as those established by the original owner.
Enjoy.
