'69 Cutlass Restore - 60th bday gift

My dad is restoring his high school car from the frame up. He's basically ready for paint and interior. He turns 60 towards the end of the month. Any recommendations on gifts?

Here he is firing it up for the first time last month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyQjth7v_sk

Discourse in the Car Community

Hey guys, I am a high school student writing a research paper assessing how different car enthusiast groups have discourse (communicate with the same goal in mind) with each other and how difficult or easy it is to communicate with groups other than the one you associate with most. I would greatly appreciate it if you took some time to fill out this survey linked below.

I can answer any questions you have, just shoot me a message. Any personal experiences or views you want to share are also greatly appreciated.

hello everyone don't know if this is the right place for this question

Hemi or LS

I'm having an argument with a friend about which engines are more reliable in terms of power and daily driving....I've heard from multiple sources that LS engines have always handled high power better and they're more reliable.....hemis I can't say the same as I always hear the same lifters head gaskets and rods shitting the bed after a beating unlike Ls engines...... 2nd do mopar and LS share any internal parts at all? I wkdnt expect them to but u never know nowadays

I thought you might like this 80s car commercial mash-up. They don’t sell cars like this today!

Leaky head

We pulled the head off our 1970 Chevelle because the pressure was testing SUPER low on the first one. Other than a cracked head, what’s the most common reason for this?? We ordered replacements valves but if that doesn’t work what should the next step be?
