Wish Muse would take notes 😇
There's STiNK! On Spotify and Amazon music but i can't find it on twitter. It doesn't sound like myse but still slaps
I went as Matt Bellamy for this year's Halloween and I even had my own movie moment at a live karaoke night where the band learned Supermassive Black Hole on the spot (my buddy on bass). Excuse the bad vocals but I genuinely was running on adrenaline and one of my friends in the crowd got the video from the crowd. It was truly a moment 🤣 please enjoy the chaos. I definitely screwed up the key of the solo but I made it work? 🫣
I’ve been holding off on getting absolution on vinyl specifically because fury is top 3 for me and I’d prefer not to pay $120+ cad for the xx anniversary box. Has there ever been a press with fury in it and if so where can I find it?
Those media outlet predictions are insanely accurate. Also the pub this was in wasn’t remotely music inclined at all. But the toilet walls were lined top to bottom in band and movie posters.
The whole thing not even just the bridge. The flow never stops and the lyrics are actually so good. The little guitar break after the first verse is magical playing its perfect
This is a post to appreciate the initiatives Muse used to do for their fans. I’m especially referring to the "Bank of MUSE," a clever and fun way of using MUSO, a fake currency that was thrown into the crowd during Animals on the Unsustainable Tour. The more people signed up for the bank, the more content was released.
If you're curious, here’s the link to Flikr album of Bank of MUSE
All this to say that, in my opinion, their relationship with fans has weakened and turned into a mere commercial gesture. I fondly remember receiving an email from muse.mu with a Christmas gift or the chance to unlock an exclusive preview of a song from their upcoming album. Now, it’s only about releasing reissues, remasters, or limited editions of old material. Nothing new, special, or heartfelt. Just a way to make money.
What are your favorite fan initiatives, or the ones you remember most fondly?
Let’s start the nostalgia train, hoping for more things like this in the future.
Am I missing any?
Hi guys.
I am missing new stuff from Muse and seeing them live. Do you guys know when they are making a New cd or going on tour?
I’m a season ticket holder for the Capitals and almost every game they’ve played 1-3 muse songs. WSD is very constant but last night they played fucking MK Ultra and they even played Supremacy a couple games ago. As Muse being my favorite band of all time and Caps being my favorite sports team it’s nice for them to be combined.
Hello, and welcome to our monthly music discussion thread!
These threads are a great place to discuss other music you've been listening to, music you've found/created that you think other Muse fans would like, or just general discussion about whatever you'd like that is not Muse related.
Rules 1 and 3 will be relaxed, but please keep in mind that all other rules remain standing.
Comments are appreciated, thank you 💜
If you were put in charge of putting on a show for muse with total freedom of support and the venue you wanted. With no worries of realism, what would be your perfect gig. I’ve go with muse and ratm headlining the den for 3 nights for rages last ever shows. What would you pick?
For me it's will of the people. Sounds like a song you'd hear in a Ubisoft game
If Muse where to cover Alice Cooper ( or Alice cooper related) song what would it be . And of ; coarse, vice/verse. Alice Cooper coving a muse song .
Or any of the following combination :
Like if this were for a halloween festival with a bunch a goth rock bands ; rob zombie, , alice cooper, my chemical romance , e.tc and some not so goth , industrial bands like Garbage, Muse ... S.O.A.D , is playing and blink 182 for one night
I'm sure we're all aware of the comparisons between Muse and Radiohead, and out of curiosity and boredom I thought I'd ask for everyone's ideas on Muse songs that sound vey Radiohead, bonus points for anyone who thinks of a song that isn't from Showbiz.
Just look at their facial expressions this is hilarious and I love every moment of it!
