By his big 3, I mean the obvious Monster, 20th cb annd Pluto. And add Billy Bat.
But how good are his other works besides these? And is the Master Keaton anime worth a shot?
I hope it’s 20thCB or Billy bat.20thCB movies part2-3 is not that enjoyable for me I prefer manga more but I like the casting.
Just finished 20cb, and after that and Monster, I'm planning on reading/wacthing pluto. Probably watching first, because its only releasing now here in the Brazil, the first issue just dropped. And I have some questions...
-Should I wait for it all being released and read it first than watching? There's of course non-fisical ways of reading it. I watched monster a year before reading it, and I think it was the best option.
-Should I read astro boy or at least search for some knowledge on its story? I don't know anything about the story, the only contact I had with it was the cgi movie and some crossovers that were made with Monica's Gang (our most popular comic series here in BR)
Thank you all in advance!
Looking for a Billy Bat sketch or just anything signed in general. Can’t find much at all that has been signed. Most signed Urasawa stuff is 20th century boys related.
It sounds the same somehow. It got the same vibe to it! I love both so much.
Hi I just finish Pluto but in the episode 3 in wassily flash back he see a shape that say « bora » and after that the PTSD do that he only say bora, but what was the shape ? A real robot like the bora prototype that do terraforming or the shape about the old story about the trib that kill themeself in the volcano or something else can someone explain me what it was ?
Yo! Im halfway through 20th cb and when im done reading i think imma pick up monster. But i want to explore some more of urasawas works, so i wanna know, what are your favourite works?
Hi, everyone. Not an anime big fan and have never read a manga but two of the animes I have truly liked are Monster and Pluto so I now want to read 20th century boys. If I have the chance of reading 1 hour a day, in how many days do you think I'll finish the whole story? I know its pretty hypotethical but I want to know your guesses.
Thanks!
I love Naoki Urasawa. He is a great story-teller. I prefer to read manga when it's complete to avoid large breaks in being able to read. I don't like to lose momentum. I can't wait for this story to finish so I can read it. Any thoughts so far in terms of the story, your connection to the characters or your level of excitement to keep reading?
Just finished the show and I absolutely loved it. I've got two movies to watch. I am wondering if there is a manga continuation?
So far I have read Monster and Billy Bat, which I both absolutely loved. After that I started reading Master Keaton, which I also really liked but I couldn't finish, because I couldn't find the chapters online. I'll order the physical releases soon, but until then, what manga would you read next?
Edit: Thanks for the recommendations, its gonna be 20th Century Boys next!
i just want to get to his manga's
So far I read the first volume. Can't wait for more. In terms of naoki uwasawas works what would you rank this manga at? I know all of his works are amazing, but just for you personally.
This old man has a rough backstory I can tell, and the mystery is shaping up pretty good with this typhoon stuff.
